Booking was straight-forward; surprised and thankful to get a table on a Saturday evening on short notice. Service was good from the time we entered until we left even though the place was busy. Staff were attentive and friendly!! Reasonably priced meals and good servings, meat and fish were cooked to our liking. I still think about the pepper sauce.. 🤤💭 Overall a lovely evening, with a view of the sun setting over the beach.

The Pretty Posh Princesses Red Hat Ladies enjoyed their Christmas Dinner Menu at The White Salt in December 2022. The booking process was so easy and we were helped every step of the way until we finalised numbers and our menu. On the night the service was fabulous. The staff were so friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was absolutely fabulous and washed down with a wine or three. Everything about the evening was very professional and we are looking forward to a return visit in 2023. A great way for a group to enjoy Christmas festivities without doing any work. High recommended.

Took a while to be served, seems understaffed. Pizza was okay, dough side seemed wet and soggy. Has a view of ocean. Additional: Took the word of the owner, and ordered the same thing again. This time, everything was cooked perfectly.

Nice place, good service. Don't order the slow roasted lamb, mine was too fatty and not what I would call slow roasted.

Service n food were superb i had barramundi which is the best i have ever had.

We had dinner at White Salt last night. The new menu is fantastic - I had the lamb with turnip and celeriac which was incredible. There were lots of other choices and our table of 6 all enjoyed the food. The quality is good and it’s priced well. We’ll be back for dinner again soon.

Had another yummy breakfast here last week. I have now visited several times and everytime have found the staff friendly and efficient, and the food superb. Plus you can't beat the beautiful location across from the beach. Can't wait to return again!

Great meal - we all ordered the lamb, it was cooked to perfection and with very generous portions!

When we dined on Friday night (5/6) I choose the Barramundi dish, which was absolutely delightful in every respect - flavour, portion and size. Ken had the steak, and whilst he too was happy with the flavour, portion and size the chips which came as part of his meal were closer to cold, rather than luke warm. I am not a chip eater by choice, however I do know that to be fully enjoyed they need to be piping hot. This was our third dinning experience at your restaurant and we also enjoyed the fact that the time between ordering the meal and it being served at table was far shorter than the two previous occasions. Last night we had the best crispy skin salmon with a refreshing citrus salad! Also a delicious barramundi. Perfect portion size, delicious taste, clean, cosy, feels just like being in an episode of friends... perfect place to enjoy a little wine, chill out, chat to friends, great ambience if you really want to experience local culture and cuisine.

Great restaurant, great food, great prices. We had a table of 6 and every meal was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Was a busy Friday night so the staff where under pressure but still friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed there meals on the table, I had the couscous salad which had great flavours and would definitely get again.

Had a fabulous lunch with family and friends. Service from start to finish was spot on as was the food. My seafood Laksa was full of flavor and my wife's barramundi was cooked to perfection. My brothers sirloin steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and melted in the mouth.He'd had the same cut at Rockpool a week and a half before and this one at the White Salt was far better and half the price. Our shared entree's and deserts were also excellent. Highly recommend.

I'm not a local to the area but after a bit of searching we found white salt and bar Cafe Restaurant. And the reviews were correct Tim at the reception and all the staff showed a fantastic level of professionalism with a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in the the Dog friendly shaded outdoor area. Advertised 1kg chilli mussels... I buy kgs of mussels every week from local fresh fish market and make chilli mussels, so I decided to treat my wife and I to chilli mussels Saturday arvo nice sunny day next to the ocean...the place was well patronised as we found a table inside Delivery was prompt, however, not chilli and not a kg of mussels ... The next picture is 500g chilli mussels cooked at home the following day

We were here for my wife’s birthday lunch and from the time we arrived we were well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress sorry cannot remember her name but she had the greatest attitude and customer service (Thank you). We will definitely return for another meal and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you all again.

We had a very enjoyable long lunch there on Sunday. Two of us had the duck curry - delicious! The others enjoyed their meals too. Excellent service and a lovely location.

We went to the White Salt not knowing what to expect and I have to say, the experience was beyond great. The menu is big enough tp satisfy any taste and craving and being vegetarians we tried the cauliflower salad and we both ordered a portion of gnocchi. The cauliflower salad is placed on a layer of sauce that mixes perfectly with the flavours of the cauliflower and the rocket gives a fresh kick at the end. The gnocchi were sublime and both me and my friend cleaned the plate (note she is a professional whiner and she had nothing to complain and loved the food). They come with fresh vegetable and a pea puree, the light and tasty flavours make it hard to leave anything on the plate. The desserts made my friend light up, she loves ice cream with frangelico and was not disappointed. I wanted to go with tiramisu but I chose the cake of the day, chocolate pinenuts and fruit. It was a good choice (check the photo) A special thanks to the chef for creating the experience and making it so easy to binge of the food. Kudos on those flavours, just amazing!

We had lunch it was our anniversary we were greeted and given a glass of champagne each. The service was excellent the two young guys who served us were laid back and were not overbearing. The food was great ,location great and excellent customer service.

Fabulous Seafood platter, freshest natural oysters, smoked salmon and a Thai green fish curry to die for! Garlic prawns, chilli mussels and beautiful grilled barramundi. All washed down with a nice drop of house SSB! It was amazeballs

Seriously I highly recommend this place, all was AMAZING, as a vegetarian girl I felt so Happy that you guys have super vegetarian yummies options. Gnocchi was fabulous, Cauliflower dish surprised me completely! Warm staff, nice vibe and the view is perfect. Please extend my gratitude to your Chef and kitchen staff, what a good job!!! Ahhh almost forgot to mention the Affogato Frangelico ? loved you have this option in your menu. I am coming back for sure :)

Beautiful location with sunset views of the ocean. Very tasty food, I had a reasonably priced steak that was perfectly cooked. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals, particularly the Thai Style Chicken Curry and Fish and Chips. Service was genuine and friendly (Charlie ?). Dessert was also yum

Excellent friendly service from male and female waiters. Exceptionally good food at very reasonable prices. I live in Wembley, which is quite a distance from here but it is so good I will be a regular.

Food was okay, but the service was not. The waitress chose to memorise our order without writing it down, but then had to come back to ask us the order again, and then brought out 3 of the wrong coffees. Instead of apologising, she acted very rude to our table. The staff were also very unhappy about splitting a bill for our table of 5.

Every course was better than the last...so we started with Chilli mussels and Tandoori Chicken Drumettes with yoghurt dressing followed by two servings of the ARKADY Slow Roasted Lamb Rump (served pink), roasted chat potatoes & carrots, red wine jus, mint sauce and finished with Warm Chocolate Fondant, sour cherries, salted caramel and White Salt Affogato with Baileys. Not to mention the lovely Pirathon Shiraz to tie it all together. And the service. All I can say is that it was 'tipping level' service!!! First date night in too long and it was JUST PERFECTION. Always great service and great food. One of our favorite places to go. The restaurant is a family owned concern and this family really works together to make your dining experience special. The menu is quite extensive whilst being reasonably priced. Definately one of our favourites.

The service was outstanding, friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, came out very timely and was incredible value even without being able to use the entertainment vouchers. Our table of 10 ordered a number of different items and no one went home hungry. Can't wait to go back!
