Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍👍 Beautiful trail to experience nature! We saw several different birds and enjoyed viewing the spring flowers. However if you go here, def come prepared for tick safety! We pulled about ten of them off of our clothes after exiting the trail. People often mention trail,

Been wandering around the trails and waters edge here for years. Very peaceful. Lots of deer, you can hear lots of owls at dusk...

This is a great walk/drive through bird sanctuary. Go often through the year to see the bird migrations. Go early! Road can be busy with birders. Be prepared for the bugs. You are in a marsh area. Nice breezy days are best. Donation is recommended as you pull up to the drive through section. If you are patient you can see many different species of birds and water fowl. Including turtles and fish. There are many trails for hiking. See my comments below about dogs. I'm a dog lover but not when I'm trying to get the perfect shot and they scare the birds. My vote, stay on the hiking trails with dogs and CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. Humans pick up your trash! Locals will call you out if they see you disrespecting the area.

It's a nice trail, but you should avoid it if it's hotter that 75 degrees or so. We went on a hike in July, and although the trail was great, it was very buggy. My wife tried to run straight out after the insect onslaught began. I think it would be lovely in the Spring or Fall.

Very nice trail. Very easy with virtually no elevation change, making it good for beginners or people who might have joint problems or something like that. On top of that, there are lots of cool things to see - even in February when there isn't a ton of life out and about. Highly recommended.

Watch out for the bugs, if the wind is right. Otherwise, the trail starts our like any other, very unimpressive. Once you get near the water the views are amazing. Definitely 5 star. Great for dogs. Just keep them on a leash and cleanup after them

Wonderful walking trail flatwide terrain. I do go with my dog and we stay on the trail for dogs. It can be a bit hot so early is always better. If you're walking your dog make sure you have plenty of water and your dog is on a leash. We only do a 1.5 miles but I believe the trail we are on is a 4 mile loop. There is a little bit of shade. At times it can be very buggy but recently it has been wonderful. Enjoy your walk and the beautiful scenery.

A beautiful day with nature. So quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds to see. Nice view. Great place to unwind and take a break. A perfect local place to spend an afternoon alone or with the family.

GPS leads to a entrance where someone built a mansion and out up "Private Property" signs.
