Most professional tour company I have used Katja organized the most amazing accommodation in all the best locations along our journey. We did some biking & hiking and this was made so easy with a navigation app plus the Slotrip app for all the info you need along the journey. I would recommend this company to anyone that want to have adventure a-bit of actively & also have baggage all taken for you along the way.

I just came back from a guided 3 day Julian Alps hut to hut hike and am still overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountains. Everything went great from start to finish, and I even took up on the surprise summit to Triglav and I am so glad I did! Our guide Bostjan did an amazing job, leading us up with a good and steady (sweaty :)) pace, telling us where we are, what are we looking at and encouraged me to the summit even though I was doubting if I could do it. He is awesome! Also, our guide Tomo that took me and Andy to the summit was a rock star! Very professional, making us feel safe going up steep ridges, telling us stories about his travels and giving us tips for our next adventures. Having these two as guides was amazing. All in all, the trip was phenomenal and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have amazing views, good company and lots of breathtaking moments. We made 2 trips with Slotrips this summer, one guided (Julian Alps) and one self-guided (Alpe Adria). From our first contact (which was late in the evening via their chat option on the website) till our last contact everything wend smooth. They go above & beyond to answer our questions and provide us with the best possible experience. The guided tour was a small group, very nice people and a knowledgeable guide. The 3 days where amazing! For the self guided tour they set you up with a GPS app on your phone for the route and instructions. As backup also their is a map and written instructions. The app works very well, the accommodations where very nice and it was a good way for us to end our vacation. I can only recommend to everyone to book one of their tours. The prices are fair, the trips amazing and they go all the way to give you the best possible experience.

Slotrips planned a two week hiking and biking adventure for our family of five and we had the best time! We got to see so much of the beautiful scenery in Slovenia and Croatia. My husband and I did an 8-day trip through Butterfield & Robinson, and it was partly hosted by Slotrips. BOTH companies were amazing. We stayed in small boutique hotels and ate wonderful meals. During the day, we hiked in the Julian Alps and rode e-bikes using the app in wine country and through Italy and Slovenia and Croatia. Our guides and drivers were all top-notch. I highly recommend this tour company for Slovenia and highly recommend B&R for anywhere in the world.

My husband and I LOVED our “Summit to Sea” self guided tour with SloTrips! The itineraries were super clear and thoughtfully curated! We had so much fun with the right level of challenging in line with the descriptions. The transfers were easy, the hotels and lodging were great and unique and Slovenia was unbelievably gorgeous! The luggage transfers made adventure travel seamless. And communication was great from start to finish. We hiked and biked thru the alps and wine country, stayed in beautiful places, ate great food, rafted the Socca River and ended with a beautiful seaside stay in Piran. Would definitely recommend SloTrips!!!

I booked a 4D3N self guided hiking tour with Slotrips, and it was the most amazing experience. Despite being first time mountain hikers, we had no problem following the guide Domen put together for us. We were tired after each day’s hike but the views are so worth it, and Domen also booked the best accommodations for us every night where we could get delicious food and a good rest. On our last day, we had to change our plans due to unforeseen circumstances - Domen was super responsive and made the necessary arrangements for us within minutes. So even though it was a self guided tour, we felt very safe knowing that we can get support any time. This is actually the second time I have engaged Slotrips for a trip - and it will certainly not be my last. Slovenia is beyond beautiful, and Slotrips is the best partner to help us discover this country. Many thanks to Domen and team for always doing such a good job! Just finished the 4 day Alpe Adria Trail Multiactive Adventure. It was a well organized self guided trip with all the details arranged for us. It exceeded our already high expectations and was the perfect combination, using e-bikes on day 3 when our calves were a bit sore. Can’t recommend Slotrips enough. Vineyards, Mountains, Caves and great food in beautiful Slovenia Review of Slotrips Pending review In summary Slovenia is absolutely beautiful, the countryside and people are just amazingly friendly; you can't help but have a good time. Oh and the food and wine is just sublime. I can also thoroughly recommend SloTrips for the support we received on our walk, and also mapping a good route to follow! We booked a Slovenian trip with a local group in Melbourne who use SloTrips as their Slovenian Reps. We did A taste of Slovenia walk. Starting with some of our own time at Bled before commencing our SloTrips walk essentially walking from Mt Nanos to Piran. We met our coordinator, Katja, in Bled for a coffee and she briefed us on our walks and gave us our luggage tags, maps (+Map Apps) and made sure we were all sorted for the walk. She also told us to contact her if there were any problems. Well on the 1st day I had a bit of a tumble on Mt Nanos near Razdrto, after missing a trail marker and heading the wrong way up a steep slippery slope. Totally my problem, anyway i had a bit of a gash under my knee and by the time we back-tracked and got back on the right trail, we were almost 2-hours behind, so we contacted Katja to let her know that we might be late at the accommodation and for them not to worry. Katja swung into action, booked us a restaurant that night and arranged with our accommodation to pick us up 5km from our end point so we wouldn't be too late for dinner. She also checked in with me periodically to make sure my knee was OK and holding up. When we got rained out by a Thunderstorm on another day she was also able to co-ordinate an alternative with us to the walk that was planned. This flexibility and support that we got from SloTrips is a reason why I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone walking in Slovenia. The places where we stayed were excellent as well, especially Hotel St Daniel outside of Stanjel.

An amazing week of hiking and a once-in-a-lifetime experience with Slotrips! Our guides Barbara and Bojana were absolutely the best: friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and fun. We loved traveling around Slovenia with our small Slotrip family and got to experience so much of the country we would have missed if traveling on our own. The hikes, sights, and food were all amazing! We learned so much about the country and culture from our guides. I would recommend to anyone to book a trip with Slotrips! What an AMAZING experience in a stunningly beautiful country. Domen created the absolute perfect trip for my family - we hiked, biked, rafted, zip lined, etc. Our guide (Alenka) was fantastic. Everything was so well planned and executed without flaws. Can't recommend them enough!!!

If you plan to visit Slovenia, do yourself a favor and book your travel through Slotrips! Domen and his team are amazing. I had initially booked a 4 day fly fishing trip to Slovenia through a local guide service, but due to the severe drought conditions, my trip was cancelled. I sent Domen an email to see what my options were for setting up an itinerary on “short notice”. After a follow up phone call, Domen presented me with a detailed itinerary to include private transfer service from Venice Marco Polo airport to Lake Bohinj, hotel lodging, hiking and biking itineraries including a private guided hike in Triglav national park. All of this was amazing and every aspect of the trip was managed with care and detail. However, the most impressive aspect of the Slotrips experience was how they responded when I experienced a medical emergency! I passed a kidney stone on day 3 of my trip (never had this medical issue before). I called the emergency number in the app and immediately had a “live body” on the phone. I was transferred by ambulance to a local hospital. Slotrips picked up my luggage at my hotel in Bohinj and transferred it to Ljubljana during my ED visit. They checked in on me during my ED visit and arranged for a private transfer from the hospital to Ljubljana later that day. I would not hesitate to use the Slotrips team again and am looking forward to a return visit to this delightful corner of the world. We highly recommend booking with Slotrips! Domen worked with us to plan a wonderful custom two week trip in Slovenia. Our itinerary was outstanding and we were provided excellent recommendations for hiking, biking, restaurants, wineries and more. It was a perfect blend of the mountains, rivers, glacially carved valleys, wine country as well as seaside towns. All details were easily accessible in an app along with GPS routes which were downloadable for our hikes, which was fantastic. Slotrips was fantastic. Miha did a great job planning a custom, self guided hiking and biking ten day trip with a side of great food. Everything was great. Miha did a really nice job of providing detailed, well thought out and beautiful routes through Slovenia. The hotels were all nice, small boutique properties with carefully chosen rooms. We had a significant last minute change and Miha graciously worked with us on our needed changes. We loved Slovenia and Slotrips.

We booked a three day hiking trip with slotrips and it was just amazing. Pick up was right on time. Arrivals in the huts were arranged and the Julian alps are really stunning! Recently returned from a wonderful self-guided hike in Slovenia on the Alpe-Adria trail, from the Austrian border down to Tolmin in the Soca valley. The trip had stunning scenery (and great food and wine) throughout, and Domen at Slotrips did a terrific job of organising it all - very highly recommended!

My daughter, her friend and I recently completed a self-guided hiking trip arranged by Slotrips. I can’t say enough great things about this company! My communication with Katja was excellent. She created a detailed itinerary and arranged all of the logistics that enabled us to have a beautiful, stress free outdoor adventure. Accommodations, luggage transfers, and transportation all went off without a hitch. The gps-enabled hiking map worked beautifully. We spent many hours hiking without seeing another person but we always knew we were on the right track, or when to reorient ourselves if we got confused. Slotrips’ staff knows how to help visitors enjoy Slovenia, and Katja delivered perfect weather, too!

The 3 day hut-to-hut tour of the Julian Alps offered by Slotrips was one of the highlights of my trip in Slovenia. It was an incredible and intense trekking experience… from impressive views, to the thrill of hiking on narrow mountain ridges; from spotting chamois & marmots, to coming across former Yugoslavia/ Italy border markers; and from sleeping in remote mountain huts, to laughing with new friends :) Domen, our guide, was super flexible and adapted the trek based on our physical ability and wishes as a group. My husband and I just returned home from two of the best weeks of our lives touring and hiking with Slotrips. From our first communication with owner Miha, we knew we were dealing with the best of the best. Miha planned our entire trip, which included three days in Brda learning about and tasting Slovenian wine, seven days with a hiking group “Best Hikes of Slovenia” with the greatest tour guide ever, Peter, and three days in Istria and Rovinj, Croatia. Every detail was carefully planned, and included totally unexpected delights such as a private lunch in a renowned restaurant and wine tasting/lunches surrounded by mountain peaks that literally took our breath away. Miha has built contacts with very interesting and accomplished folks all over Slovenia who seem more than happy to accommodate his tour groups. And he was checking in with throughout the two weeks to make sure that every detail was AOK. As you can tell from this review, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. In fact, we are already considering plans for our next trip.

I was on the 7 night hiking trip and it was fantastic. Everything was perfectly organized. The hiking was challenging, but spectacularly beautiful. The organization was seamless, the food, accommodation, transfers and especially our incredibly professional and knowledgeable guide Aljaz were just perfect. Highly recommended!

Miha just planned a trip for us to do a 4 day hiking trip in the Triglav Mountains. His help was absolutely invaluable!! He created a fantastic itinerary which was dropped off at our hotel and included a step by step GPS app to help with hiking. He also helped set us up with the best hiking route when we weren't really sure where to go and booked the most amazing mountain huts to stay in along the way. He was also available via email for all the endless questions I had! With Miha's guidance, we were able to have a fantastic adventure in Slovenia. We love Slovenia and working with Miha. I can't recommend him enough!!

We had a great 4 day hiking trip in the Julian Alps that was well prepared and planned by Miha from Slotrips. They plotted a trip that fitted our wishes and level of competence. We received the route by map (drawn in), pdf and in an app. The huts and rooms were fine and the scenery (incl. flora and fauna) stunning. Highly recommended!

I really really loved the hike! Although challenging at some times, the beautiful scenery made every bit worth it. It was nice to have Aljaz to lead the way and tell us facts and myths about the Julian Alps, such that we only had to think about enjoying every second of it. I was thinking t about doing the hike alone, but I am so happy I didn’t. The vibe in the group was really great, I love how diverse a group can be and still really bond over intensive thing such as this hike. Definitely would (actually already have) recommend this to anyone who loves hiking! (Also a big shoutout to Aljaz for shipping me my slippers that I forgot in the first mountain hut haha). Furthermore, it was amazing how quick Miha was to respond to my mails and questions every single time. All in all, this trip was probably one of the best ones I have ever been on. I truly truly loved it!!
