Went for Sonmarg Glazier point. Good place to visit. The Pony ride is awesome. The Ponies are well trained and guidance from guides is commendable. The Cost varies from 800-1500 Max. Need to bargain here to get the best price.

Instead of a pony ride you can also trek it will take around 1 hour. When you reach the height you can eat Maggie and coffee here nothing else. When you are taking pony bargaining it is a must. It will cost you around 1k per pony.

Undoubtedly Kashmir is a marvellous and heavenly tourist destination but Pony ride deal can make your experience like hell. No proper regulations and guidelines are there for tourists convenience. Most of the pony owners are pickpockets and they have a strong union, so kindly beware of them. They will tell you very much high charges for per person pony ride. And guys you must have to bargain maximum possible upto 75% of the amount they quote to you, if you can. Don't be hasty and panic while bargaining, take your time before finalising the deal. Do clarify with them the sites they are quoting to you otherwise you will have to repent as they will make you fool not showing actual sites. Pony owners don’t go with you while riding. Daily wager lads will go with you. So make all deals very clear. Government and local authorities must look into this and should fix the charges for the tourists convenience as well as the welfare of Kashmir tourism.

If you are a traveller Visit Kashmir, Sonmarg, Gulmarg only in Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb. No meaning in visiting these places the rest of the year. Apple gardens are not within the reach. One or two gardens are grown only for visiting purposes. All pony, 4 wheeler scooters are a big Mafia, they force you to go by ponies or scooters to where you can go by walk too..

This is a place Full of natural beauty situated in the lap of Himalayas On the Srinagar-Leh highway…… Pony rides here will force you to take pony but you should not take that if you are young and if you can walk for 5-6 kms… Highway is good and safe to ride but it’s filled with snow after 1st of November and keeps closed in winters

Just went there yesterday, people say Kashmir is like heaven on earth and it feels like it . I can't express myself with words how beautiful it is . For the first time in my life I saw white snow and man what an amazing experience. You can book a pony form down and they take around 2000 to 3000rs per head. And you have to rent a rain coat from down, and they take around 300-400 rs with shoes. But let me remind you to bargain because the govt. Rate is fixed like for pony it's only 2000rs only but pony riders will ask you a lot more so tell them the government rate during bargaining. And don't book any sledge riders from down. They will definitely empty your pocket. Go to the locations and book a sledger from up there it will save your money for sure.

One of best view point form Leh to Shrinagar highway. Zoji La is an exhilarating mountain pass connecting Ladakh and Kashmir. The journey through Zoji La is both breathtaking and nerve-wracking. The scenic beauty is awe-inspiring, with snow-capped peaks and rugged terrain. However, the road conditions can be treacherous, especially during inclement weather. It's a thrilling adventure for those seeking an adrenaline rush, but not recommended for the faint-hearted or those prone to motion sickness. Prepare for a challenging yet memorable expedition through this high-altitude pass.
