Not as large as the Sutton Coldfield branch, but still, it feels exactly like its sibling. I love the historic, comfy lounge interior. Its difficult to extract from it. The staff are awesome. They deliver excellent quality coffee.

Went to coffee #1 today as its one of my favourite places.The staff as always were very friendly welcoming my mum brought a white hot chocolate this was my first time trying this drink. I wasn't too keen and they very kindly topped it with coca hot chocolate power. All three members of staff couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend this coffee shop. a big shout out to Abdul, Carly, and Shell. Saturday 3rd September

Such a lovely coffee shop. Atmosphere is nice and everyone is just relaxed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Coffees and cakes are yummy... and the free coffee granules for the garden are fabulous.

Okay as a vegan it’s rare to find a selection of plant based food and drinks such as this in Birmingham. I took my laptop to work and this is where the 5th star has gone: the lack of sockets I could have forgiven but the poor Wi-Fi in this day and age is unforgivable, there is a Lounge pub down the road where the Wi-Fi is always strong.

Friendly service we had a really warm welcome and it tasted absolutely amazing and we will definitely be coming back. We had the chai latte and the mint choc frappe and they are options we will pick again.

Only ever had takeaway coffee but a good quick friendly service (even when busy) and delicious coffee. Always seems popular and cosy but quite low ceilings could be loud for some. Haven't asked but taken dog into order and take out while on a walk. Which is better than some places that shall not be named. Cakes look delicious but not tried.

Absolutely appalling hygiene when I visited here! Dirty tables, nothing was cleared away. Toilets were disgraceful, wee all over the floor & damaged toilets! Won’t be going in here again, it’s a worry what the hygiene is like for the food & rest of the place!

Great coffee yooo👀 would say best coffee on high steet. Great service (staff are great!) I normally get a Vanilla Latte. I've tried 90% of their coffees and their Vanilla Latte superb😌

After a disappointing welcome/turned away from gorilla ended up here. Friendly staff and quick service. The chap at the till advised me that an item I was ordering not suitable for vegetarians which was a pleasant surprise. Coffee and orange brownie hit the spot!

This is a nice place to come to for a meeting, hang out with your friends or just to be by yourself. The surroundings are calming and relaxing and the music is not to load. The only thing is the variety of coffee is the same as every other commercial coffee shop I've been to and it tastes the same to. The staff are nice, professional and some do make conversation as they serve you.

Prices are reasonable and atmosphere very chilled, but the best thing is the staff, they are always friendly and helpful. Definitely the best of the many coffee joints in the area!

Iv become a regular here especially mon-fri after iv finished work and no point in me going home but im glad iv got somewhere to go where i feel comfortable and not worry about paying stupid prices, coffe 1 is reasonably priced and o actually prefer there coffee too costa. I love how friendly the staff are, the drink and food and atmosphere is just chilled 😌 👌🏼

Honestly, best coffee ever! Also there cakes are amazing (lotus cheese cake & caramel cheese cake you have to try!) BUT most of all, the staff are just the loveliest! ALWAYS so friendly & welcoming to us!

A coffee Chain serving great quality coffee. The staff are extremely friendly and the quality of coffee was really good. Was nice to be able to have two different options of coffee blend. The seating is really comfortable and nice relaxed atmosphere. It is great that they serve a gluten-free and dairy free cake option ( black currant crumble ) and lots of other gluten-free and and vegetarian options. Would be great if they had more options for gluten and dairy free or vegan cakes/biscuits. Was served very quickly and service with a smile. Will definitely be visiting her again. Thanks

My local lunchtime haunt! The staff are fantastic and we always have a chat if they're not too busy. The atmosphere is great, with comfortable chairs and enjoyable music. The food is tasty, the drinks are (in my opinion) the best in Kings Heath, and the prices are reasonable. I'd always pick Coffee #1 over anywhere else to spend my lunch break.

Absolutely amazing staff and very nice place for a hot chocolate. They even cater for vegan ( My lovely friend ) Discount available for NHS employees ( my lovely friend ) And they even gave me a free drink because of my birthday. Will definitively be back
