Itsy first time eating Thai food and it is also my first time coming to this restaurant. There are few people so there are a lot of vacant tables and chairs to sit. I forgot to tell but I'm with my sister. They have a lot of dishes on their menu. And it's hard to choose since we have no idea what to eat. We just order a dish that we think looks delicious and yummy. After a couple of minutes our order came. Cashew chicken is so delicious. It has lots of veggies including cabbage, corn, green peppers, carrots and many more. It also has chicken. I also like their Basil Fried Rice Shrimp. It has a lot of toppings and it cooks very delicious. I like this Fried Rice. It has a topping of shriimp and some leaves. It comes with a cucumber on the side plate. Overall we enjoyed having here. Thanks for the good experience.

So I found this hidden gem on accident. Was going for movie with mom and aunt at AMC Barrington. We were late for the 6:30 show so we said let's go to 9:20 show and eat first. Looked up Thai places nearby as was craving something Thai as it had been a bit since I had eaten it. It's small family run place next door to a Korean restaurant in a strip mall. The daughter was serving basically all the tables and running the register and I believe the Mom was cooking. One man came later to drop off a dish from the back but not sure if it was the brother. So we ordered drinks and I wanted a beer which they don't serve alcohol so I ordered a Thai Iced Tea (pretty good... tasted like most other places). Then we ordered veggie egg rolls, edamame and small cucumber salad (enough for three but could have had a large cause it was so good but because we were ordering more food we didn't want to fill up plus we weren't sure how it would taste but now I think I would have ordered the large and ate some more because it was light dish). Egg rolls were crispy and tasty and edamame was warm and salty and crispy (maybe could be cooked for another minute but that perhaps would have lost its crunch but it was tasty... it's edamame can't do much with it). The cucumber salad was super tasty. The vinaigrette dressing on it was so good. We added mixed some of the Thai chilli sauce we had with the egg Roz for a little kick. So tasty! I'm not veg but my mom and aunt are so I decided to order all veg dishes so we could all share. Great idea because everything I ate was hella good. For our main entrees basil fried rice at the recommendation of the server she if we wanted tofu or vegetable. So my mom isn't a tofu fan but my aunt and I do eat it so we ordered vegetable and basically they add more and different veggies than what's in the base dish. I'm glad we did. So damn delicious! We also ordered the Panang curry let her recommendation and it was light and tasty and ordered with vegetable also instead of tofu and that was also a good idea because it had more veggies in addition to the base. Lastly we ordered crazy noodles but with tofu this time instead of additional veggies because I thought would be good to have at least one dish with tofu and that's what server recommended also. It was made to perfection. The tofu was nice and crispy not soft like some places and noodles and veggies were great combo with it. All three main dishes were so good and we did hot and medium hot for dishes as we like spicy. You won't die from heat it was good flavor and my aunt can't eat too hot and she enjoyed it. So we ate with the spicy Thai chilli sauce and some left over sweet and sour sauce we had with egg rolls. The combination of the three dishes was amazing which I let the server know several times. Poor girl seemed overwhelmed a tiny bit handling all the tables (I think there are like 10 and they were more than 2/3 full) but she was nice and didn't complain and melt smiling even when we asked for more sauce and napkins. I asked her as o was paying bill it was family owned and she said yes. It's been open for ten years. We live in Wheaton near Naperville and cane to Barrington area just for movie so this isn't close for us however I would drive all the way again just to eat here as I loved it so much! I've been to Thailand and eaten yummy food and this place can definitely hold a candle to their Home country's food!

Under new ownership the food is simply not as good. I've been a regular with Jaded Thai on my lunch rotation list but unfortunately, I won't be returning any longer. The food was simply bland and a reduced lunch menu.

Jaded Thai is by far the best Thai restaurant in the Northwestern Suburbs. Everything there is fantastic. I suggest the Pad Thai with tofu, Lad Nar with chicken, and moonlight chicken. Also get their brown rice it is so good. Other faves are Crazy Noodle (get it hot and spicy!), garlic chicken and the basil fried rice (get the brown rice option and make it spicy). Been a big fan since their days in Mt. Prospect. Their Hoffman Estates location is much nicer. Dine in bbn or carry out.

This is the first time I've ever wrote a review. With that being said; I had the egg rolls and it was the best I've ever had in my 58 year life span. The panang beef, soup, desert and jasmine tea was good, but the egg rolls just blew my mind and made me go online and write this.

I am super picky with my Thai food as I used to live in Thailand, but Jaded Thai has some of the best Thai around! I come here often with a group of friends that all have dietary restrictions and we can all eat here fine. Vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options! Highly recommend!

The chicken and basil portion was extremely small. I think it was $12. The amount of chicken was not proportion to $12. The taste of the food was decent. We went on a Wednesday and we were the only customers. We have gone to 2 Thai restaurants in chicago. These are the places we will eat Thai food from now on.

Service is very poor here, especially after they hired a new chef who uses garbage ingredients and does not even use the ingredients that is listed on the food description. We ordered the basil Thai rice with chicken after having a good experience the first time with nice large pieces of white meat chicken. Well sadly the second time instead of using chicken, they put a bunch of mushrooms and there are not supposed to be any mushrooms in there and there was not any chicken. So I called and I spoke with Annie, who was supposed to be the manager. She said that I would have my next mail free. So I called today and ordered basil fried rice with chicken. Instead of getting basil fried rice with chicken I got a small container of brown rice plain and then a container of something that looks like ground beef with a few basil, leafs and onion. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had and it was absolutely not basil fried rice. It looked like they ground up chicken organs, and it tasted even worse. I would avoid this place at all cost because clearly they don’t care about quality and service any longer and when they make a big mistake, they double down and make the mistake again and they don’t really care to make things right.

We have been ordering here for YEARS. Even with the new owners, everything has been made correct and delicious every single time. Food tastes the same as previous owners. Spicy basil fried rice, chow mein, tom yum chicken soup, crab rangoon. Staff is very friendly. Almost everything here is delicious!! Try this yummy thai restaurant & support your local businesses!

The food is not as good as before. I used to eat the lunch fried rice at least 2-3 times a week. I tried it with the new ownership, the taste is different and the portion reduced. Won’t go back.

My experience was awesome! The Mongolian beef was so good I truly struggled to not eat all of it only so I could share with my son! My wife and I shared the Crab Rangoon of which typically I’m not a fan of but oh my gosh it was so crispy on the outside and delicious my wife said the best she’s ever had! The green tea was a nice touch! Can’t say enough about the food, I felt like I was on an episode of check please! Absolutely recommend this place. Not to mention the food came out quickly and the staff was super friendly and helpful!

The food is absolutely outstanding. The best flavor. I recommend the Spicy Basil Chicken!! The atmosphere is great for a date night or for the family. The service is fast and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have been waiting for a great Thai restaurant for a long time!!

Finally! I found a Thai place! We stopped in for a really late small dinner. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and tidy. We only had the Tofu Pad Thai and crispy egg rolls and they were both great! We will definitely be back for some curry!

Delivery/ carry out only experience. Delicious taste, good portions, and very competitive pricing on dishes. Food is not too oily because I hate that from most similar places, it takes away the flavor of the food. Highly recommend.

Update 3/28/2023: I can find the option now to schedule a later pickup, not sure if I just missed it before or what was going on, still very good food too.... I work nearby and usually ordered online in advance to pickup on my way home. Always loved the food from here. I haven't ordered since the new ownership, but today when I went to order online there's no longer an option to schedule pickup for takeout later in the day, the only option is "asap", which doesn't work well for me.

Seriously disappointed since they have new owners. The Crispy Panang noodle was my favorite dish. We ordered it to go, as always, and they put the noodles into the dish. Making them no longer crispy, but INCREDIBLY soggy. They soaked up all of the panang curry, and they were awful. The description also says there is broccoli and carrots in it, but all I got was green pepper and peas. It used to come in a round container that you would pour over the nice crispy noodles when you got home. It honestly was so bad, I had trouble eating it. I'm giving 3 stars because the Thai fried rice was still pretty good, just lacking chicken.

Love this place! Great egg rolls and excellent pad thai. Super friendly staff and very good food. My only concern is the inconsistency in spicy from time to time. Sometimes you need the extra spicy sauce and sometimes you really don't.

The food itself was not the best in my opinion, but thats probably because I dont like Thai food as much as any other food. The service was amazing 10/10 the food didnt take too long and the lady was refilling my cup whenever it was empty. The drinks were good and there was nice music playing!! 9.5/10 would go again.

My favorite Thai place! The pad woonsen is amazing and packed with veggies. All of their food tastes fresh and not greasy. Good portion sizes for the price too and the curbside pickup offering will keep me coming back.

Food is still excellent under the new ownership! Very friendly staff. Did a carryout order and it was ready at the time they said.

We ordered take out last night and boy oh boy was it a disaster. We ordered the shrimp salad, which should include shrimp, scallops, squid, and muscles. It was only 3 pieces of shrimp and none of the other food on the description on their menu. Then we ordered the shrimp spring rolls, on peice of small shrimp per spring roll. It was pretty much just lettuce even though we paid extra for shrimp. We also ordered the steamed flat rice noodles which we did not receive. The teriyaki salmon was absolutely disgusting. Didn’t even seem like it was actually salmon, maybe it was due to the fact that the fish was beyond over cooked. To make matters worse, we all got sick from the food. Last night was a miserable night for my entire family. Worst meal I have had in the entire Chicagoland area out of every restaurant I have been to since moving here almost 2 years ago.
