I was here today. A fantastic place with very good views and walking spots. The cafeteria was really good and I could choose between different things to eat and drink. There were plenty of places to seat and take a break. A calm environment to forget all stress and keep calm. I took a lot of pictures and enjoyed every minute.

Such a nice palace to walk around. There is a small cafe serving fresh juice and tasty cakes. The cafe has both outdoor and indoor seatings. The tables are in the shade of big trees over looking the big yard. It is perfect for family and a nice date.

The perfect place for a calm and nice getaway. You can take wonderful long walks in nature, sit and have a bite at its café. A good way to spend your day.

Ulriksdal Palace is located on the shores of Lake Edsviken. It has to offer not only a large complex of parks with Carl Milles sculptures or cafes, but we can also visit its rooms. A tour of Ulriksdal Palace gives the visitor an exciting insight into interior design from the 17th to the 20th century. Several of the rooms on display were created for Charles XV by Fredrik W. Sholander. The tour is in Swedish or English. You must buy a ticket in advance for 120 SEK on the website: https://kungligaslotten.actorsmartbook.se/default.aspx?category=12. Visiting the palace takes about 45 minutes. The ticket price also includes a visit to the conservatory. We can spend most of the day in the palace and park complex and it will be a very nice time. I wish you good weather.

A lovely place to spend a day. The area is beautiful and calm and very enjoyable for picnics with family and kids. Only drawback is you will not be able to find any shop nearby. Public transport is not that common in the area, but I loved to walk to place.

Ulriksdals palace is a calm and beautiful place with lots of nature, old buildings and water. Many brides and grooms were taking their brodal photos here.

Our visit at Ulriksdal was so much fun, we had the best guide ever(do not remember her name but she was blond and petit), she was engaged, knowledgeable and funny. She woke up my curiosity about the Swedish royals. If you can get a tour with her, you will not regret it!

Great location for a pleasant Sunday walkabout. Scenic and historic castle with impressive attached gardens and good waterfront views. A caution: I got a bit lost on the running trails here and needed up in someone’s personal backyard. She kindly pointed me to the true walking trail and I ran away. But if you know where you’re going you can probably avoid this fate.

Smaller version of Drottningholm Palace. Nice picnic/ evening stroll destination if you live nearby.

A beautiful area close to a village. The walk to reach there, passing the golf course and the garden is beautiful. You might contemplate some ducks and gooses near the river, take a walk around the palace and the small church that lies close by, or fika in the cafe nearby.

Amazing place for a relaxed stroll or picnic by the palace and by the water. It's a huge and beautiful area, and is usually quite empty because it isn't as "popular" as the other palaces.

It is an enjoyable walk to relax after work in the tranquil gardens of the palace. As it is spring all the flowers were blooming.

Beautiful palace and park. Regret that due to COVID-19 palace and orangery were closed. But definitely worth visiting and strolling🚶 in the very large park.
