Nice location to watch the boats & enjoy the outdoors. There’s a playground for children, and picnic tables.

The Somerset Boat ramp is a great launch location for the river. At this point in the river there's a good draft and a channel for power boats it's not that big of a deal but you can launch a 6-foot draft there. You can put in at this ramp and end up at the Tipsy Seagull underneath the Braga Bridge in about 10 minutes. Lots of parking.

Nice small memorial with parking of those that have perished at sea. The historical Catholic church is across the street and you have a nice view on the quiet side of town. You may walk across footbridge to get there or use limited parking. Clean, quiet, quaint

This place is great if you just want to go park your car, hang out down by the water, and enjoy the view. Not much of a playground for the kids very small & very old. That's ok. It's a nice little spot to go fishing. Very clean & quiet usually there's not many people down here. If there's a few trucks or cars they usually have trailers attached because they're using the boat ramp. Great spot to launch your boat on the Taunton River. They have a pumping station the public can use. One , or two picnic tables to sit and eat lunch. They have an outhouse if you need one, and yes it's very clean. Beautiful little spot. Hidden Gem in a nice New England town. Great views ..

Nice local town park. Boat launch, parking for boat trailers, docks for loading and unloading. Good spots to fish with rock faced walls. Small playground and walking area. Benches to relax end enjoy the beautiful view. Trash bins and pet waste bags and depository to clean up after yourself. Public restroom during day hours. Park closes at sunset like all of the local parks. No swimming. Beautiful scenery and views.

I love the peacefulness of this spot! I had sleeping babies in the car and just enjoyed the quiet! They do have a small playground, completely shaded and just enuf grass for 2 toddlers to play with a ball! And the " poop" bag station is a great addition!

Truthfully though I don't want to say too much about this beautiful hidden gem. Great view of the water. Cascading grassy hills. Picnic tables and benches for closer views of the river. Happy to have found such an amazing picnic spot. Picnics rarely work out, with bugs, wind, or spots with no shade. This park has always delivered great picnic experiences. Oh no, I've gone and said too much. Goodbye hidden gem status.

Well I grew up in the village on Cherry St, and it had always been a good time at the boat ramp. Great place to relax and just enjoy the moment. If you launch a boat make sure its not low tide. The park also hosts a once-a-year Somerset celebration in September which has everything from Fireworks 2 boat rides and concerts and all of the food you could possibly need from local places around town. This place has history and if you go to the top of the hill there is an old school. That's now The Historical Society, and once a month they have a flea market. I believe from 9 to 1 on the third week of every month. I've been going to ever since I was 8 years old I miss this place #villagepark
