If you want Chinese takeout, this place will hit all the marks. Don't listen to reviews from people who expect anything other than the standard American Chinese cuisine — that of which Mandarin fulfills very well. The chicken wings, for instance, hit expectations from a Chinese-American takeout joint tremendously, with crispy and gently flakey skin, moist and bouncy meat.

good chinese-am takeout. i wouldn't worry about the negative reviews - food tasted good, and the workers were sweet and nice I also wanted to bring up a point - for those complaining about delivery, i just want to remind them that standards between delivery from a restaurant which probably doesn't have many drivers and very limited time vs. an app filled with workers will vary vastly. Have some sympathy for restaurant workers.

Best Chinese food around! I moved here from LA and haven’t found anything that comes close to the food there, except this place :) food and service are phenomenal (and super fast)! On a selfish note: I only wish they were open every day.

I had a review on here for a while that a few thousand people seem to have found helpful. I can no longer fully recommend this place after having a bad experience with delivery. The driver tried to call me, I missed his call, and he seemingly left with my food. I spoke with the manager on the phone who proceeded to berate me for missing his driver's call. When it was clear they had no interest in resolving the issue, I said thanks anyway and hung up. Considering how much I've talked up this place, I felt really bummed out. Accidents happen and all that, but for whatever reason this one just rubbed me the wrong way and I have no intention of ever going back here.

My go-to for delivery after my former favorite restaurant for Chinese delivery closed a few years ago, I spent a couple months trying to find a replacement. I must have tried two dozen, then found Mandarin. It's been a once a week thing ever since. I highly recommend the General Gau's tofu medium spicy with brown rice.

Incredibly affordable, delicious food. The order was done in less than 15 minutes, and the portions were really generous. Finally, the staff was very nice. What’s not to like? A lot of people complaining about delivery in the reviews, I wonder if they’ve ever heard of walking a little and picking up an order? I feel like delivery apps are ruining us…

Solid Chinese food. I got the beef lo mien, general Tsao's chicken and an egg roll. The egg roll was nice and crispy, probably the best part of the meal. The le mien was fine, probably could have used a bit more flavor, and the chicken was fine as well. I'm not going to be rushing back here, but I was in the mood for Chinese food and this hit the spot. I would recommend getting the food to go since the inside is not the nicest dining ambiance.

The boneless spareribs and chicken teriyaki are terrific. I'm apparently very specific about my boneless/bbq spareribs and this place makes them super well. Not crazy greasy and the sauce was surprisingly sweet for how not thick it was. Tastes like there's honey in it. Will definitely be ordering here again :) Also if you like chicken teriyaki sticks get them they're a huge portion/and had a tasty fire char

Food was excellent - eggplant, bean curd honestly. No brown rice, but they were open on Christmas and food was excellent. No dine in option, but understandable with pandemic.

Service is horrible!!! I called and tried to place a delivery for my blind client, who lives in an apartment complex. Woman on the phone still demanded that my client come downstairs for his food. Awful! I usually come here for myself, I won’t be doing that anymore.

This place is filthy. The lady at the counter is extremely rude. They refused to give me my order because it was under $10 and I didn’t have cash only card. The lady yelled at me then walked away. Honestly glad they did that because after walking inside I think they saved me a trip to the ER. How is your dining area dirty and you don’t even allow people to dine in??

It’s solid Chinese food for a good price. Nothing fancy, just what you want.
