Don't be fooled by breakfast it is ALWAYS cold and the eggs are ALWAyS runny. DO NOT waste your money on free breakfast I promise you it is HORRIBLE. The room floors need to be re grouted it looks dingy and the showers are dirty from water build up

The place is okay however they really need to modernize the rooms. Hallway and our bedroom smells like mold.

Loved this hotel, the colors were bright and bright your spirits up and the pool was amazing. An infinity pool over looking a city park. The breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Near one of the biggest malls called Buena Vista which had one of the most amazing eating areas. This is a must try. Hotel also provides alot of taxi's for guest to use.

A family hotel to enjoy the beautiful Barranquilla. Clean and always spotless hotel. Breakfast is included with the international - local flavors. Great location, close to shopping malls, restaurants and other attractions. Swimming pool area is amazing. The room service dishes are out of this world. The food flavors and combinations will feel you up with joy and satisfaction. Will you HGI, but we will come back.

The Hilton Garden Inn Barranquilla left little to be desired from this great hotel company. Being a Hilton Honors member I expected more from this hotel. While the staff (except for 2 people in particular-see below) was very attentive to us, there just seemed to be some issues that affected our stay. The first thing was that while our room was ready- it wasn't cleaned very well. It was dirty in fact. Seems as if the housekeeping staff brooms everything under the bed. The safe was locked (but security came up and fixed it right away for us- again the staff was excellent). The bedspread had rips in it from being overwashed (instead of just replacing it)and there was a random toothbrush under the sink. Now we weren't sure whether that was for cleaning or someone left it there. There was a hole in the wall behind the door and in the bathroom door too. Also, because there were 3 of us staying in the room, the staff didn't leave sheets for the sofa bed. Sebastian quickly resolved that issue for us. The front desk staff- Sebastian and Maria Jose were great to deal with, the servers at the Garden Grille and Bar were great too-specifically Jhon and Juan. This hotel is close by the mall area-Buena Vista Commercial Center-Barranquilla and can be easily reached by a quick walk. There is a pool on the 3d floor that closes at 6pm (on the weekdays and 9 on weekends- but the sign on the wall says otherwise). There is food and beverage service at the pool (provided by the Garden Grille) but the server wasn't world-class. As a matter of fact, she asked for a bigger tip- which was a bit much. She said they don't get their 10%tips and was trying to get us to give more than the standard 10%tip added to the bill- which is standard across the board. The bellman at the door asked for a larger tip too- which I thought was a bit forward. I rated this hotel a 3 because I expected more from Hilton. I've stayed at other HGI before in the US and have given far better reviews. The next time we travel to Colombia we will think twice about staying at a Hilton hotel because of this one stay.

Great location!! Staff very friendly helpful always treat me wonderful. Groceries next to hotel also small casino next and mall 5 min away with million restaurants!! Love the Hilton Blue Garden!!!

Friendly staff, very helpful. Some rooms have a slight mildew smell. Next door to a Casino, Grocery store and Gym. One block from the Biggest Shopping Mall in the city and many restaurant options and several night clubs. Pricey but delicious restaurant in the hotel.

Having stayed at Hilton Garden Inn for three nights, I think it is fair to comment that it is a decent hotel for a few-day stay. My room at the 7th floor got a good view, and was nice and clean. The AC system worked just well. Breakfast was a bit below my expectations from a four star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for late check out and the lady at the front desk granted me right a way. Overall, a nice experience.

Very affordable double rooms. Staff is more than great. Taxis available at entrance door. Buffet style included breakfast. Small Casino and Supermarket across a walkway. Great!

We have stayed here the last 5 trips and it is a must when visiting Barranquilla. The staff is so friendly and caring. They really get to know you and go out of their way for you. The rooms are always clean, the food is amazing, the near by activities are also great such as the mall, casino, and restaurants. The front desk and food service staff are out of this world. We love Ana Carolina, John, Alan, Juan Carlos, and the rest of the crew! You are family when you are staying here!

Nice spacious rooms. Great location. Front desk staff was great especially Anna carolina. Only complaint was not enough pillows and breakfast was very basic and at times tasteless

I rarely stay at Hilton properties but chose this one because of the Hilton name and reputation. That was a mistake. We had several problems with a strong mildew smell in the room. After mentioning it and being changed to another room with the same issue we just gave up. In the restaurant we ordered a wine on the menu but it was substituted for something entirely different without us being told. After the first glass we knew it was not right but were told they did not have what we ordered and were not offered any refund or exchange. The shower was good. On future trips too Barranquilla I will definitely being someplace else.

Solid Hilton Garden Inn. Clean and comfortable, with a decent breakfast in spite of the Covid restrictions. Friendly and accommodating staff. Perfect for my 2 1/2 day business stay in Barranquilla.

The hotel was best I stayed in in Colombia yet. The room service is very attentive. The room I got was huge with a nice view. The beds are comfortable. Laundry service offered was great and did good job. Only bad thing was I was double charged for the laundry. But I complained about this abd they quickly removed it. I gladly paid abd told them I’d stay over again next trip. They casino attached to the hotel us luxurious. The bar there is very relaxing and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Very recommended for this hotel.
