Great hotel. I have stayed here on three different occasions and will stay here again next time I'm in Frankfurt. It's quick to get into town....if you don't mind a good 20 minute brisk walk you can be at the Konstabler Wache downtown in that time. The subway is 2 minutes away to get anywhere in Frankfurt. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, it's quiet, it's spacious and the breakfast buffet is plentiful, white table cloths, attentive helpers and the staff overall is very efficient. Overall for this size hotel it is one of the best run I have ever stayed at.....and I've been to a lot of them. Would highly recommend.

Booked last second after an airbnb nightmare. The staff were amazing and the location perfect for our 7 year old to have his first zoo visit. Rooms were good.

I had a great experience here. The hotel stay are so helpful and speak perfect English. You can walk or get the bus anywhere, beautiful views from the back of the hotel. Breakfast and rooms are lovely. All in all a great stay and I would definitely come back. Danke schon!

Nice and cozy hotel. Comfortable and feel welcomed by staff. Very nice location. Housekeeping can put a little bit more effort into the cleaning of the room. Breakfast is pleasant. In general, I would visit again.

Extremely nice staff. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was good and was less than a half hour walk to most anywhere. The breakfast was DELICIOUS. BEST I had in any Europe hotel. And I LOVE the Haribo gummy treats at the front desk. Recommendation Score: 97 out of 100.

Excellent location. Very quiet.

Comically bad hotel. There was no one working the front counter, so I had to use an automated system to check in (at 3pm), which would not let me finish and get a key card without providing payment information although I had already paid through Expedia. Then later when someone arrived they asked why I double paid, and one day later they still haven't figured out how to refund my money. I just walked into my room after having breakfast and they are straight up doing construction in here, without having asked my permission. They just randomly took down the ceiling while I was gone for 20 minutes. The elevator is also broken, as is the sauna. What a hell hole.

We had a very pleasant stay there. The managers were very friendly. They even looked after our dog as we went out. Breakfast was very nice too! The zoo is just next door. We easily found a parking spot in the street.

Excellent hotel. Have stayed here many times when in Frankfurt. It's meanwhile a home away from home.

Nice place ...

Lufthansa sent us there because we missed our connecting flight. We reached at approximately midnight, and we see this long queue of passengers trying to get a room. We see the counter staff running about, seemingly overwhelmed by the large number of people. They had rooms ready for 2 persons and we managed to jump to the front. Our hotel voucher however was missing and we told the counter staff about our situation and if he could check the system. I showed him my taxi voucher instead. He threw the voucher on the table, told me that he was not able to help me and told me to get back to the hotel then. Terrible attitude! Told him that I will pay instead. He was caught my surprised and verified if I’m paying. I confirmed and the attitude had a 180 change. He was much more polite now as compared to earlier. I am utterly shocked at this double standard in service. Just because Lufthansa has assigned us to your hotel, doesn’t make us lesser than a human being. We should have the same respect. The locality isn’t that bad. The room is a good size with comfortable bed. But the counter staff is terrible.

Our stay at Alexander am Zoo was perfect: both the room and common areas were spotless and well decorated. The beds are really comfortable and the ac provided a nice temperature. Breakfast was satisfying and there was a parking facility in the hotel. We would come back anytime!

Hotel is okay overall, good location and good service. There are quite a few of restaurants to choose from in the 10 to 15 mins of walking distance. My room had a strange and unpleasant smell for couple of hours when I entered for the first time - which might be due to the cleaning staff using some chemicals - and it went away. Internet connection in this hotel, at least on the 4th floor, was terrible. I would definitelly recommend to the hotel to fix this ASAP. If you plan doing any business online from your room, or conference call (or even something as simple as emails) - forget it.

Very nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a very nice breakfast buffet. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, and the little balcony is a nice touch. It is our new favorite place to stay in Frankfurt.

Green, peaceful neighbourhood. Hotel is nicer than photos suggest.

Spacious room, all clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is no buffet at the moment, they serve what you want. No scrambled eggs. But nice and friendly. I just miss the bottle of water they put you in the room as welcome after your trip in other hotels. Also no water heater, coffee or tea.

So good for kids and adults alike. A huge zoo that's super well managed, clean and nicely laid out. Well done

Absolutely rubbish this place is, don't even think about it especially if you are a vegetarian, they will not accommodate you in any way even though they are in the service industry... instead you will get to hear..."your problem" or get it for yourself!! Ridiculous. It was the worst choice. There are no bathroom amenities too like conditioners, body lotion etc and they charge you more than the other good hotels where the service is also good and people are also polite. I could anot cancel my stay and get a refund else I would have Hampton by Hilton is a much better choice they are more reasonably priced and also provide all the amenities and good breakfast, even for vegetarians. Also the bathroom and rooms are too old . The linen is torn. This is a genuinely pathetic service and an absolute rubbish hotel.

Perfect,clean small hotel

A nice place to stay for a few days. Very nice staff. The food is very good if you're a meat lover or a vegetarian.
