We went during Happy hour. The wait was going to be 45 minute. So we went to the bar. It was busy. Took a minute for someone to give us the menu, but like I said they were busy. So we totally understand. My husband got the chicken nachos, I order the poke nachos and split the fried calamari. Food was good. Large selection of beer. My poke nachos was delicious, wish the portions was like my husband chicken nachos. 3 star is not bad for happy hours. The most they would had got was 4 stars since we didn’t used the restroom. Would love to go and have dinner there to write another review.

Had a great experience every time I’ve been there. Recently went there on Sunday evening (after 10pm when most places are closed). Was seated quickly. Our server Francisco was very professional and great at what he does! Very nice atmosphere, but music is a bit too loud. Drinks and food tasted great and came quickly! Bathroom was clean too. The best experience I could’ve had late Sunday:)

If you ever in Va Beach you have to go to this place. The food is delicious and plentiful. Also the service was very nice. We didn’t have to wait hours for our food and we enjoyed every bite of it. They have picture perfect and delicious food that you want regret getting. I will be going again to try other spectacular dishes and drinks again. Thank for you wonderful service and food.

The experience was nice. We sat at the bar and enjoyed appetizers, chicken entrees, and beer on tap. The bartender was friendly. They played good music that was diverse. The fries are a must have!!! Our only complaint would be the freshness of the food. The fried calamari was definitely not fresh nor hot. The tenders were hard too.

The new bourbon and white cheddar cheese burger was delicious, sweet potato fries would be better with brown sugar. Food is always good here the truffle fries are excellent and the sweet potato pancake and chicken dish was very tasty too!

Came here last week for the first time and the entrees weren’t the best but they also weren’t the worst. The best part of the meal was the appetizers especially the nachos which were some of the best nachos I’ve ever had and you get a heaping plate full which is great. Other than the entrees being 50/50 the service was pretty good, the server named Thomas and as very nice and helpful. I Would definitely come back in the future to give them another chance and to possibly update my rating as well.

So we needed a place to eat new years eve. .that was open past 8 pm. I saw reviews and they looked good so I gave it a shot. What I did t know was how packed it was midtown that night. . But it wasn't toooooo bad. There was parking near by..we got in and had about a 10 mi ute wait which was not bad at all for the event and day. It was packed.but service was fast. And good. No complaints what so ever. The atmosphere was nice. Spacious. As packed as it was never felt like I was sitting on top of others. Alot of seating for big groups. The food was good. Very good.prices were actually not too bad. Depe ding on what u order. I'm not a drinker but they had a very big selection of drinks if that is your thing..this place is definitely a must. Amd the location is good...midtown. so there is shopping near by as well. And plenty of other food selections..

Had a great lunch here. Had the Edamame, chicken wings were amazing!! Especially the Korean chili sauce ones with the lil crisps and green onions. Husband loved his burger and that’s saying a lot! I recommend the strawberry lemonade for a non-alcoholic beverage. Also they have a great happy hour!

1/7/24 - Stopped by on a Sunday to get a bite to eat. I haven't been hear in awhile but there truffle fries haven't changed and are still delicious. I ordered the Korean BQQ tacos and they were really good. We also got the appetizer nachos with the tuna on it and it was so good. It was refreshing. We got the calamari which was also good. My husband got the wings and didn't know they were breaded. He ended up not eating them because of that but our friends at the table didn't see to mind them. I ordered the peach mojito which was really good. Our server was okay. I wish she stopped by to check in a little better. Usually there is a wait but we were able to be seated right away when we got there.

Wonderful place to eat. The food was delicious but super filling. Expect leftovers because they overserve and it’s a good thing. The service was nice we were immediately seated and our drinks were consistently refilled. The atmosphere is a mix. It’s a combination of casual dining and sports bar mixed. The combination barely pulls itself off. I would not recommend this place if you want to dine and talk, or first date trying to get to know someone. But if you don’t mind watching the various screens or listening to music in silence while you eat, it’s a good place.

Let me start off with saying that our waitress, Lateric, was super awesome!!! My son wanted to go here to celebrate his 16th birthday and she did a wonderful job. So thank you Lateric! We were greeted by a smiley and friendly hostess as soon as we walked in. The place was pretty busy for a Thursday night and there was a wait for tables but a few high top tables available so we sat there. Lateric then came an introduced herself as our waitress and asked if we had been there before. I told her I had but that my kids hadn't and that we were celebrating my son birthday. She welcomed them and wished him a happy birthday. And informed him he'd be getting a dessert on the house. We placed our drink orders and then ordered the chicken nachos as an appetizer and our entrees when she came back with the drinks. There's a lot going on in the restaurant that made the wait for food not seem long. There are a bunch of tvs in the restaurant and 80's music playing. The nachos came out and they looked so good and tasted even better. We devoured those and then our burgers came out. We ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich, bacon cheeseburger, cheeseburger, and whiskey with aged cheddar burger. All were AMAZING! The sauce on my whiskey cheddar burger was finger licking good. At some point during our appetizer, I accidentally knocked over my beer while Lateric was checking up on our table. She immediately brought some bar towels over and started wiping it up. I apologized and thanked her and finished cleaning up my mess. A few minutes later, I had a fresh beer next to me that I didn't even notice was brought to me. And then Lateric brought my son dessert. It was a nice touch and looked so good! My son was one happy birthday boy. So to sum up the place. The food was great but there service was amazing!

I have nothing but compliments for Yard House after our recent dinner. The sports bar vibe may make you think their focus is primarily drinks, which they cover well, but at the same time the kitchen brings it’s A game. Everything we ordered was top notch. It’s tough to pick out a standout from the evening but I have to say the poke nachos are one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. On top of that our server was friendly and knowledgeable, leaving us with no worries. I don’t visit the area very often but I will certainly return to Yard House next time I pass through

The food was good. We ordered chicken wings for appetizers. I ordered the Korean beef appetizers as my main meal. I am happy that I did because it was a large portion. My sister ordered the glazed salmon which she liked. My niece ordered the vodka chicken penne which was recommended by our server and she was very happy with it.

It was my first time going here and the restaurant is huge and lively with the 90's alternative! I had Salmon Whiskey and my husband had Philly Cheese steak we also had ring stacks and Korean boneless wings as our app. Even it was busy we just waited for 15mins and they sat us to the edge where we can see the outside ( good spot!) the server and food was really good! Highly recommend if you want to hang out with your family while listening to cool music!

Upon walking in, we got greated with such friendly enthusiast! The waiter was ok. Not bad , not good. Seem, he was more attentive to his other tables then with us. Hes was very nice, but very rarely did he come to our table. I asked for salt & pepper & took him nearly 10 min to get those two condiments for us. We only got our waters refilled once in our entire meal. So, not very satisfied with the service. The food was GREAT! My lavender drop martini was also delicious 🍸 if you haven't yet ordered, I strongly recommend that you do!

Our server Isaiah made the whole experience for us. He was a delight to have as a server. Very accommodating and kind. He even came up singing and dancing while refilling our waters. Let us sample a few to figure out what we wanted to drink and asked if we were celebrating anything. We told him not today but tomorrow yes and he surprised us with a cute Brookie. We will be returning and will definitely be asking for him! Thank you Isaiah!

Chicken Nachos: $15 Huge portions. Easily would feed two people. Waitresses were attentive. Screens all over establishment showing sporting events. Enjoyed the vibe.

You have a variety of food and drinks to choose from it is a great place to eat for dinner and to have parties with family and friends. The menu is great. It was my first time there. All around satisfied.

The food was good, I enjoyed the shiitake garlic noodles. One of our entrees came out wrong, it was not the entree that we ordered at all. By the time we got the waitress and the correct food was made and bought out (which was the least tasty dish of all, which was unfortunate after the wait), the rest of our table was done eating. The manager came over and apologized. It is extremely cold and drafty on the side near the restrooms.

Appetizer are the best! Specially during happy hours (Mon-Fri, 3-6pm) because they are half prize and added that they have lots of selection. Personally, my favorites are calamari, Korean beef, and Nachos!. Our last visit here we try there hard cider guava flavor and we like it, but they have lots of variates of alcoholic drinks! This is one of our hangout or date night place!

We were able to be seated (5) when we arrived. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu ( food & ales). The food came out in a timely fashion ( appituzers & main dish). The parking was not bad, we parked in the garage right beside the restaurant. Fyi, this is a restaurant, not a hotel!

Yard House is located in Virginia Beach in Town Center on Commerce Street. Great location near the Sandler Center and awesome Westin hotel. Neat restaurant for social gatherings. Yard House has lots of great menu options to please everyone. I was so indecisive about the great menu options, the bartender helped me with my choice. I ordered the Spicy Jambalaya. The Spicy Jambalaya was delicious 😋 ❗️There are so many great menu options I can hardly wait to try next. The only negative comment is the music is too loud in here. I would recommend Yard House to others.

It was an odd Easter for sure... Nachos for dinner! The restaurant was freezing - we never removed our coats! The music was far too loud for a Sunday afternoon - hard to have a conversation. Service was okay - drinks were slow to get, unless you ordered from the table device. The food was good. Was especially pleased to see a few vegetarian options, as opposed to one at most places. The nachos were far too soggy with chili, but a beautiful presentation. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will return.

I want to Yard House with a couple of coaches after a lacrosse tournament. I am a fan of Yard House. They have a wide variety of food options that are high quality. Usually when you have a restaurant that sells a lot of different food options they all tend to be mediocre, that is not the case with Yard House. My group had a good time. Our waiter was spirited and informative. We got in right before the dinner rush. We spent about 2 hours there. Personally, I try the blackened shrimp taco in addition to the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. The sandwich was delicious be roasted peppers really surprise me (in a good way) and the taco was fire. They have a ton of great options on tap. Overall, I really enjoyed my spares at Yard House.

We arrived around 10:30 on a Monday night. One usually doesn't expect great food options at this time of night and probably not the freshest food. We had fresh, tasty, and correct temp entrees. They serve a blue cheese hamburger here. Two in our party tried this item, and both really enjoyed it. I had the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. It was juicy and tasty. The other fish sandwich entree was also enjoyed. You get good value for price for quality here. The dining room is roomy, clean, and modern. Everyone working here was friendly and helpful. There's TV monitors thru out catering to sports. There's a full bar with plenty of beer options. They are family-friendly but a great place to just hang out with a group of friends.

Clean, fun atmosphere, large beer and drink selection. Although 3 of my first choice beer were not available due to shortage it didn’t keep the visit from being amazing. Great food, amazing service from staff. The food was also really good and neatly plated. We had a trainee server and she honestly did an amazing job for her second day. Overall wonderful experience. The wait was only about 8 minutes and I went at around 4:00 pm. Will definitely be back.

First impression didn't start out so well. We ended up waiting eight mins for our waiter to come take our drink order. Once we got past that, it got better. I had the pineapple and guava cider. Between those, the guava was definitely better (even if you like pineapple more, as I do). The Korean cheese steak sandwich meal was great. The red sauce has a little spice to it but I got it on the side so I could dip my fries in it. The filet was very tender and had a 'grilled' flavor to it. The asparagus wasn't soggy and great. The carrots were severally undercooked but would be good if they were almost raw. The man-n-cheese was also good. The noodles were cooked perfectly so it was soupy. The Rookie dessert is very filling and would be best with a cup of coffee or milk. Service was decent but the food was great.

I had the nachos and the and lobster garlic noodles and both with delicious. The drinks were also great. I had a jack and coke and Smokey old fashioned. I'm only giving this restaurant 4 stars so that they stay on their toes and continue the good work. My server was Alyssa who was an absolute sweetheart and a lot of help.

Great food and service! Avocado toast with whipped feta was fantastic! As were caesar salad, drinks, my Korean BBQ sub, and my wife's tacos. Cheesecake creme brûlée for dessert was unique and delicious. Would recommend!
