Amazing authentic Mexican, especially for small town Iowa. The place is nice, clean, well decorated. Service and food are outstanding. Prices are reasonable for food and drinks.

This is a local gem. The food is very good and consistent. It's a smaller place, but we usually don't have a long wait. Fajitas are fantastic, but try the Solon burrito sometime. It's phenomenal. They also have some authentic Mexican dishes that are excellent. Finally, seems like a family run establishment, so always friendly with lots of pride in the whole enterprise.

EL Sol is a authentic Mexican restaurant that serves large portions of delicious food. It's very cozy and welcoming when you enter the restaurant and you are immediately greeted by staff and seated and given,"Free" chips and salsa. EL Sol has a very diverse menu and I think their fajitas are pretty perfect. Staff is great and helpful to ensure that you have a great dining experience. Highly recommend.

The food here is tasty and piping hot. Overall the prices are reasonable for the lunch menu. The salsa is excellent that chips are good and the fajitas were good. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend this place if you are in Solon Iowa.

Great place! Tasty, fresh salsa. The regular Molcajete was yummy and plenty for 2 of us. Fun vibe and friendly staff. So glad we stopped

Had beef fajitas as the lunch special and they were very tasty and just the right size for lunch. They have a large variety of lunch dishes. 4 of us all agreed the food was good. Service was good.
