Terrible hospitality - avoid at all cost. Our 2-night reservation at this accommodation was double-booked by the owner, who informed us of this once we'd already arrived at the house. We then were offered one night's stay at the house (as the other guests were due to arrive the following night), and were to be evicted the following evening. A stellar discount of 10% was on the table, which in the owners eyes apparently covered ruining a holiday (any more than 10% and it wouldn't make sense, financially - his own words). Luckily we were able to find a much nicer and cheeper option an hour's drive away (so the holiday wasn't ruined in the end!), and the owner there was super helpful and found a way to accommodate the whole party at very short notice.

As a quite occasional traveler, I have to say this has been one of the worst experiences i had with an accomodation. At the moment of arrival, around 8pm, the owner greeted us by telling us he made a mistake with overbooking. Of course, this things can be usually understood, but he had no plan of where to put us the next day, had no intention to provide us with a discount (later he promised 10%) and had a terrible terrible attitude. Apparently overbooking happens to him 3-4 times a year, so maybe im too harsh on him and his little pencil and notebook. Maybe youll be one of the lucky ones! Ill keep my fingers crossed!!! ;) To make matters worst, he got very defensive about it, insulted us for expresing some dissatisfaction, telling us its not really worth it keeping us anyway and that we can go somewhere else if we dont like his suggestions. In general, the worst possible example of how to treat a customer. To conclude, would not recommend this stay to anyone. Never coming close. I would rather sleep in a sewer. But if you really really really like pools, jacuzzis and saunas and you still get tempted, dont do it, youre better than this! I am proud of you already

If your are searching for a genuine Slovenian hospitality, if you are looking for a place to enjoy walks in nature, crystal clear air, amazing views and sunsets and sunrises, watching night sky without light pollution, sleeping in a room that smells of wood, place to feel like you came to visit friends, relaxing in outside pool or in private wellness with small indoor pool, hot tub and sauna then Na Škaluc where Peter and Valerija will greet you is a place to go.

Awesome place but our room was a bit dusty (maybe because it is in the forest). Owner is really nice and breakfast also really good. The only complain: sheets in the bed could be renewed since were too worn out.

We liked everything. The best host you can get! Had a lots of fun. Will come back!

Best place ever! Been here last summer and the people that run this place are super friendly, the food is amazing and the nature is magical. I highly recomend this place.

Ich war mit meiner Familie dort und es war wunderbar. Tolle, saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber sind sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht und die Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß 👍👍👍 die Lage und die Ausstattung sind wirklich perfekt. Wir kommen sehr bald wieder.
