Inside the restaurant, the wait staff occupied one of the tables where they sat and talked while smoking their e-cigarettes; highly unprofessional! Twice we watched customers walk inside to pay because the wait staff hadn't checked on them in so long. Since my girlfriend is Czech, she was able to understand everything that was being said and how rude the wait staff was to the customers. The wait staff also seemed annoyed that my girlfriend and I wanted to eat inside, probably because they wanted to treat the inside like their personal clubhouse (all outside tables were occupied). The prices of the food were unjustified as the flavor was mediocre and the portions too small. In case the owner actually cares, we were there for dinner on Friday, August 11. Maybe he or she can address the poor behavior of the wait staff. If you choose to visit this establishment, I hope you have a better experience than what we did.

One of the best steaks I ever ate. Chips are tasty as well. Nice place to visit with kind personal. I can only recommend. I would take 1/2 star down as they doesn't accept credit/debit cards.

Nice restaurant in the center of Sokolov. Just a bit disappointed with the staff. They seemed not to be too interested. The atmosphere and the food are great so make sure to go there.

Service was slow and unenthusiastic. Apparently it was painful to speak with us. I had to ask for a drink menu. She disappeared for about 10 minutes then returned without a menu to ask if we’d decided what to drink… But the chicken was incredibly good. I had the chicken with broccoli and corn on the cob with a side of fries. The chicken had a flavorful rub that tasted of garlic, paprika and perhaps saffron. It was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, tender and moist. The small salad was a bit sad and the fries lacked seasoning, but the rest of the meal made up a bit for that. My daughter had the chicken fingers and fries. Her fries also lacked seasoning but the chicken was tasty.

Nice and cozy place with kind service. But. Why such pub in such town with really good brewery known all around Czech Republic serves Breznak? Why not Permon? Meal had nice potatoes, tasty sauces, but beef steak was chewing challenge. Chicken and pork was really nice though. It was bit surprising that they are accepting cash only! No cards or meal vouchers.

Food unfortunately arrived on cold plates. By the time it got to the table the meat sauce was cold. Staff was lovely.

Getting the food took ages, service was pretty rude and medium steak was well done and smaller than anyone elses.
