😠 Because my vet would not put a suffering cat down while I was present due to Covid restrictions I called Kings Park and they got me in. The Dr didn’t say one word to me. Beyond cold and disgusting at a time like this. After the first injection she gave me a minute and the nurse said the next shot is... People often mention pets, years,

Because my vet would not put a suffering cat down while I was present due to Covid restrictions I called Kings Park and they got me in. The Dr didn’t say one word to me. Beyond cold and disgusting at a time like this. After the first injection she gave me a minute and the nurse said the next shot is direct into the heart. Are you kidding me!! Would it take another second to get a vein so I wouldn’t have to witness that. She came in, found a vein and it took a few seconds. She walked out and didn’t even say a word to me. She had told me 90% of time shot is direct into the heart. In 55 years, having to put down my share of beloved pets I’ve never heard this. I surly hope they treat living beloved pets better. I would never go there again and I would never recommend. Cold, and heartless

I would give a 0 if I could. My 10 year old Maltese has been going to this vet for his whole life - he was under the weather and super groggy so we took him to the vet, she looked at him and said he had a stroke and that he will suffer another and advised we put him down. Without running any tests or doing blood work, they were so quick to tell us to put him down. We took him to another vet for a second opinion and they did thorough tests and found the only issue was that he had low blood sugar, we called kings park animal center to update them and they weren’t remorseful or sorry. They were quite rude when we suggested they be more careful when advising to put down pets. I will not be taking my dog back and highly suggest other pet owners steer clear of this terrible place.

Awful experience. I have a shih tzu who is very tough to groom due to prior bad experience at a petsmart. This place would provide sedation, the first time around, I have zero complaints but I just took my baby yesterday, 4/8/2022 and when picking him up, I was not mentioned that during the process, he was injured. I tipped the groomer and left and on the block of the location, noted my poor babies eye! I was livid. I contacted the place and the front desk told me that the groomer had mentioned something about redness. This is a member to my family and I spent the remainder of the day, I was panicking, I called and left a message for immediate call back. The vet calls to tell me that he “may” have been hurt while sedated and that she clearly explained to the groomer that she had to tell me, she DID NOT. I was told to continue to monitor his eye and now the worried person is me, while they enjoy their weekend! Unprofessional and no compassion at all! They will be sued for any accrued visits following this! And it’s not about the money, because I would anything and everything to have my baby healthy

I literally just took my kitten willow there after she was spayed and vaccinated from another vet and her being sick for a week afterwards and the veterinarian there was fantastic. I really truly felt as she had a genuine interest in the well being of my cat and advised me to not rush into blood work and allow her time to heal on her own since what I described could be signs of her getting better. I greatly appreciate the honesty rather than trying to do a procedure just to gain money. I will be using this animal hospital for all my animal health needs from now on.

It's the only vet I will go to, Dr Ley has been my vet for many years and is so good with my babies. She is very professional yet very caring and the absolute best!!

Dr. Ley is an expert veterinarian and goes the extra mile for her patients. My family has used her practice for over 40 years. My wife and I like her staff and grooming service as well.

Took my dog for her first visit after moving to the area. Dr. Ley was very thorough and explained everything going on, using displays and drawing depictions to help us better understand. She was very gentle during the examination and while administering vaccines. We were very happy with the visit and will continue to come for all our vet needs.

I have been bringing my pets to Dr. Ley for over 20 years now. There is no question she and her staff are caring, compassionate and professional. When my small dog would get her annual shots, Dr. Ley would prescribe pain medication for her so that she would not feel the after effects of the injection. When some of my dogs had health issues, Dr. Ley was forthright and honest about what the problems could be and what the available treatment plans were. When my mother was alive and would bring the dogs to see Dr. Ley, Kim would always bring a chair into the exam room so that she did not have to stand while the dog was being examined. Dr. Ley has always treated my pets with care, respect and kindness. I have no reservations in recommending KPAH to anyone who is seeking a vet to care for their pets.

Have gone to this practice for many years now with my pets. Vet is a very compassionate person. Can't wait for its new location to open in Kings Park. Thank you for taking great care for my dogs all these years.
