A
bit
deceptive
as,
from
outside,
it
looks
shabby
and
in
need
of
a
bit
of
refurbishment.
The
paintwork
outside,
is
faded
and
patchy
and
the
wooden
window
frames,
are
largely
rotten
and
would
definitely
benefit
from
being
replaced.
However,
if
you
let
the
outside
view
put
you
off,
you'll
miss
a
treat.
The
inside
is
pretty
clean
and
tidy,
the
staff
are
very
friendly
and
helpful
and
the
food
is
good,
basic,
fayre.
We
went
for
£5.95
all
you
want
breakfast,
unlimited
teas
on
top
it
was
great
value.
Good
selection
of
the
usual
English
breakfast
choices
including:
fried
eggs,
mushrooms,
hash
browns,
beans,
tomatoes,
bacon
and
sausages
all
of
which
were
really
tasty.
The
extra
choice
of
a
Yorkshire
pudding
(large
and
beautifully
baked)
was
quite
unusual,
but,
being
from
Yorkshire,
I
had
to
have
one,
and
to
my
delight,
it
was
a
great
idea.
The
chefs/cooks,
frequently
top
up
the
food
trays
with
nicely
prepared
fresh
food.
You
can
get
your
toast
from
the
conveyor
toaster
(like
on
holiday
in
hotels
abroad),
and
the
PG
tips
tea
never
fails.
You
can,
of
course,
get
a
breakfast
at
the
hotel,
but
not
at
these
prices
and
for
me,
hotel
breakfast
are
never
as
tasty
nor
plentiful
as
this.
Car
parking
requires
you
to
register
as
you
enter,
but
it's
free
(other
hospitality
providers
should
take
note),
so
you
can
relaxe
and
enjoy
the
great
food
here.
