Great Guesthouse with lovely people! We will come back, definitely! Room with lots of space. Sadly the Mattress is made for bigger people so it was hard for us small and light persons. The staff is very friendly and the property is full of nature (including the great different animals). Every day we relaxed a few hours at the pool. We highly recommend the Albourne Guesthouse!

I've stayed here many times over the last few years, and it is always good. Glen makes you feel like an old friend!

The owner and staff made our stay just AMAZING! I loved it! I was a even a bit sad, when time came, to leave. It was just this side of paradise!

Fabulous, friendly service. Staff exceeded our expectations in helpfulness and friendliness. We enjoyed a delicious sandwich and salad at the pool upon arrival and later were served an enormous cheese platter, all very reasonably priced. There was no need to leave the premises. Room was spacious and every need catered for in high standard. Breakfast was another feast and a spoil for the taste buds. From start to finish the experience at Albourne was perfect ... and a bit more.

Stunning guest house with personal touches that make your stay memorable. The breakfast is incredible, with a choice of buffet or a hot breakfast cooked to perfection every morning. The staff are lovely, and the rooms are beautiful. Albourne is always our choice when visiting Somerset West. Highly recommended.

All the little things add up to a great experience. Great coffee, wonderful breakfast, a bar and lovely garden. Be sure to ask for a walk in shower if that's what you prefer.

What a fantastic experience. Short notice booking. Friendly and helpful staff. Even the owner pops in to say hallo. Fully booked but with the beautiful garden and pool area a person don't even notice it. Fantastic healthy breakfast. It's a defnate yes👌yes 👌yes💯

Booked in for three nights. Rooms are big and the beds comfortable and with good pillows. That is important. It was summer. There is aircon but we prefer open windows instead. The pool rooms back onto the main road so close bathroom door and Windows so as to not get traffic noise. The pool was clean and sparkling, large and we had it to ourselves. Pool towel provided. Breakfast is continental and you can also order from a menu. Good coffee of various strengths available too. Staff very helpful and friendly....big bonus. Close to Strand and Stellenbosch and a good base to many wine estates.

Nothing short of AMAZING, Glen and the team always have a way of making you comfortable and spoilt.
