This is a great place, highly recommend! Nelson is the best! UPDATE: We just visited again for my Birthday and were fortunate to have chef Nelson as our cook again. Nelson is by far the best chef we’ve ever had. He was great the first time but he improved his already incredible skills. We we’ll definitely come back and we will request Nelson.

Surprised my boyfriend with a dinner at Takuma for his 30th birthday and I couldn't even begin to describe how good of an experience we had! Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect - the food, the attentive staff (they even made sure we got an English speaking chef which I did not expect!), the service and the show itself. The staff even made sure to help us capture the special day with photos and videos. They went absolutely above and beyond and we had a night we'll never forget. I've been to multiple teppanyaki places in Asia but this one takes the 1st place in my book! Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to celebrate a loved one.

Everything was good. The show was amazing and very good atmosphere and service from the team. I went there and got a cooker at my table during my all meal. Very good experience. Totally recommended!

I wasn’t aware what type of restaurant this was before coming in, I was just going to order takeout but then I was told they had tables available and thought why not? It was an amazing experience and definitely a show! Nelson and Luis were super super attentive, I felt really catered (like a fancy b**** 🤭). Had so much fun here and the food was delicious. The cocktails are definitely worth it because you can feel the alcohol! We had 2 entrées, 4 cocktails, 2 main dishes (one of them with lobster and the other seafood) and a complimentary desert. All for not even 60€! If you include the performance of the chef it was a bargain!!! If I’m ever in Bogotá, I want to come back.

I dont have the words that would jutify the food, flavors, experience and especially the service. I have never had better Japanese food, and the chef accommodated our vegetarian/vegan diet with custom dishes. I would really recommend edmame and sushi pizza. It was all so "cant stop eating yummy"!! Chef Sabastian was amazing!! Desert was icing on cake, they gave it such a personal touch with the flag and greeting, I have never had such a great experience, thank you so much!!

We loved this place! Was searching for some good Asian cuisine on Google and this popped up. We were not disappointed. The sushi was delicious and the teppanyaki was awesome. Not to mention the staff spoke very good English and were so lovely. They even gave us some deep fried Oreos for dessert on the house!

The staff and chefs blew me away. They not only provided a phenomenal fine dining experience but delivered spectacular dishes filled with flavor! I might have tipped more than they charged me! If you’re in the area, you can’t miss this experience!

Wonderful experience! As an English speaker with very limited Spanish (sorry!), we were worried about a difficult interaction, but the resturant were very accommodating & staff had excellent English. Very attentive staff & chef, who put on a great show for us. The sushi rolls were so well prepared, probably the best we’ve had. The ramen had an interesting twist, though it was super tasty! Get yourself to Takuma for a great evening! 🇬🇧🇪🇪🇨🇴

What a wonderful evening! It gets hard here in Columbia as a foreigner sometimes, especially with no knowledge of local language. We speak 0 Spanish so the staff went out of their way to present and explain everything in English, it's so much appreciated! They cook right in front of you and put up a cool show. Sushi was so well presented and fresh, ramen was so flavourful. We were treated with care and attention and we just had such a good time! There was a little surprise in the end that reminded us of home. :) 1000% recommend.

One of the best places to celebrate and have fun even just ti have regular lunch, vegetarian options are really good, a lot of options to choose from and the staff is just awesome, great energy and personality, the food has thr best quality around this area, 10/10 definitely I'll comeback.

The food and service was amazing. I didn't realize a reservation recommended for a full experience. Nonetheless, I was provided a choice to be seated near the bar area which I accepted. The service was excellent, John's recommendations turned out to be amazing. Ceviche was simply so good. I highly recommend this place.

Such an incredible experience! The waiters and chefs were funny and entertaining and the food was perfect! We had such a great time. The sushi was the best we’ve had in a long time and at the end they brought out an amazing desert with the flags of our countries drawn in syrup. muchas gracias por la cena increible!

Hibachi grill but if you just want apps and sushi you can sit at the bar. The staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable.

All I can say is Wow! This was an experience with a great value in comparison to the U.S. The service here is the best in Bogotá, hands down. Diego and Sebastian made our night with their impeccable service and hospitality. The food... out of this world. Don't even hesitate about choosing a different hibachi spot in Bogotá. Takuma Cocina Show is definitely the best in Bogotá.

Simply great. Food was good, the service was personal, and the show was amazing. It has been a while since I last left a review, but this place is honestly worth it. Prices are average. The price-quality ratio is definitely on point however.

Excelent restaurant in an already great area for restaurants. Definetively the experience is one of a kind and must be seen firsthand. The type of cuisine is asian inspired with slight variations from the restaurant itself, all made directly in front of your table in a skillful show right to make your experience even more memorable. Staff is kind and always willing to help you and attend your needs, there are also sanitation protocols so be sure to arrive early or even better make a reservation beforehand to confirm your arrival!

Great for something fun and different, and the kids loved the experience. The food was really tasty and the staff were very kind and friendly and even surprised us with dessert with really well done hand drawn icons from our country on the plates; very thoughtful and a nice end to a pleasent evening.

What a great dining experience in Bogota. Hibachi style dining where they cook and entertain you right in front of your table. The food was delicious. They're different lemonades were really good. The service was one, if not the best, service I've experienced in Colombia. They even catered to our celebration with decorations at our table.

I usually find these teppanyaki restaurants as overrated. Takuma beat my expectations in every possible way. Staff is professional, friendly and attentive. You find a relaxed environment, delicious food and drinks. It’s truly a show to remember that you don’t find everywhere in the world.

This restaurant is amazing, the staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is the best. I recomend the ramen and the shrimp wrapped with bacon.

Do it! If you’re even thinking about it do it! This was absolutely amazing, the food was excellent and the show was absolutely increíble. Better than some I’ve seen in expensive places in the US. A note for crazy people like me: there were no hoods or fans which made the show much more enjoyable than similar places in the US. I highly recommend. Being an American my only note is that we would have enjoyed a higher end scotch or bourbon after dinner. It’s not what most Colombians want and it isn’t Japanese, but having a Glenmorangie , Glenfiddich, Buffalo Trace, or Four Roses would have been nice. Again, this was just fabulous. Hats off to you.

We really liked this restaurant, the staff is amazing and super kind. We had a poke bowl, sushi and the classic tepanyaki experience with sea food and meat. All where amazing and super fresh with beautiful plating. We got a starter and dessert of the house. The whole vibe felt really cosy and chique. An excellent experience, lots of fun and we are likely coming back.
