I had an absolutely amazing experience with LOH Outfitters. They are a first class operation through and through. My guide Andre and the owner Matt were both great guys and super fun to be around. I was grateful to get an opportunity on a great bull with them and capitalize. I would definitely recommend LOH and would love to go back at some point.

I booked with LOH because I read and loved their mission statement, love of the hunt. I was unsuccessful in drawing so I purchased a 1-on-1 forfeit landowner tag at a discounted price that ended up costing roughly $2k over advertised. This was a once in a lifetime hunting opportunity for me. I dreamed of spotting and chasing trophy bulls but spent almost my entire time sitting in a ground blind. My first day we glassed the ranch for a few hours seeing nothing but three cows and spent the next seven hours in a ground blind. My second day I had to go out with another group because I didn’t have a guide and spent 12 hours in ground blinds not seeing anything. My third day was more of the same only after shooting light I saw four smaller bulls but it was too dark to see through the provided muzzleloader sights and after legal shooting. I reported my event to the guides at the house that night and the next morning the other group hunting the ranch took my info and went to sit exactly where I spotted the bulls, I ended up unknowingly walking up on them. The fourth day I spent 9 hours sitting at a ground blind not seeing anything and did the same my last day. Overall the hunt was very disappointing. The advertised 90% shot opportunity wasn’t accurate in the camp I was in with only one hunter having an opportunity the entire week. My guides and cook were nice and upbeat.

I had an another great and successful hunt with LOH. Everything was amazing and well planned. I hunted with Dylan and he was very top notch. He was very prepared and great to hunt along side with! I was grateful to get a great speed goat on the second day!

I just finished a Barbary Sheep hunt with LOH Outfitters. Trips like these take teamwork, dedication, and people who are just as passionate to hunt as you are. From the first minute of our hunt to the hours packing sheep off the mountain in the dark on the last day these guys never gave less than 100%. They truly love sheep hunting. Dylan Baca was our guide. He knows the area better than I could have ever imagined. I WILL hunt with these guys again. A little advice for people looking at the Barbary sheep hunt, know that you will put in long hard days leaving before dark and getting back well after sunset, expect long walks 5+ miles per day and steep hills, shoot your rifle and expect 400 yards or further for your shot opportunity, trust these guides and wait for a mature ram. I had a wonderful experience hunting with LOH Outfitters. My guide Isaac was awesome, I learned more from him in my 5 days of hunting than my previous 50 years combined. His son Izzy is fantastic also. The cook Peery was top notch, every meal was five star, best ever. Booking the hunt with Matt was easy and very professional. I would highly recommend LOH to any hunter wanting to hunt big game in New Mexico.

This was my dad and I's first mule deer hunt together. We hunted Unit 32 which was right outside Artesia, NM where LOH had us staying since the unit was so far from the lodge. It was a tough hunt as we did a lot of hiking to get to the deer, however all that was explained up front before we even paid our first dollar to LOH. We have been burned by many outfitters in the past and to see the honesty we received from LOH from the start of booking all the way until we left NM was awesome! Our main point of contact was Andre and during the hunt was Lynn who were both very friendly and super professional. Brian Flores was our guide and boy did he put us on the deer! He worked very hard for us the entire week. I cannot say enough good things about LOH! My dad got to witness me shoot my first mule deer but the best part of the trip was watching him shoot one bigger than me. LOH certainly gave us a hunting memory that will last forever! Had a great time. Loh was very professional and the accommodations where top notch. They had everything under control and was extremely well ran. The food was great. Plus I got an amazing elk on my hunt which just happened to be on my birthday. Couldn't have asked for a better trip.
