After living in Chicago for a few years, I moved back to South Bend, and the pizza options around just haven't been the same. But then I tried Luigi's. A little out of the way for me. I've finally found that excellent cracker crust I've been missing! Generous sauce. And they used fresh mushrooms. This is the pizza I've been looking for!

I don't remember the first time I had luigis pizza since it was over 50 years ago. It's still at the top of my list for thin crust pizza. I love the pizza sauce they use and there sausage is amazing. I live in Chicago, but Luigis the king of the thin crust.

This is amazing pizza and it's way under the Radar unless you know the area. I'd put it up against anyone in town, Barnaby's, Rocco's, Bruno's etc. She comes out on top 9/10.

I wish we had one close. I had my first Luigi's over 40 years ago. Now it's a rare treat when I am intown to visit family. I have had pizza from over 100 pizza parlors and no one does it better.

Wow! Been in the area for only 6 months and I finally found a great pizza place! I can't say enough about how friendly staff is. Store is "old school" walk up take out store. Pizzas still made in original 1950's oven. Sauce good, all meat and veggie.products fresh. Will definitely being ordering again!

I wasn’t really impressed with the pizza or the sides of wings and garlic bread. It was alright at best. I love thin crust pizza, but for the price I would have rather had a frozen pizza. Despite taste being meh, their staff went above okay standards! They gave us plenty of to go parmesan cheese cups and red pepper flacks! Even though the line for pick up was a few people deep, we didn’t didn’t wait too long to get our order and everyone was being filed through in a timely fashion.

We ordered delivery and the food was delicious. The pizza was great and received a generous portion of spaghetti. Luigi's is always tasty.

My son and I both really like Luigis pizza 🍕. I think it’s the best pizza 🍕 around but that’s my personal opinion. I think there portions are very fair for the price. I’ve been getting pizza 🍕 from Luigi’s for years and it’s really good. The restaurant is very clean and you can actually see how clean & organized the place is from the front of the kitchen area where you pay.

Just ordered from Luigi's for the first time ever and was not disappointed. Cheesy bread was simply delicious. Bread was light and fluffy and full of fresh mozzarella. Meatza pizza crust was thin, but light and airy. I was shocked when my 11 year old ate each slice including the crust. He normally NEVER eats the crust. Overall, very tasty pizza....will definitely be returning. P.S. Tammy was absolutely delightful 😊.

The pepi with jalapenos is good. Next time I would get bacon on it as well ! Half was plenty . Only open after 4 pm. The atmosphere is old school pizza place kinda nostalgic. Staff was friendly. Spaghetti w meatballs is enough for 2 as well.

Very quaint little restaurant with dine in seating or takeout availability. The food was great with polite staff and wish we had stayed in the area longer to try more but the pizza and side of meatballs are both highly recommended.

I grew up with this pizza, and it's the best thin-crust pizza around, hands down, to me. Always fantastic, always friendly. You can eat there, but it's not really intended as a sit-down restaurant, so there's not a ton of space. I always carry out anyway. They've been a staple in River Park for decades!

The workers behind the counter were very nice and friendly. I had such a pleasant time talking to them that we almost forgot to pay. The pizza and garlic bread were great, specially for the price!

The best pizza located within South Bend city limits. They are friendly and efficient in their operation.

Atmosphere is kind of cool you can feel the history when you walk in through the front door, old cool school style employees are professional until they know what they're doing. Unfortunately for me, this style of pizza is just not my taste very thin and kind Bland. We got a pepperoni bacon and black olive pizza bacon had a very old taste kind of ruin the whole pizza flavor the crust had kind of a cardboard taste.

We ordered 2 identical 16" pizzas, 6 toppings, double sausage, double mushrooms, double cheese with extra sauce. I picked them up at store, upon my arrival at 35 minute time 1pizza just came out of oven, other pizza, elderly lady told me they forgot to make 2 pizzas. They were just putting 2nd pizza in oven. After I waited 20 minutes, got pizzas home. 1 pizza seriously lighter. By weighing them 1 pizza not 6 toppings, weighed 1 LB 8 ounces less than 1st pizza. Called next day to talk to manager, she not there, I complained about obvious weight difference, was told "they not make pizzas that way", excuse was made by 2 different people, called next day, manager still not there, left my phone number. They never called me!!! After 50 years buying their pizzas, we have never been treated so badly. Never going back either!!!

The place was squeaky clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the pizza 🍕 was obviously made with top notch ingredients, the crust was thin and light, the sauce wasn't too sweet or salty and the perfect amount of cheese too make the perfect pie. Definitely a go to for Pizza.

First time trying. 12” Pepperoni, Mushroom and XChesse. The cut and crust are Chicago Tavern style and delicious. Will order again.
