Where
do
I
begin?
We
were
stopping
through
for
a
funeral
in
Harrisburg
so
just
needed
one
night.
The
reviews
were
iffy,
but
some
said
'clean'
and
it
was
being
'remodeled'
so
I
chanced
it.
I
can
look
past
remodeling
since
that's
generally
a
good
sign.
The
parking
lot/garage
needed
major
work,
but
I
thought
that
might
be
happening
later
on.
The
front
desk
person
was
pleasant
enough
(and,
as
it
turns
out,
we
caught
her
at
the
perfect
time
since
she
was
rarely
there)
and
gave
us
keys
to
our
room.
Upon
arriving,
the
door
was
ajar.
We
peeked
in
and
the
beds
were
unmade.
An
employee
of
some
sort
was
out
in
the
hallway
so
we
mentioned
our
situation
and
she
called
to
the
front
desk
person.
We
were
sent
back
down
there
where
she
openly
complained
about
the
cleaners.
We
were
disappointed
to
hear
her
complain
in
front
of
customers,
dropping
the
f-bomb
quite
frequently.
You
should
never
speak
like
that
in
front
of
guests.
She
walked
us
to
our
new
room.
Upon
entering,
the
very
dirty
carpet
was
obvious.
Two
positives
I
can
say
about
the
room
...
the
beds
were
nicely
made
and
the
shower
surround
had
a
lot
of
room
to
put
soaps,
etc.
on
(if
they
were
provided).
Immediately,
we
noticed
neither
the
toilet
nor
sink
was
clean
and
the
shower
curtain
had
mildew
on
it.
The
shampoo/conditioner/body
wash
that
is
provided
at
every
hotel
was
a
half-used
bottle
of
shampoo
and
someone's
leftover
body
wash.
I
saw
a
cleaner
in
the
hallway
and
asked
her
for
some
new
toiletries
as
none
were
provided.
She
looked
at
me
like
I
had
two
heads
and
dug
into
a
bag
to
pull
out
a
wrapped
bar
of
soap
and
a
bottle
of
shampoo/conditioner.
I
knew
it
was
going
to
be
impossible
to
ask
her
to
clean
my
bathroom.
Fortunately
I
carry
disinfecting
wipes
in
my
car
and
I
went
to
town
cleaning
EVERYTHING.
I
literally
picked
up
dirt
-
old
dirt
-
in
the
corner
of
the
bathroom
sink.
My
guess
is
the
cleaner
takes
the
old
towels
and
just
runs
them
over
the
sinks.
There
were
no
bathmats
and
the
bathroom
floor
was
sticky.
I
CHOSE
to
believe
it
was
residue
from
a
cleaning
product,
but
nonetheless,
I
wore
shoes
in
the
room
100%
of
the
time.
I
had
asked
the
front
desk
lady
for
2
additional
towels
(one
for
my
hair
and
one
for
the
floor,
since
they
didn't
provide
a
bath
mat)
and
she
said
she
would
bring
them
to
me.
2
hours
later,
they
never
arrived,
so
I
decided
to
just
get
my
shower
with
the
one
thin
towel.
The
following
morning,
a
receipt
was
slipped
under
our
door.
Unfortunately,
it
belonged
to
someone
else.
I
left
a
note
on
it
at
the
empty
front
desk,
saying
it
wasn't
ours
and
that
now
someone
has
our
receipt
with
our
email
address
on
it.
Not
cool.
Poor
staff,
poor
cleaning,
poor
presentation.
The
location
was
right
next
to
the
Turnpike
so
I
gave
that
3
stars.
