Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was good and I love the 'build your own breakfast'. However, my bill should have been 240 pesos, not 384...about a 35% increase in wrong charges and hidden fees. The owner is clearly conducting unethical business practice: prices on the menu vs the actual bill are not the same, plus, the menu says "no taxes included" but mentions nothing about a '28% service charge'. This isn't mentioned on the menu, and taxes and service charges are not the norm here; the price on the menu is what you pay in most places here. This is typical behavior for Dominicans trying to squeeze money out of gringos but for an established business to do this...purely unethical and intentional.

Cockroach/water bug dead under bathroom sink. Payed for my room but management did not disclose a party would be going on with heavy medal starting that night at 6:00 PM ending around 10:00 PM. The room was impossible to be in with the very loud music. I spoke to the manager and it was please understand “we are having a birthday party”. I for one would not trust a hotel that knowing rents a room without disclosing a major detail of loud band music to a paying guest (the party was a private affair). Room was dark limited channels on TV. Pool was clean and breakfast was put together style acceptable. Sosua has better hotels I got what I payed for and a bit less.

I've going to this Hotel for the past 15 years. This hotel sits just down the road from the beach.The new owners are putting in a lot of work in this Hotel for the best. Every room is being upgraded and just a few rooms left.The hotel is a Boutique Hotel. The Hotel food is the best. They have a new menu which includes sushi. The service feels like your Home. cleaning staff is on point, always at your service. I would definitely come here if you wanna experience the local culture. Remember this is not a resort. Always a pleasure to come here and I'll return again.

Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber alles funktioniert. Wichtig die Betten sind gut. Frühstück reichlich und Personal sehr flott und freundlich! Lage mitten in der Stadt und nach am Strand. Sehr zum empfehlen!

Great hotel! Excellent service, delicious coffee, the chef is very good at cooking everything: seafood and meat. Helpful and pleasant staff. When our car broke down a taxi was sent for us despite the curfew! Beautiful beach just 150 meters away.

This is a very nice hotel deal for the price they charge. The best location in Sosua with a beach i block down the street and the main Sosua beach literally a 5 min. walk away. Friendly, helpful staff and good reasonably priced foodCould the rooms be more lavish? So go to Punta Cana and pay $200/night. This checks all the boxes I need in a hotel and I have more $$$ to spend on vacation activities

Perfect location and great staff and I aim to stay here each time. If they are booked I at least stop by and have a drink. Any issues I have had the owner addressed them immediately.

Hello everyone bueno dia. I’m here experiencing my first time in the area or Sosua D.R. I give this restaurant 5 star for a magnificent meal for one person which cost me $218.30 in peso.. so it definitely worth it. The waiter was patient with me and the hotel staff catered to my every need. If you ever bust here please be careful with certain people in the area but other than that if you are in need of anything at any given time just ask for the one and only Luis who is the hotel staff on Monday and Thursday.. I head back to the U.S on Sunday and will definitely come back for another visit in July.

Theu don't let you squeeze any extra people, youd have to get another room but it comes with a full breakfast where you can get an espresso drink, smoothies, yogurt and fruit and hot and delicious food made by their chef. European owned. Its a nice cute hotel. Excellent service. About a block from the beach and the have a pool and wifi.

It's run by nice people and they have helpful staff working here. They clean the rooms daily and the breakfast is good. They have a laundry across the street and nightlife is in walking distance.

Great hotel for an even greater value. The food is amazing from breakfast to dinner. Everyone at the hotel is extremely friendly and hospitable. The location is great. As the name suggests, it is very close to Playa Alicia. It is not far from the strip or any poppin spots but also not too close. It is very quiet and peaceful. Also they have 24hr security which is an added bonus. Bring your own soap and iron. It is definitely a great value for a nice size room with fridge and safe. I didn't have any issues during the entire stay. I will definitely be staying there again!

that was an awesome experience. Second time in Sosua, and first time stay in hotel Alicia beach. Irina the host is a very kind and helpful lady (thank you). All the staff members were very nice, friendly and quick respond (thank you all). very good location, clean and quiet, very close to beaches, walking distance to everything you needed. excellent breakfast. Water pressure in shower was not strong, but they were working around it (no complain). I defiantly recommended this hotel. Thank you all
