Very surprised to be hosted by the receptionist LEYDY CASALLAS, who in a very disrespectful way provided support with our check in. This hotel worker was not properly dressed (no tag name in the jacket, and the jacket itself looked like it was not hers) Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service at the checkout and check in. I can't believe this hotel is 5 stars rated.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. People are extremely rude, every time you talk to them or ask for something it feels like you’re annoying them and making them work. They also double charge you for drinks and food you consume. We ordered some drinks to the pool and we paid for them but at the time to check-out we discovered we were being charged again. Rooms are clean but you have to beg somebody to bring you some towels. Our mini-fridge was damaged and we tried to call to the reception with no answer because guess what? The phone didn’t work either, so we went downstairs to report the issue but it was never fixed. We stayed for a wedding and almost every guest was treated poorly. The only good thing about this hotel is that you can escape to the mall which is right next to it. Hopefully this is helpful.

The hotel is clean. The rooms are older but in good condition and comfortable. The elevators are very slow. One of the elevators didn't stop on my floor the entire time we were there. The breakfast buffet is very good. The staff is friendly. The gym is one of the better fitness centers you will see in hotels. The hotel is directly across from a large shopping center.

Good option to stay in barranquilla. Well located, near most popular shopping centers and restaurants. Be aware of what they charge from the mini bar. I was surprised they charged a shaving machine, which is complimentary in other hotels. For that I give service a 3-star.

Excellent front desk service. Delicious breakfast, and awesome customer service at breakfast time. Good room service. Nice ambience. Restaurants, mall centers, easy acces to taxis, and even a hospital close to the hotel. Very pleased with Dann Carlton Hotel.

Overall good. Room was large and the King bed very comfortable. Well located with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Revolving restaurant at the top was disappointing, with a poor view and below average food. The hotel is old and could use some painting and renovations.

Horrible experience from day one. They messed up my reservation, got 2 rooms in different towers, and during check out I got a surprise bill. THEY CONSIDERED ANYBODY ABOVE 10 YEARS OF AGE AS AN ADULT so they charged me for my daughters even more. Not coming back ever.

First time checking out Ritz Carlton's long lost 3 star cousin Dann Carlton. Great location right across from the Buena Vista Mall with big rooms, pretty good breakfast with chicken wings! Nice pool and a really good hotel gym that I was able to get a good full body pump in. Service was also solid. I prefer staying in the Alto Prado area verses the Buena Vista area as it has more character and better restaurants. OVERALL: 4.4 Rooms: 4.4 Amenties: 4.5 Service: 4.5 Location: 4.3 Breakfast: 4.5

- the only hotel I have stayed at for over 40 years where you pay more for almond milk- also no water in the room when I arrived and paid 10.000 upon arrival for two bottles of water ! Waited for 30 mins to check in - room service staff very friendly and a nice atmosphere - good gym and pool - nice breakfast

The price is just right, the food for breakfast is so, so delicious and the service is beyond, way beyond description. You are literally treated like a king 🤴. I would say the best place to stay on the earth. At least the one in Barranquilla.

I don’t think there is Hotel in Barranquilla with a better location than Hotel Dann Carlton. Right in front of 3 wonderful shopping centers (spectacular), in a good neighborhood, next to great restaurants, close to everything. Staff is very kind and professional. The only bad thing during my stay was that the Colombian Soccer National Team was also staying, so we were not allowed to use the pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, etc, because it was exclusive for the players. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have any problem with the team staying at the hotel. What bothered me a bit was that first they notified me just 1 week before (too late to change the reservation) my arrival and second they charged me full rate without any type of consideration, which did not seem fair to me. I tried to talk with the manager to reconsider the rate but instead they charged me extra because my son stayed with me in a two beds suite that I have reserved and prepaid. Despite that, it is still a good hotel to stay in Barranquilla.

The worst hotel I stay in Colombia if you request something they ask why I request 2 towels they ask me why 2 if only one person stays in the hotel also I forgot my key when they replaced they ask me I need to give back 2 keys when I check out

Horrible experience. Upon check in on a tuesday night there was a Huge event the music was so loud, the floor shook. I went to the lobby they thought the party ended but kept going on for an hour. Check in staff is extremely rude. Everyone is. Upon check out lady was asking where my third key was acting like she was attempting to charge me for it.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. The place is old and outdated, the bathrooms are dirty and not functional. The front desk staff made us wait 3 hours to get a room key, did not tell us about amenities and was not polite. During our stay, my daughters Christmas gift was stolen. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

A new hotel in what seems to be a nice a neighborhood. Service is good and staff are friendly. Checking in requires boat load of paperwork but that s the process everywhere. The rooms are wood floor which makes it a little echo sounding but nothing to stop you from sleeping in. I also had a maintenance issue which they resolved with a staff of 2 within minutes of the request. 🥂👍🇨🇴

This place has improved immensely over the years. The food was always good, but now it is spectacular. The BEST crème brulee outside of Paris.

Hotel tried to charge me and my colleague water and biscuits from the room. No courtesi water in the room or tissues in the room.

Super nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and the location is excellent with three luxury malls right across the street. The hotel has two pools, one at lobby level and one on the roof.
