Terrible
experience!
Even
the
Sunsets
recognised
in
a
message
to
me
that
my
trip
to
Namibia
had
been
"poorly
organised".
I
say
"poorly
organized"
and
dare
to
add
"full
of
scams
along
the
way".
Let
me
explain
why
so
that
you
don't
fall
into
the
same
trap.
Communication
before
the
travel
was
scarce,
not
to
say
almost
inexistant.
Except
for
a
short
"thank
you
for
booking
with
us"
sent
right
after
the
payment,
they
did
not
explain
anything
until
I
asked.
Two
days
before
the
travel
I
asked
about
my
guide
in
Namibia
and
if
I
should
share
my
flight
details.
Their
answer:
"
yes,
please
leave
them
here"
(Tour
Radar
messenger).
No
interest
and
no
initiative
whatsoever.
90%
of
my
hotels
were
changed
against
cheaper
options,
some
twice
cheaper
compared
to
what
was
envisaged
by
my
programme,
with
less
comfort
and
located
in
less
attractive
places.
Last
night:
hotel
was
not
fully
paid
by
the
agency,
and
the
hotel
reception
didn't
want
to
give
us
the
key
before
the
payment
difference
was
covered
...
No
one
discussed
those
changes
with
me
nor
sought
my
agreement.
I
have
not
received
any
compensation
for
the
service
that
was
basically
non-compliant
with
my
contract.
Savings
went
into
the
pockets
of
the
Sunsets'
owners.
How
to
scam
people
and
become
rich
-
this
is
a
perfect
slogan
for
this
company
!
Activities:
pure,
pure
chaos!
The
guide
did
not
show
up
on
the
first
day
because
he
"couldn't
get
the
car".
He
was
not
informed
about
my
bookings.
He
only
knew
where
he
had
to
drive
me,
and
that's
it.
The
driver
who
picked
me
up
at
the
airport
and
was
supposed
to
be
be
guide
("from
pickup
to
drop-off")
turned
out
to
be
a
simple
taxi
driver
who
didn't
even
know
which
hotel
he
should
bring
me
to
and
wanted
to
charge
me
for
the
ride
altough
the
transfer
to
the
hotel
in
Windhoek
was
included
in
my
package.
The
visit
of
Windhoek
organised
last
minute
with
Thule
hotel
where
I
stayed
(instead
of
the
Country
Club
I
was
promised...just
check
the
Internet
and
compare
both
places
in
terms
of
rates).
Safaris
in
Etosha
were
also
organised
last
minute
because
I
reminded
the
agency
they
were
included
in
my
package.
For
the
first
safari,
the
time
was
not
properly
communicated
to
us
and
we
arrived
to
late
and
missed
the
tour.
When
I
complained
to
the
Sunsets
about
their
mistake
and
asked
to
organise
an
alternative,
private
safari,
they
just
said:
"but
you
need
to
know
it
might
be
expensive"
as
if
I
was
responsible
for
all
the
faults
made
by
them.
Real
amateurisme
and
a
total
lack
of
professionalism!
On
the
second
day,
the
safari
was
confirmed
only
5
minutes
before
the
departure,
ans
I
was
actually
lucky
because
one
person
had
resigned
and
freed
the
place.
Communication
with
the
Sunsets
was
chaotic,
irregular
and
not
reassuring,
and
the
plans
were
changing
every
hour.
At
some
point,
when
I
asked
them
whether
they
could
confirm
the
timing
for
the
second
safari,
they
just
stopped
answering.
By
the
way,
my
guide
also
mentioned
me
that
I
should
pay
for
the
second
safari
and
the
Sunsets
would
reimburse
me.
I
protested
because,
again,
the
activity
was
part
of
my
package,
but
the
Sunsets
seemed
totally
uninterested
in
the
service
they
had
to
deliver.
And
so
on
and
so
on.
I
could
multiply
examples.
If
I
could
give
0
stars
on
Google
I
would
do
do,
as
this
agency
just
laughs
into
your
face.
It
is
not
worth
your
money
nor
your
nerves.
You
can
definitely
find
a
better
tour
operator,
more
reliable
and
client
oriented.
A
super
disappointing
experience
altough
Namibia
is
such
a
beautiful
and
enjoyable
country
on
its
own.
Don't
let
the
Sunsets
spoil
your
holidays!
