A gorgeous Concert Hall with marble floors and some marble walls and pillars. The Hall is elegant and palatial with incredible architecture and artistic details. There are multiple levels and all have fantastic unobstructed views of the stage. The acoustics are sharp and clear. The seats are somewhat small though. The entire facility is sparkling clean. The parking garage is very convenient and reasonably priced. The Cleveland Orchestra is fabulous and their performance is flawless. It is truly a memorable and worthwhile experience.

It was an amazing experience witnessing Cleveland’s own orchestra center. Its majestic and in all ways magical. Fortunately, I am so close that I have been to the center multiple times and everytime I come back with a sense of awe :)

Such a beautiful building! Absolutely wonderful place to see and hear our wonderful Cleveland Orchestra. The acoustics are incredible! The detail on every wall and ceiling is just beautiful. Also, even the cheap seats are pretty comfortable.

Took my son here for the first time last night and we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was so excited to share their passion for the hall and for the arts with us. The orchestra was phenomenal, of course. Great first experience, we will definitely be back.

Oh my Severance Hall! Well where do you start…Cleveland Orchestra, the sound of the music, the beauty of the hall, or all the good they do in the community. I am a subscriber and attend concerts regularly. When I first started going like 14 years ago it blew my mind how any one person could compose these movements. Go watch or close your eyes and just imagine what it takes to compose such beautiful music.

What great architecture. I really need to look into the history of these types of buildings across the country.

I was fortuned to perform at Severance, which is one of a few best acoustic halls in North America. It is truly one of the best sounding and gorgeous looking stages with very friendly crew. Starting with the security guard at the entrance, the stage crew, management and everyone else there were always trying to help and accommodate the performers' needs. Thank you! The acoustics on the stage sounded as at the best European halls. Definitely no need for the monitors or front of the house speakers. And the mic is not necessary since the hall does it all naturally. Great place to perform or to be in the audience. Ether way it will be unforgettable experience!

Beautiful building. It's worth getting there early and exploring. I prefer sitting up top as it's more of a gradient on the seats for views. Note: if you get a open drink, you can't bring it into the hall with you. Their parking garage is convenient, just expect some time getting out. There's also various street parking around, but that is always full.

We received tickets to go see Hannigan conduct. We went in blind not really knowing the pieces that were going to be played. As we listened we read the program to gain a bigger understanding of the meaning behind each piece and gained a greater appreciation to each piece. Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful venue and spectacular orchestra. This is a must try even if you're not an avid classical listener. An experience everyone should try once.

The Cleveland Orchestra Christmas Concert was amazing! The Orchestra and the chorus were just fabulous! The conductor (I believe his name was Bert Mitchell) was passionate, humorous, and interacted with the audience a great deal. That made the program even better. And to top it off, their guest singer, Capathia Jenkins, was out of this world!!! Beautiful venue, great music, all made for a wonderful evening!

The Princess Bride was awesome, the idea to play the soundtrack live while the movie plays is genius. Definitely a way to get kids to appreciate the arts.

Wonderful choir and orchestra in a beautiful classic symphony house. We attended the opening night of the Christmas program and it was great. A very interesting mix of the classics with some lesser known pieces and some new twists thrown in. The conductor was entertaining and funny without taking himself too seriously. You get the feeling he’s not the type that insists you call him “Maestro” if you were to bump into him on the street. The staff is well trained and friendly and the facilities are well kept. It feels classic and nostalgic without being run down. We are looking forward to attending many more concerts here in the future.

Beautiful concert hall with parking right next door. Cleveland Orchestra was amazing and nailed Princess Bride. Hope they do that one again. The ushers were very helpful when my seat was fully blocked by a post. They also found my lost license and called me. Amazing service all around!

We had a lovely ground floor view near the harpist for this year's last Christmas Concert of the season. To be honest, you cannot put a review on the world's finest orchestra - their ability to bring joy, peace, and wonder no matter what composers cross their stands is truly immaculate, and if you haven't had a chance to listen to them solo or in conjunction with one of the many choral groups that share the stage, you are truly missing out. Cheers to 2023 and looking forward to an amazing 2024 season!

This was a wonderful experience this event was sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic who I would like to thank for inviting members of the Cleveland sight Center the whole event was well planned and we enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres and the refreshments before the show if anyone has never experienced an orchestra before they would enjoy listening to the live music from the great composer Mozart and watching the musicians and the conductor perform this was a great experience I am recommending this place to everyone

This is such a gorgeous old hall and we are lucky to have this in Cleveland. Staff was friendly. The acoustics were great. Love the location near Wade Oval and there is plenty of parking nearby.

Amadeus with the Cleveland Orchestra was wonderful. The parking garage was another story. People were driving around and around trying to find a spot. Some ended up parking alongside the ramps going up. Quite stressful as we were going to miss the beginning of the show. It wasn't until we had been in there a while that a parking attendant, not sure where they were to begin with, directed us to a spot very close to where we had entered. I didn't catch why the elevators weren't running, but climbing staircase after staircase was exhausting. My knees are bad so that didn't help. It was even worse coming down.

The Cleveland Orchestra sounded incredible. Knowing they are one of "The Big Five", I was still blown away. Severance Hall is an absolute work of art. Gorgeous inside and out. The gentleman that takes the tickets, Alan, was very hospitable and super cool guy. He explained the history of the Hall and things to look for at the Hall. Definitely the best concert hall staff I've encountered. I will be returning to Cleveland & Severance.

Amazing Christmas concert as always. One of the most beautiful buildings in Cleveland if not the country. How did they get the engravings in the ceiling????

I'm a retired professional Horn player but I never had a chance to be in Severance Hall until a few weeks ago. Of course the orchestra played wonderfully .The acoustics were almost in the class of Boston Symphony Hall. The hall is located at the perimeter of Case Western University. A wonderful campus and all sorts of museums are in close proximity. It was my first visit to Cleveland and it left me looking for more! Little Italy is also nearby too.

Beautiful place to listen to beautiful music played by a wonderful orchestra, as well as other shows the venue puts on. Restrooms are pretty pathetic. One of the only places a male has to wait in a 5 minute line to utilize. I know the place is old but sometimes progress and revitalizing modern conveniences is a good thing. Upper concession - 1 person manning a drink stand during intermission is just dumb, and I'm guessing those in charge of Severance are not dumb people. Have someone else lend a hand, have premade drinks, limit options, train for optimized use of credit machines. Anything really would improve the line that can't be cleared during an intermission. Complaints aside it's always an amazing experience. Wear depends and don't bother with concession and it's even more amazing.

The last time I was at Severance Hall was June 3, 1976 for, my High School Graduation. I was very excited to be invited to my nieces High School Graduation 46 years later. The staff were very nice and helpful. The Hall is still amazing 👏 😍

I saw a great group WAR there in concert and a very good local group Afterthoughts and the Nu Soul band opened for them we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I hadn't been here in roughly 10 years it's still a great venue and well kept. I can't wait to attend another concert.
