Floriana Lodge is located along the main road through Solwezi but has the feel of being well off the main road. The rooms are spacious with all the appliances in good working order and the ceiling fan being very appreciated during my stay in the October heat. The shower had plenty of hot water which is appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful and the dinner meals were generally well prepared and enjoyable. Would recommend Floriana Lodge for anyone staying in Solwezi.

The rooms are nice and clean, I have been in the economy ones and the expensive ones and both are great. The surroundings are calm and serene with lots of fresh air. I really love the swimming pool, it's big and deep and usually not crowded. The food they prepare is also generally good though nothing special. The staff are excellent however what I didn't find nice was the breakfast especially the continental one, it's pathetic, It's suppose to be complimentary but even what I can prepare at home is far much better,even when I paid for full English breakfast it was still mediocre and that's the reason that I gave you a 4. Please improve on your food and food service.

They have good and comfortable rooms. It is a nice lodge to be when you are in solwezi town

My co-workers room was robbed. M. dropped off her belongings and within half an hour while we were in the lodges dining room her room had been invaded. They took all her cashUS cash, kwatcha and her cell phone.. we waited 3 hours for the manager to show up at the property but she did not. The police also were called . No answers and today I had tem minutes with the anger. After going to the police station, we were told they would be on the property at 2pm. Then since the purpose of our Vist was to train women we tried to get one session completed before returning to the property. We arrive at the lodge only to be told the manager was gone. After reaching her on her cell phone she said she would be back at 5pm you guessed it. She is not here. I give this hotel no rating due to the lack of help in this matter.

The Presidential Studio is spacious, ideal for a romantic night or family stay. Service was excellent. It's neat and away from the traffic noise.

Location of the lodge is just along the road and is ideal for those who do not want to travel long distances to lodge. It has a swimming pool surrounded by a natural environment. It has a wall fence, meaning that you can enjoy your privacy in a natural environment. The dishes are well prepared

Rooms are okay but with less maintenance. Food is too good

The surrounding is absolutely beautiful. Their standard rooms are .... Frankly below par. If you want to enjoy your stay, book a deluxe room and above. The area is prone to power cuts but they have backup gen sets for it. The swimming pool is well kept and a great in this humid season.

We stayed at Floriana lodge for a week and a half and didn’t have a bad experience. They have a great gym and great pool. Rooms are cleaned every day to a good standard. We stayed in the double executive, and aircon always worked, sheets were clean, bathroom was updated and nice. Breakfast was always good as well. One of the best hotels in Solewezi for the price, and for what you get. I would rather stay there then crossroads. My only complaints was a couple times the hot water didn’t work, and the door wouldn’t close unless it was locked, and there was some road noise since it’s right on T5. Other then that I have no complaints and would stay there again.

It's a great environment to host dinner parties, kids birthdays, it's a great place to bring your kids and yourself 😊 swimming over the weeknd, has a gym and message parlour. And for all those that like it executive (or newly weds) it has a presidential suite. You will simply love it
