A very interesting place for kids with butterflies, aquarium, koi fishes, citrus plants. Don’t forget to wear a T-shirt because it is very warm and wet. The cafeteria has a big variety of food, drinks and snacks for children and adults.You do not need an entrance ticket to enter the cafeteria. There is also a store with gifts for kids but for adults too. Worth a visit and it is easy accessible by buss.

It's a pretty lovely place if you want to disconnect a bit from this busy world. The ticket is a tad expensive considering its offering - 250kr / adult ticket, have seen bigger aquariums and butterfly houses for better prices, but I would say it's worth visiting at least once.

Not bad... The kids loved it but wish there was much more to see.. Highlight was the shark of tank.. Roughly you can spend 2hrs or less including having lunch. Well, it depends I tend move based on the kids... They moved through everything quick...

The place looks beautiful and the animals seem to have good space, i just keep seeing dead butterflies on the ground and I know it's not the staffs fault but it's pretty sad. Also I hate seeing people touching the animals even tho there are signs, last time I was here there was children pulling on the butterflies or kicking and punching the glass to make the animals move.

An absolutely brilliant and beautiful place. The tropical biome with the quails, frogs and butterfly's roaming free was stunning, the aquarium equally well presented. We enjoyed a good couple of hours of slowly exploring. The little gift shop was cute and the cafe served amazing food at reasonable prices.

Another overpriced for nothing place. 249 sek entrance fee gives you 3 expositions. Tropical forest with very basic and common plants, butterfly garden with not much to see and small aquarium which is pretty much empty. Just sad

A great place for adults and children, lots of interesting insects, small frogs and many with very strange names. Also a tropical area with butterflies and a hatching frame adding to the interest in watching the butterflies emerge from their chrysalis or pupa. The buildings look to be well-tended and maintained and I was especially pleased to see the clarity of the water in the fish tanks. My favourite were the jellyfish, small and almost invisible! Worth the entry fee and you can stay as long as you like. They have a small restaurant on site.

This was a very different place to experience. I really liked seeing the butterflies and walking thru the indoor forest. It was sad to see some butterflies dead from people walking on them but I guess it's a hazard of such a place. Very interesting to visit. Would return.

The rooms showing the rainforest and ocean wildlife are all sophisticated, the freely flying tropical butterflies are beautiful, the butterfly hatchery with its many chrysalis (pupa) strung together is an impressive sight. You can put down your jacket upon entering, which is also recommended, because it is very hot in the rainforest part. You can eat delicious cakes with a good coffee, and their gift shop is also charming.

It was neat to see butterflies and other animals living together in the rainforest area - and getting to experience the damp and humidity gave me a better idea of what a rainforest is actually like. Me and my 6 yr old love this place. Never seen such beautiful butterflies in nature and you really get to experience it here. The place is not very big and probably gets crowded during rainy summer days. The restaurant is okay, as it offers food. 🤪

Very pretty, went during the summer when the butterflies are plenty and it was wonderful. The aquarium is small, they have very pretty fish but the real experience is the butterflies. At the entrance they have fruits for the butterflies to feed from which lets us see them close up(genius idea). It doesn’t really matter if you buy tickets online or in person, in person you just wait maybe 5 min for the line but it’s in the same place as their gift shop so you get to checkout all the cute plushies and items they have.

Nice place, especially for kids. Butterflies fly around freely in some of the areas which is really nice. It’s not a big as I expected but it was still a nice outing. Obviously it’s very humid and warm once inside, so good to dress accordingly. There is a café with a good range of food and snacks.

Amazing place to visit with your child. If you are lucky enough, you could have butterflies sitting on you, and there is more to it than butterflies. The outdoor space leads into the beautiful Haga park, so it's a perfect place to start/rest during a day trip to the park. The cafeteria is also spacious and has good food, specially for children. The price is bit on the higher side, especially if you compare it to the zoo inside Skansen.

Just a heads up that the language is in Swedish so we didn’t really understand a lot. However the aquarium, seeing the sharks, tons of butterflies (one even landed on my arm!), seeing the larvae, and a bunch of other animals was really nice. We had coffee there too (I would recommend to wait and have coffee in the center of Budapest instead) but it was alright. We were a bit tired so we needed it.

But they do a really good job, several boxes with many more species from South America and stuffs such as frogs and salamander and a big tank of aquarium with several sharks and other small fish.
