😐 The water from the shower and bath tub was always cold. I had to shower at other rooms. The bed had bed bugs and there were no towels. I had to always to go the staff to ask for a tissue. People often mention stay,

Don't ever stay there! No towels, no toilet paper.. no hot water, couldn't shower there. Not even sure if the bedding was clean. And also no covid-19 protocols in place. Had to organize for security for the night. Just terrible..

I had trouble with my booking and Nancy took me in. She was so supportive and made me feel like I was home. She came to check on me. Tried to make up for what started off horribly. Thank you to Nancy and Tumi for running the show. God bless you guys. Please contact me if you ever need anything in Jhb.

If you are looking for accommodation that looks posh, but where things don't necessarily work as intended, this is your kind of place. Posh from a distance, but that is unfortunately where it ends. Room 13's bathroom door didn't fit in its frame. The tile work is a mess with tiles missing. The one glass side of the shower cubicle is completely missing. The TV doesn't work. In room 14, the only switch for the light of the room is behind the extra single bed in the room far away from where it can be conveniently reached. The toilet is too high and doesn't have a seat. The water from the shower head only trickles down the front of the huge, impressive peace of bling. It seems as if the idea was to build a posh (premium) lodge but that the quality of the workmanship utilised, resulted in a dysfunctional creature.

The staff and management go out of their way to ensure that customers have the best experience. This is one lodge that I hope grows in years to come.
