If this place could be given a negative star review I would. Where should I start..... I came in at 3am after traveling for 10 hrs. I could have made a reservation for $68 through a 3rd party as I stood in the lobby. However the non English speaking attendant told me that they would not honor the reservation because it was past their policies check in time. He proceeded to tell me that if I continued with the reservation the check in would be for 3 pm that day. Tired and needing sleep, I reluctantly agreed to pay $126.50 thinking that I could sleep till 2pm and continue my trip, only after they ran my card did they tell me that my check out was for 11am the same day. That my check in was for the PREVIOUS day!!!! That's correct they over charged me and then proceeded to make the reservation for the previous day. To say the least I was less than happy. Instead of trying to argue my point to the night shift attendant. I chose to sleep and address the issue with the manager the next day. I went to my room and the entire floor smelled of mold, cat/dog urine and fish. The room smelled of mold and the TV would not work. I called the front desk to assist and it took them 45 minutes to come to the room, by then I fixed the TV myself. The manager knowing that i came in at 330am (and obviously not caring about my sleep) called my room at 7 am and woke me up to talk. I told him I would be down right away. When I tried to talk to the manager who is apparently the brother of the night shift attendant, all he continued to do was berate me and talk over me when I tried to explain my concern. I am a wyndham platinum member and travel ALOT for work. I know how reservations work. He was trying to tell me that this is the hotel policy. (Which was not stated in print ANYWHERE at the front desk.) He then told me that I am a platinum member and I should know the hotel policies. Which if this is in fact a policy it should be stated somewhere so that consumers is able to decide whether they want to pay the elevated price and be ripped off by being forced to check out at 11am the same day. Because I told the manager that they were taking advantage of a traveler who didn't have any other option because they had already taken my money, and that I was being ripped off. The manager then told me to leave immediately. When I told him I would leave at 11am because I was paid till then. He then threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. Needless to say I didn't leave and the police were not called. I will NEVER stay at this toilet again.

Gross! First off, the sheets smelled! The bedspread and bedskirt had suspicious stains on them like they had never been washed. The carpet was badly stained too. Initially the bathroom looked clean but when I walked barefoot it was greasy feeling. I leaned against the edge of the sink and got something greasy on my pants. I know they are remodeling so I can overlook the antiquated decor, but I can't abide how unclean the room was! My advice - avoid this place!

If I could give this piece of s**t hotel a 0 or negative star, I would. If you are ok with having a manager that claims to like to watch you come in and out on the cameras and comments on everything you’re doing this is the place for you. Don’t even get me started on the mold smelling rooms, the broken tv and remote, or the broken dresser. Nothing like having a family that owns the hotel watch you from across the hall, have conference meetings right outside your door or claim to be stalking you on the cameras. Then when confronted, trying to kick you out and keep your money for your stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

0 out of 5 stars for this one. We scheduled for an early check in and our room wasn't ready. Pool was gross and didn't have that clean chlorine smell. There wasn't an extra bedding set for our pull out sofa and when I went to the front desk they had no extra blankets. Wouldn't give us extra pillows. We only got 2 extra towels when asked. 2 of the 3 mornings we had to ask them to refill the pancake batter. They were out of pool towels twice. The elevator broke the last night we stayed. Staff was just rude. Not a good experience and won't stay here again.

This hotel has the friendliest front desk staff. The rooms and hotel are clean, super quiet and always smell good. Palak (manager at front desk) is the most helpful, friendliest and nicest people I've met in awhile. I will continue to stay here when I'm in South Bend!

Kids loved the pool. It was smaller and cold but perfect for my little fish. Breakfast was good. They had apple juice, oj, tea, coffee, toast, bagels, yogurt, produce, cereal, and waffles. Our room had major carpet stains & dirty mirror when arriving. Also a confusion on deposit. I had called day prior and was under the impression my total was different. Had ask for $70 deposit I gave a $100 bill and received a received a receipt for a $100 deposit. As long as I receive my deposit I stand by a 4 star review :)

I've stayed at this place twice now, and I have to say, I'm happy to give them four stars. The staff are super friendly and the place is clean. First time around, I was in a room with a busted lampshade and a bathroom floor that was kinda creaky, but on my second visit, everything was awesome and seemed to have gotten a sweet makeover. It's located pretty close to the bypass, and there's some handy amenities nearby. I haven't tried the pool or breakfast yet, but it's cool that they're an option.

Seediest motel in South bend 10/10 do not recommend thr kind of people that stay here are not family friendly and it's location is so isolated you're going to feel as if there's no escape. The service was terrible staff was unhelpful and the rooms were disgusting honestly we ended up sleeping in the car and finding another room the next day just not worth it

The rooms are ok, they looked clean and the bedding was clean. They have a light breakfast offering which isn't bad to get your day started but the coffee is horrible. Overall not a bad experience for a stay over.

If I could give this place a negative star, best believe me I would. My family was taking a 14 hour car drive. We stopped at 10 hours because we needed sleep. We checked in at 3:30 in the morning and had an absolute horrible experience at the front desk. We showed them the online price and they had us pay double. But we were so tired we did it and payed the double price, Not only that they backed our reservation saying we arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon. That means we had roughly 8 hours in the room. They didn't tell us our checkout time was at 11 am the following 8 hours until after our card had been swiped. When we got into the room the dresser was broken and there was trash on the floor. We tried to turn the t.v. on and it was broken. We called down to the front desk and it took them 45 minutes to come to our room. We talked to the manager in the morning. They called the room at 7:00 am, waking everyone in the room up. When we had gone down stairs to talk to the manager he was extremely rude. He called the room and told us he was available to talk. However he wasn't there. After he returned we talked. He did not care what we had to say. He talked over us and wouldn't let us talk. As we are a wyndham platinum member family "I should have the policy memorized." He kept berating me about this. This place is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, in all our years of living. If I could tell you anything, don't come to this trash hole. They don't hold their word, they change their prices on the spot, and the service is terrible.

We had a very nice stay here. The clerk was very nice. We were comfortable. We felt safe. We couldn't afford like a really expensive hotel so if you're looking for a mid grade place this was very good.

Said since I paid for room on Priceline I had to pay 70 dollar deposit that I would get back when I checked out but never refunded my 70 dollars. Plus the room was dirty, there was a crack pipe found under my blanket and TV didn't work

DO NOT STAY HERE. We came on a football weekend when everything else was booked and had to leave and pay crazy somewhere else. Picture and video evidence of bugs infested into the mattress and beds. This hotel is a HEALTH HAZARD. Horrific and traumatizing experience I have never dealt with a hotel this unclean.

Took the family for swimming and when we got there pool closed. Filthy inside the rooms. Most appliances broke. As we looked at the beds there were bugs. The rooms were not cleaned and the smell was awful. Poor service all away around. He would not let us cancel so we ended up leaving. Would not let children or us adults sleep at a place like this.

the price on internet was $59. we got charged $99+ $25 pet deposit. We stayed in Rolla ,Mo and it was $60 no pet deposit, 1st floor. In south Ben the front desk attendant was a jersey. we got to our room the main light didn't work, we got 2 tiny stinky pillows with stains , and 2 towells... no hand towels, no wash cloths. The filter in AC unit was moldy. It stunk so we checked it out

The rooms are fabulously clean, spacious and well equipped 🀩. I was amazed. I was on a tight budget and needed a room last minute and the professional yet friendly staff worked with me. Thank you guys for everything :) I would recommend this hotel to anyone and most especially room 215 πŸ’

Throwing my opinion out there...$322 for a 5 day stay is absurd and greedy. If they were to have rooms cleaned & everything was to be in working condition then i could see it being some what reasonable, but From what ive read of the reviews it sounds to me like they need an overdue inspection and or establishment shutdown.

This is a lovely place, neat and cozy. The employees both at check in and checkout are very professional and even rendered a helping hand with my van. Such kind folks will stay here again. Highly recommended.

It’s hotel needs work, I need someone there that can repair things not Band-Aid things and make long-term fix us. Went to the room turned on the TV no TV and had the guys come check the TV out one guy stands in here for 15 minutes while the other guy goes to get a remote. Not what you wanna have to deal with when you get your room after driving 13 hours

This place is absolutely disgusting. In a very odd location, in an industrial area. Exterior looked slightly poor, lobby was ok, desk clerk very nice, room COMPLETELY DISGUSTING!! We could not believe the condition of the room, it was filthy. Stains all over the carpet that appeared to be bodily stains. We opened the desk drawer only to find a used syringe, dresser drawer had a plastic knife and food crumbs. Shower was disgusting, towels and washcloths stained and very thin. Bedding was gross. I asked for additional blankets and was told they didn't have any. Thankfully, we just had to sleep there for a few hours, unfortunately, the people above us wanted to party all night. Would not send my worst enemy here!

The guy checking us in was nice and polite. But the sheets and carpet were gross. Looks like it needed a good steam clean. The bathroom was full of other people's hair on sink and bathtub. The pool had nasty things on bottom and smelled of mildew. The breakfast was okay but the front desk employee was on speaker phone throwing out the b word every couple words. You get what you pay for I guess
