Very disappointed with this hotel over all(it is my own personal experience/opinions). first of all, we did not get sufficient information about all the facilities and the check in already took us more than one hour, this does not feel like a five star hotel. this hotel is full of people everywhere and the room is so confused, so easy to get lost. (The management team please have a better training with the staff and better organize, an hotel app for example) Secondly, There are many restaurants which is nice, but we always have to wait(sometimes more than 40min), some restaurants only accept reservations(the staff told us that two restaurants is fully booked the whole week! How can we know that we need to make reservations before hand which is unacceptable and very disappointed!) Thirdly, the hotel don’t have wine list or any other exclusive choices of drinks to pair the food( compare to other hotel). Well, the good point is that the hotel and park are very big and there are lots of things to do and see of course, most of the staff are quite nice and friendly. After all, to be hones, I don’t think I will come back and won’t recommend to people, who expecting good value and high quality of food and service, please take a serious consideration! In the end, we still like Mexico and we hope we can enjoy the holiday for the next few days.

My wife and I travel to Mexico every year, we usually stay at 4.5 or 5 star place and are often disappointed. This is the first real 5 star resort we have stayed at. Food is often great but occasionally average. 5 stars for cleanliness. Several theme parks are included and transportation saving you approximately $200 US per day per person. 5 stars for staff as they genuinely want to make you happy and often go above and beyond. 5 stars for atmosphere. Amazing so much to see and do! 5 stars for the room. Comfortable bed and pillows, amazing views, daily treats, beautiful rain shower bathroom, separate toilet. 4 stars for room service food. Not enough variety, (had a sad sandwich, wife's dinner was not hot) but staff was friendly, food was timely. Overall great experience, so much to explore, always a deck chair available somewhere (not comfortable, but available). Staff enforces mask use and temperature check at every restaurant and when walking through the resort. Be sure to say hi to Rafael the manager at Mercado, he made us feel like rock stars.

I went with my mother from May 2 to May 6, 2022, and it was spectacular. We loved everything. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The service was exceptional, all the staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant's food was delicious. The transportation was very convenient and on time. I felt safe all the time. The only problem was that the Hotel is huge and we didn't have the chance to see all, now we cannot wait to be able to come back

This is one of the best places I have ever visited. I can't think of one negative thing that happened during our stay. It was paradise. I usually like trying new things but I cant wait to come back here. Its been over a year and I still tell people about this place. Our room was the best too. Even though everyday was fun filled, we couldn't wait to get back to our room to kick back and relax. I have never had room service as good as this place too. The food on the room service menu was delicious but the service awesome. They came and set up our table like if we were down in one of the restaurants. We stayed at another "all inclusive resort" and they literally just placed the food tray on the table and left the room. Not this Xcaret, service with a smile and no pressure to tip. Which we did gladly since the staff worked so hard to make sure our staff was enjoyable and memorable. There is so much to do at this place, we could see it all during out four day stay. We will go again.

I love this place and we will definitely go back. I would advise though that being a member does not come with that many benefits, but mostly limitations. We joined as members only to find out that it limited our room selection, which hotel we could stay at and how often we could visit. We joined thinking it was necessary to stay there, but it's not. It's not even a savings. Booking through a travel site incurs the booking fees which are high, but they are not equal to the cost of membership. Membership does get you into Sunday Brunch for free, but the cost is again not equivalent to the cost of membership, so if that's important to you, you could still go, pay for it and save money. The sales attempts are very aggressive and inefficient. They are also never as long as they suggest. Our first (in which we bought in) was supposed to be 90 minutes, but tied up 8 hours of our day. The second (the check-up) was supposed to be 60 minutes, but was 2 hours. They require that you go to breakfast, even if you've already been. They go through all of the steps even if you don't hear what you need to hear. In short, the membership you are buying into is about access and prestige, whereas I thought it was about savings. At this point and with my experience, I cannot recommend membership. Although, our concierge was wonderful and kept in contact with us for several days even after checkout. I do highly recommend staying at this resort. There's nothing like it and they really treat you well. I would avoid the sales pitch though, unless you want the gift that they will give you for attending. But be ware, if you don't buy in, they will drop you like a hot potato.

If I could give no stars I would. The hotel is beautiful but there service has been absolutely horrible. Came for my wedding and have been treated so rude by multiple staff. We have multiple family staying at the resort and the service has varied significantly. When approaching concierge and the front desk about the issues multiple staff pushed off giving excuses and no solution. When paying more than $1000 a night I would expect much better. We’ve stayed in multiple all inclusive all around Mexico multiple being half the price and the service much much much better. Take your money and run far far far away!

This place is AMAZING! I’d caution you about going on their tour of the facility, though. It’s kind of like a time share sales pitch…and boy are they aggressive. The tour is said to only be a couple hours long but that is NOT TRUE. If you accept, prepare to be there the entire day. Also, if they’re able to convince you to buy their membership, on your next stay, you are REQUIRED TO GO TO ANOTHER PRESENTATION. So be prepared to lose yet another day on you second vacation. Other than this major inconvenience, the place was absolutely great. All parks are included. Safe transportation to and from the airport. This was the only place in Mexico that I ate to my heart’s content and didn’t get sick. If you’re looking to have some beach time, I’d recommend staying somewhere else for a couple days. For $1,000 a day, I preferred to take advantage of their other options to make it worth it. There’s SO much to do. You won’t possibly have time for everything on 1 or 2 weeklong trips. You are treated like kings and queens. The only reason for not giving the 5 stars was due to their aggressive sales pitch on the tour, but to be honest, I should’ve known better.

I can’t say enough great things about this resort! There are tons of pools to swim in, a beautiful little beach, delicious restaurants, and of course the staff is top notch. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable, if you need anything else, and have a great attitude and are so polite and kind. The rooms and spacious and comfortable, and the decor is beautiful - most of it made by Mexican artisans. The nature surrounding this place is beautiful, you really feel connected with nature when you stay here! All in all it was definitely a 5 star experience, I could go on and on about this resort but I will just leave you with this: come visit Xcaret and I guarantee you will have a memorable stay. My family and I are so excited to come back!

Very dope hotel and most likely will visit soon! This all inclusive hotel has the usual amenities: a buffet or food stand that serves delicious food good food for most of the day (shout out to their burgers 🍔, way better than typical resort food), air conditioned and comfortable temperature controlled rooms with daily refillable toiletries, and a very hospitable staff with top notch customer service! This is one of the resorts worth staying in for a few days. The views and pictures you'll take will be phenomenal

Not cheap, but worth every penny. This resort will ruin it for other vacations you may take. What you get in adventures or new experiences, service, and quality of dining is 5 stars. The fact that it's all inclusive is great, but you feel the need to tip a lot because the service and attention you get is so great.

We had the pleasure of visiting hotel Xcaret in 2020 before the pandemic. It has been a dream to go back, that we were finally able to make a reality. We had quite high expectations due to an amazing first experience here in 2020. Unfortunately, hotel Xcaret did not come close to previous standards they set. We were treated very well on our first trip here, staff was so kind, food was exceptional, rooms were very well kept, etc. This trip was not the same. The staff was not very kind overall, they were not appreciative of tips, it was seen as an expectation. The rooms were not as clean, and we had to have housekeeping come and change our sheets on night one because of all the stains on the bedding. The food was still very good, but the overall experience was just not the same. I would also like to add, that the resort is very busy. Lineups for breakfast at the buffet, have to get to the pool very early to get a seat. Our room was down the hall from the lobby and by the elevator, and it was very very noisy. We celebrated our honeymoon here, thinking we would be coming back time and time again, but after this experience, we won’t be coming back.

I had a five diamond experience both times I went. I've been in 2018 and 2019. We stayed at the hotel and had the best Inclusive Adventure. It's not like regular resorts that give you credits. They actually include multiple park passes! Snorkel, swim, explore, hike, bike, raft, zip line, bird line, speed boat, rope lines, choose from multiple restaurants, dinner shows, drinks, and so much more. We bought the added photo package for the parks so we got the hotel shots for free. Every photo you see is actually on the resort!

Such an enjoyable experience. There were ample staff that seemed so genuinely happy to be of service to their guests. Calling down for room service was a bit slow (they hadn't cleaned our room one day late afternoon, so we called down to have someone come up), but they do fine work. The grounds were very clean. The pools were beautiful, and the food was very good. I would certainly recommend Xcaret Arte.

Check in process was an absolute nightmare that left my wife in tears before the vacation even started. The lobby supervisor, Lisette, has to be one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in a customer service setting. We are very easy going, polite people and were appalled at how spiteful and passive aggressive a person can be. We arrived at noon and were told our room would be ready at approximately 2pm, when we returned at 3pm the time had now changed to later than 5pm wasting our entire day. We were told that no rooms are guaranteed at Xcaret, that that the only thing available was a wet pull-out couch for our kids to sleep on instead of the double queen we booked. We paid approximately $13,000 for travel and flight for our kids to sleep on a pull out couch with a hard bar running through it for the duration of our vacation with Lisette basically threatening to prolong our check-in after waiting 3+ hours for the room we booked 8 months ago. By far the worst hotel experience we've ever had anywhere. The parks were a lot of fun, but I'd stay somewhere else.

After staying here no other hotel will ever do. I loved how welcomed they made us feel. I love how they made sure we had an excellent experience in everything they had to offer. I loved how everything is clean and how everyone made sure we were always satisfied with whatever we needed. And even though this may sound weird when rating a hotel I really love and appreciate that they are echo friendly. If you have the opportunity visit Cancun stay here, you will not regret it!

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff worked hard to keep things clean and tidy. While the grounds could be hard to navigate, there was always a staff member who would be glad to help point you in the right direction. My wife and I loved exploring the property but it may be sort of tough if you have any physical limitations. The access to the parks also made this resort a must since they were included. We went to 4 parks and found something we loved at each one. Would gladly recommend this resort to friends.

Great hotel for family. We been to this hotel almost every year since my honeymoon in 2017 and now with our two kids. My family really enjoy it and love the parks and all the activities the hotels has to offer. We have noticed that over the years it’s been losing its charm, their service is slowly decreasing, along with the quality of their food. Things have improved, like their transportation to and from the airport, also to and from their parks. The checkin has been better as you can now check in during the transport from the airport. Overall this is a great place.

Truly a 5 star experience! From the moment you walk in you are treated incredibly well. You can tell that the staff takes pride in their work and are always happy to help. They are also committed to safety and are seen cleaning and disinfecting very frequently. The food....AMAZING! All of the buffets, restaurants and snack areas are delicately curated with mexico's delicious cuisine. We indulged in the all inclusive pass so all if the food, drinks (at the hotel and at the parks) were included. This vacation was a perfect. mix for our family because we were able to explore all the parks worry and hassle free as well as relax in the hotel.

I booked a stay at Xcaret hotel with my family which was valid for 1 year from purchase. At that time, we were told that we would need to pay around $300 more for our child at the time of reservation. When I tried to make the booking, they quoted $700 for my child, but then brought it down to $500 but did not send payment link - asked me to speak to US customer support instead. That number does not work so I immediately emailed them back. Suddenly, they say that my dates (which are 7 months from now) are completely booked and that all supervisors are busy in a 'meeting' and cannot talk to me to resolve this. The dates are available online. This just seems like a pathetic way to harass someone who has already paid almost $2000. My visit to park last year was excellent and I thought I would get a similar level of service from the hotel but I was obviously wrong. I have spent the last 4 hours on a working day trying to resolve this. When selling us the package, you told us all about your immense capacity and stellar service. Now not even 1 supervisor from your entire organization is available to speak to me? Never seen worse customer service Xcaret. I hope someone will get back to me about this because right now it seems like I will lose a lot of money because I made the mistake of believing you.

Got left in rain storm because no one told us boat service did not run during rain. Only reason we had even taken the boat was because the concierge recommended we do so since our room that was supposed to be ready at 3 was only ready at 5. We had to walk the entire way back and got lost twice. Once back, the front desk person we spoke to refused to get a manager. Then he said he only would if we told him what was wrong and when I told him he scoffed and said it didn't seem like a problem. Finally when he got a manger, the person was not apologetic and didn't offer any help at all. Both our phones got broken in the rain because of this. Our room should have been ready at 3 and if it was we wouldn't have even been in a situation of being left in the rain. Also, when we changed rooms my wife left a few things in the bathroom accidentally. We notified housekeeping within ten minutes of being in the new room yet they somehow couldn't find any items left. All three items were very expensive and we are convinced the housekeeping stole them. The hotel did not care at all. For the amount of money we paid for the junior suite we had we would have expected far better service and care. We stayed at 4 hotels during our trip and the service at Xcaret was by far the worst. Also, the inlet river is dirty and the water very gross in my opinion and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was lacking.

We are very satisfied with the overall services provided by Xcaret, and we would gladly give a rating of five. However, we still have two suggestions for improvement. Firstly, regarding the reservation of the return shuttle bus, most visitors, after checking out, would head to the airport to catch their flights. The hotel has provided great convenience by offering a complimentary shuttle bus to the airport, but forgetting to make a reservation can cause significant inconvenience for both parties. We are certain that we were not informed about the need to reserve the return shuttle in advance, and we almost missed the bus to the airport. It would be beneficial if the hotel could consider improving the process by assisting guests with the reservation of the return shuttle bus during check-in. Additionally, if any step is missed, a reminder email could be sent to the guests. Secondly, the height of the urinal in both the hotel and the park is not child-friendly. Most of the urinal are designed according to adult height, making it difficult for some adults not high, let alone children. We hope that Xcaret can adjust one or two urinal to provide a better experience for these guests.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. The best all-inclusive hotel I've ever visited. EVERYTHING is great! Food, drinks and hospitality are #1. Although it's extra, I would recommend the brunch. So much to choose from. The Resort is so large, we didn't get a chance to see everything. Excursions are included with just a reservation. See you next year Xcaret!

This sprawling resort left me impressed! The rooms were a dream – spacious, comfy beds, a dreamy balcony, and even a relaxing hammock to unwind in. The service was equally stellar, with Slyvia at Mercado restaurant charming me with her big smile and sweetness. La Playa's food was a real highlight, bursting with flavor. There was only one snag: the noise! Loud hallway conversations woke us up thrice a night – better soundproofing is definitely needed. If you're planning park-hopping sprees, this resort could be your haven. But for those seeking beach bliss and budget-friendliness, sticking with Cancun might be wise.

Stayed here 5 nights very pricey for what you get. A lot of time wasted from the beginning, 1 hr to check in then someone wants to talk to you about your Itinerary and tell you everything after you have your entire airport, flight, and drive to have to wait an hr to check in then to speak to you about plans like just take me to a room. Which most likely wasn’t ready because of last minute switches were done by them. A lot of information is thrown at you all at once. Food at hotel are ok nothing out of the ordinary I wasn’t amazed by anything seem like traditional dishes a lot the restaurants were far apart from each other and have different times when they are serving food or closed. You need a map at all times and a schedule at all times for everything if not you will be wasting a lot of time walking, rooms and hotel were clean decent sized stayed beach front not really worth it to be honest but up to you there. Everything is opposite side of the hotel if you plan on taking kids or going to other parks probably not the best section to be at. I wasn’t wowed so I hope this helps with making your purchase I probably won’t ever come back. Also if you plan on going on a family trip and you have kids make sure they are all 5+ or older they will not have that many activities to do at the parks literally just a stressful hotel stay and you will be exhausted from all the walking you will do, and rent the strollers if you didn’t take one you won’t regret it. I will also leave reviews for for the parks I did visit.

Xcaret is a dream overlooking the Yucatan peninsula. Everything about the hotel property is an adventure. We visited for a "membership" meeting that they insisted wasn't timeshare. Everyone was nice and we ultimately said no, but they were still friendly and honored their promotional offering of breakfast and $200. The price for membership is very high, but I must say, their offerings were much better than similar presentations in the past.

Overall it's a mega resort with lots of potential positives. Customer service is the reason for the 3 stars. With what you pay and what you get back it is very disappointing. My daughter and I were booked on one of their tour excursions and were left behind with no way of getting back but for paying a taxi close to USD 100. For the tour they provided no emergency contact number so that in case we injured or lost we could ask anyone for help. I have never been left behind on any paid tour before. I brought this up their staff and was approached by one of their managers Carmen who said it's really unfortunate it happened but it's not their concern whether we got back to their hotel safe on one of their organized tours. The least they could have done was to reimburse me for the cab fair back to the resort since they were very specific to charge us our cancellation fee if we didn't go on the tour. You are better off staying at a better resort and simply paying the day pass for their theme parks.

I can't speak highly enough about my experience! Gorgeous views, beautiful rooms, delicious food and best service I've ever experienced! When they said all-inclusive, they mean it: full access to some of the best parks, 7+ restaurants, drinks galore. I'm already planning my next trip and I haven't even checked out yet 💙 Only drawback is that the venue is not very accessible for those with mobility issues and the space is huge so there is a ton of walking required.

We had the pleasure of visiting hotel Xcaret in 2018 when it first opened. We had gone as a honeymoon couple and really truly enjoyed every aspect hotel Xcaret Mexico offered. It was a dream to go back especially now with our 3 daughters. We had quite high expectations due to an amazing first experience here in 2018. Unfortunately, hotel Xcaret did not come nowhere close to previous standards they set. We were treated very well on our first trip here, staff was so kind, food was exceptional, rooms were very well kept, etc. This trip was not the same. The staff was not very kind overall, and literally looked at you like such an inconvenience. The rooms were not as clean, and we had to have housekeeping come and change our sheets on night one because of all the stains on the bedding. Not to mention we had found two roaches on our second night. Gross 🤮. The food was still very good, but the overall experience was just not the same. I would also like to add, that the resort is very busy. They are super overcrowded and have lost the spark that made them unique. Lineups for breakfast at the buffet, have to get to the pool very early to get a seat. Not to mention if you have kids, their nanny services suck. We had ours scheduled a month I advance and they canceled on me last minute even when I had a deposit because I needed to “guarantee “that my youngest daughter was in bed by 6pm. After this experience, we won’t be coming back.

Wow!!! Everything about this place is magical!!! We stayed in the adults only section Casa Fuego. It had a private rooftop pool and bar and our view was unobstructed ocean view. You have a butler that you can text or call anytime you need anything. The restaurants and food were absolutely THE BEST food we have had at a resort. The parks and activities you can partake in are endless. There is even kayaking around the hotel in the “river”. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique and adventurous vacation.

Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it. An amazing Experience. Beautiful hotel. Great staff and service. Variety of good food and beverages. Spacious rooms and terrace. Good room service and butler service. A lot of amenities! Not enough time to enjoy all the hotel and its parks. They also offer transport shuttle service to airport and to all their parks for Free!

Amazing Resort!! This is by far the best all-inclusive resort my family and I have been to. Food, service, drinks, amenities, and not to mention transportation and access to all of their parks! Andres, Daniel, and Evelyn gave superb service. They made sure our anniversary trip was extra special. Our favorite bartenders (Fidel, Antonio, and Galo) introduced us to new drinks and made sure we had our favorites available at all times! Sunday brunch requires a reservation, and there is an extra fee, but it is 100% worth it 👌

This place is heaven on earth. The resort is amazing. Everyone is friendly and super helpful. When we were there, the resort was hosting 2 weddings plus normal travelers and it felt empty. There is so much to do around there. Plus unlimited access to all the parks. You never get bored. Trip of a lifetime.
