I am a little disappointed with this hotel. The hotel itself is fine. But I asked could I stay an extra night (after being there 3 for 390 total) I was told 160 for 1 extra night.b&b I wouldn't give it. I was also told I had to be there for my breakfast at 8.30 and when late I was told I need to get my watch fixed. Just a bit ott for my liking for this 4 star. Any way got a hotel for 100 up the road. Hope you sold your room for for that outrageous 160.

Room was like a dungeon. View was looking at the air vents. No residence bar. Very strick closing at breakfast. We saw 2 old couples refuse hot service for being 5 minutes late. Then watched a couple wait staff come out of the kitchen with big full Irish breakfast. We had to call and ask for an iton. It leaked water everywhere when you tried to use the steam and my friend had it set on low and it still burned her shirt. I don't think we will be staying there again. Also the bar manager was very rude.

Loud music came from the bar downstairs. Couldn't sleep. When mentioned to staff at 10:50 pm and was told it was a 'standard' practice until 11:30. So I asked if I had to put up with it and the staff simply replied 'yes'. Unbelievably rude staff and bad management. Hugely disappointed and never go back!!

A mixed bag from the Allingham. It was clean and presentable with a reasonable selection of drinks. We had a minor snafu with service, initially being seated in a food only area by one member of staff, having advised we only wanted drinks, then having to move to the lobby after getting seated and prepping our party's drinks order. Not a big deal but mildly frustrating. Most of us had cold drinks, nothing to note here, my wife had an Irish Coffee. Fairly low quality but the bar was busy. I would note the initial staff member that seated us should be commended for using common sense and flexing guidelines to offer good customer service, (the food area was deserted and there were three staff stood chatting, the quiet area clearly suited our group). I see great things in their future, keep up the good work.

Stayed at Allingham for two nights as part of a group. Room was clean+ comfortable, service was good. We had evening meal on both nights, first night good but fish and chips on second wasn't great, bland and tasteless. We had music on both nights, which was enjoyable, also bar staff were very polite and helpful.

Recently had a family staycation for 3 nights. Rooms were lovely, spacious & comfortable. Staff were very accommodating. Amazing music & entertainment. Felt completely safe & at home. Worth the money. Everybody enjoyed their stay ... from an 11 year old, to an 80 year old. Breakfast was good. We were right next to the beach. There was a cute little coffee/icecream hut right outside the door, with wonderful friendly staff. Will definitely be returning. Loved it.

A beautiful hotel set in the middle of Bundoran. Ample Disabled Parking close to the entrance. Fabulous food, comfortable bar, and restaurant too. I'll definitely be making a return visit 😁

I’m afraid I don’t rate this hotel much at all. The corridors are like dark rabbit runs and the first room we were allocated had one window which overlooked a very noisy Industrial extractor fan (and nothing else)! The alternative room we were given was better, modernised with a sea view, but with absolutely no privacy from the promenade unless you had fully closed curtains😬 I find it extremely hard to believe this hotel is four star rated.

Nice hotel. Service okay. If you have kids, getting their meals first seems to be difficult. But lovely food.

Loud, bothersome bar music was playing when I was trying to sleep. Phoned reception and asked if they could do anything about it. She said no, and it would finish at 11:30. I asked if I had to put up with it, and she responded with a “yes” and nothing else. I paid for my hotel room, so why should I have to put up with blaring music at night? The manners were rude and appalling. Around 11:15, I spoke to the manager and he said he would lower the volume but it didn’t make a difference. However, one of the waiters at breakfast provided excellent service by arranging a breakfast tray for me to take up to my room for a guest who wasn’t able to come down. He covered the plate with tinfoil and even wrapped the toast in a napkin.

Had a family meal here at the wkd. The service was excellent, the place was extremely busy but comfortable and eveything was very clean. The food was good but I couldn't help that feel the main course was something bought direct from a supermarket. Our kids enjoy a shredded chicken salt and pepper that you can buy from a well known supermarket and it tasted and looked exactly the same!! Our 10 year old daughter had a cookie and ice cream desert and she commented that the cookie was from the supermarket too!! I wasn't too impressed with that as I felt the chicken dish would be something that could easily be freshly made up. It wouldn't put us off going again though, I just wouldn't order that particular dish again.

Went for an evening meal. Decided to go for seafood chowder and the waitress arrived promptly with the bowl on a plate using a tea towel. I work in a catering environment and I took the plate out of her hands and it was cold as was the soup bowl , red flag as the soup was nuked ie, microwaved. Main course was roast beef which was sitting on the mash and ladled with gravy yummy ,, veg arrived at same time but same again dish was cold and the veg was screaming hot in the middle. Maybe I got a bad night as my wife spoke highly about her previous visits . Might just give it one more try soon

Well known venue for Irish/ C&W acts, plenty of parking. Meals in Quay bar were fine, but beer variety bit limited. Band sound reaches all rooms so avoid weekends if you are not a fan......
