Very good playground but fails to provide shade directly over the equipment and the equipment gets very hot. There is basketball court. It's in a busy area and can be hard to park if you come with the car. And there is a splash fountain but it's outside the fenced playground area, facing the street so gotta be watchful of the little ones.

Nice clean public park and playground. In the summer, the city puts out additional chairs and tables but there are some permanent tables as well. The water feature splash play area is great for kids in the summer and is activated by a brass button in the concrete.

Nice park for kids. Has a splash pad in a separate area. The trees provide great shade in the summer.

Great little park right in the heart of Davis Square and it even has a splash pad!

This park has everything in situ for hours of neighbourhood family activities snd socialising. Swings and kiddie adventure climbing structure with slides, all fenced in and internally bordered with plants and sun blocking trees. Basketball court and adjoining area with seats and table facilities for outdoor snacking. Water feature also on site for aquatic fun, especially appropriate during the long hot days of summer. Quite a comprehensive mix intelligently laid out in its constructed designated area.

I felt as though it was over crowded for such a small park and with a child mine age which is just under 2. Almost of the kids were older than her and the parents of most of them where not watching them at all more there for social hour for themselves. The park itself was overall ok for a small park if not so crowded with kids not being watched.

Since the remodel a couple of years ago this has become our go-to park. Convenient for our friends in Somerville as well as Cambridge, Arlington and Belmont. Close to the Minuteman Bike path and there's tons of metered spots (or fairly close resident parking) if we drive. The park is on the small side but in a way that's perfect. My 2 kids (2yrs and 5yrs) both have lots of activities there they love and it's all together so I'm not running back and forth (like at Lexington or Albion). Also very close to lots of businesses if we need to run in and buy snack and use a bathroom. The water feature is a bit hit in the summer too!
