We had a canceled flight and were desperate for a room. We went to Brandon, the manager of Embassy Suites, and he was so caring and helped us out tremendously. He is truly an outstanding asset, and we will be back because of him along with Cynthia. I believe her name was at the 530 happy hour. She went out of her way and was so kind, professional, and a joy to speak with. These two employees really made a rough night into an enjoyable one. Thank you both! Rooms are clean, the hotel is great, and has a great bar and excellent breakfast. The entire staff was great!!!

Outstanding new hotel with a great happy hour when it is up and running. The rooms are super nice and include a fridge and microwave. The gym has a great selection of equipment but no filtered water machine. The breakfast was delicious. The potatoes were done perfectly. It’s a little inconvenient that the breakfast starts at 7:30 and not earlier for people trying to hit the road early. The beds are very comfortable. It was frustrating they didn’t have the happy hour running one of the nights. I would still highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The facility seems nice at first glance but from the get go we had a terrible experience with their staff and service at this property. They first cancelled my sisters reservation by accident and then didn’t help find an accommodation and left them to find another hotel that night. They made the mistake of canceling the whole thing instead of 1 night for a 4 night stay. We then proceeded to our room and had kids running up and down the halls all night and when we tried calling the front desk they put us on hold and never picked back up. We sat on hold for 10 mins and gave up. Also don’t waste your time on breakfast. All our food was cold just waiting for it to be cooked and it was sub par to any other hotel breakfast. Out of all the things they could have controlled it would have been their customer service.

Arrived after the notes check in time of 3pm, was told room was upgraded (which was great) but the room was not ready yet. Told likely between 5/5:30 as they were behind due to staffing shortages. Came back at 7:30pm, got room keys, however we arrived to the room to find the door propped open, dirty pile of bed linens on the bedroom floor, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, and a pile of garbage bags. Back downstairs we go to wait at the front desk while they tried to help another guest having their own issues with check in/room. Manager on duty comes up to the front to try and resolve. Given keys to another room that “he personally checked”. Go up to that room, walked passed a pile of sheets in the hallway near the room door and while ok, cleanliness standards not what I would expect from a Hilton brand. Dropped off our items, decided to walk down to get something to eat vs. taking a chance at the hotel restaurant. On our way back, saw the same Mgr on Duty in a alleyway by the hotel with 4-5 other hotel employees chatting and smoking cigarettes. While I get everyone is dealing with staffing issues, maybe it’s time to look at the leadership of the hotel, especially when we stayed at the Hilton Garden the night before that was 3 miles away and no issues whatsoever! Don’t waste your time and money here.

I live out of state and traveled 7 hours to come here for a work conference. It wasn’t until a week after I arrived home that I realized I left one of my bags in the room. They went above and beyond to make sure my property was kept safe until I could retrieve it. The staff was so kind throughout my stay and the breakfast was absolutely killer. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Embassy Suites!

Stayed here in March for work, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was great. Short walk to many restaurants and right across from campus. The staff was very helpful and informative. Parking garage fee was rolled right into the room expense for convenience. Would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Nicely appointed. The front desk staff was so kind and attentive. We didn't have breakfast but I did hear it was very nice spread. That being said, our short stay was not what I had expected. There were zero towels except one hand towel in the room. Found this out after getting into the shower. Then we found adult underwear that did not belong to us leftover in the bathroom. When I tried to call downstairs to the front desk to request towels, the room phones had no chords attached. So no way to make a call, thus I went downstairs. The overhead lights in the bedroom didn't have working bulbs so the switch was useless for that and the desk lamp. Towels took 45 minutes to receive, however, it was after 10pm at night so there wasn't but one additional staff member on site. The location is great - just outside the campus walls and attached to a shopping and apartment commons. I didn't realize it was $14/day to park until after booking, so just be aware that is an additional fee (the parking fee pops up after booking confirmation at which point to you can add it to the bill then, or they'll charge you at check in). Understandable during the football season, but I feel it's unnecessary in the summer. No reason to charge non-football weekends (we booked in the early summer).

The check-in experience was disappointing – no welcome, no welcome bag, and unclear parking instructions, with an incorrect charge adding to the frustration. Despite this rocky start, the breakfast was excellent, and the evening drinks by the fire were a pleasant touch. The room, though decent, lacked noteworthy views. Conveniently close to Notre Dame, making walking easy. Kudos to the stellar housekeeping team for their excellent service. A mixed bag, but redeeming aspects.

My stay started off great. The location is amazing and the room was cleaner then most in the South Bend area however other issues ruined our stay. Upon checking out we found that they charged my card for $20 and refused to identify what those charges were. And on the second day I re-booked through Priceline but they took it upon themselves to rebook at their rate which was substantially more then the Priceline rate. All in all this would have been a pleasant stay if it wasn't for the fact that the hotel charged us much mulch more then we should have had to pay.

Stayed here back in August for a week. The room was never cleaned nor housekeeping ever showed up. I did request it every day and I was given a lame excuse: oh!, you had the do not disturb sign (it was not), oh! you had personal items on your bed (there were none), oh! you had personal items on your trash! (of course there was an empty bottle of water)! those excuses were the reason I was given each day for them not to have housekeeping clean the room. We were a big group and all of us never in the 6 nights had our rooms cleaned. Forward two months later, I arrived two nights ago and guess what, SAME PROBLEM! no housekeeping yesterday! what was the excuse? I am new to the hotel, I will let management know in the morning. Unbelievable! I am disappointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel anymore, despite the fact it has beautiful facilities but does not have the workforce to maintain it during its guests' stay.

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago (2022) for an event at the Joyce Center across the street. 2 Years ago I couldn’t have had a better experience it was perfect. I stayed here again over the weekend because of my previous experience I had to book here. Looked to get a room in November for my weekend it was sold out and was the same for 2 months. Called the hotel and asked if something would come up and a room would open let me know ( NO CALL BACK). 3 days before my event they had rooms available so I canceled other reservations to stay here. I applied for Early Check In arrived early they said they couldn’t give me a room early. (Not a Problem) I’ll just check in at 4pm. I come back at 4pm room still ain’t ready waited an hour and 15 minutes before i had to leave to get to my event. I got a text 3 hours after check in that my room was finally ready. there were several other people having the same problem as me. I can only imagine how bad it could have turned out for a fall Notre Dame football game! Would have been nice to relax and shower before my event and got my room at the promised check in time. NEXT TIME DONT OPEN UP ROOMS IF YOU DONT HAVE THE STAFF TO HANDLE CLEANING THE ROOM!!

Save your money/Hilton honors points- Great hotel in a great location, but seriously lacking in customer service and cleanliness. We encountered several issues throughout our stay and not a single one was resolved or apologized for. Floors and shower were dirty upon arrival in both rooms. Room had no power on one side, so lighting and television did not work. "Sorry, we can not move you, we are sold out" was all we got. Needed towels, took an hour "sorry, we are sold out and busy". Wanted to eat dinner and enjoy beverages from the hotel on the outside patio and were told to leave because my daughter got a pizza from nearby, since their restaurant could not accommodate. We were told we would have to sit at the bar to eat/drink (but my 6 yr old wasn't allowed) or find a seat in the hotel lobby. Public restrooms were not touched for the 2 nights/3 days we were there. No toilet paper/paper towels. I asked to speak with a hotel representative and still no return email/phone call....... 5 weeks later.

This Hilton property is by far one of the best that I have stayed in. Brienna and Aryriana goes above and beyond the threshold of customer service in Traditions Restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing. As a Diamond member that have stayed in Hilton properties both inside and outside the US, this property is top 5 in customer service including the Hilton Walk in Jumeirah Beach Dubai UAE

I’m in hotel every week, hotel is nice clean well located. The staff is very friendly, ready to help. Breakfast is delicious, very well served. Gym is decent for morning work out. Happy hour is big plus, Fred, the bartender, is a great guy, very friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean. Strongly recommend.

Fantastic breakfast, free appetizers from 5-6:30p, nice lobby, mostly friendly staff, spacious rooms with their own fridge and microwave, descent weight room/gym, and conveniently located. Sadly, one star off for not having a business center (computers) in the lobby and one star off for not being bus driver friend (did not accommodate request for late checkout). Other that that, great hotel!

Everything was top notch for our recent stay. Great location for attending an ND bball game. Check in, parking, happy hour , breakfast, fitness room, and check out all solid. The entire staff was courteous and very friendly. Had a minor issue with thermostat when we checked in and maintenance was sent to the room immediately and rectified the problem.

Fantastic Embassy Suites. This is a newer style of the hotel chain that I've not seen before. They've abandoned the atrium style construction and this was much more of a traditional hotel. The king room was amazing and felt like a stylish New York city apartment than a hotel room. Small kitchenette, dining table, sofa and TV make up the entry room. A long stylish bathroom accessible by the living area and bedroom. And the bed was absolutely the best; a beautiful nights sleep.

Love the location of the hotel, the rooms are smaller than other Embassy Suites. Happy hour had great drinks and appetizers. Due to COVID the breakfast buffet was not as good as normal. But the gentleman who served our breakfast was kind and efficient.

The location, parking, bar, restaurant, etc were very nice. Once we got into our room, things changed. The floors were disgusting, the bed had a small bug in it, the showers were gross, the fridge didn’t work. We travel here often for work and will stay at the Morris Inn.

Very nice hotel. Lobby very welcoming with happy hour drinks. Room was very clean and nice. Restaurant/bar made great drinks and had really good food. Pay to park here in a parking garage as expected in larger downtowns. Across the street of Notre Dame campus.

Marissa threw on a brilliantly designed event for our team. David arranged millions of rooming list details swiftly and responsively. Banquet staff was indeed amazing, they were consistenly present, hard working, and helpful during our two days. The chefs made food that was outstanding and very highly loved by all. We will certainly be returning clients. The location is so convenient near the campus allowing easy walking and navigating to restaurants.

Incredibly room square footage compared to the traditional Embassy Suites room size. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower wall dispensers. Omelet cook was incredibly rude and closed the omelet station 30 minutes before the end of breakfast service and wore no sanitary hair netting while cooking and preparing food. Very disappointing experience for the relative newness of hotel and higher price point due to location next to Notre Dame.

This hotel never disappoints. I have been traveling here for work for several years, and the service is always top-notch. The rooms are excellent, and if you get a university facing view, Notre Dame is a beautiful sight. The restaurant in house offers good food, and is much better than most hotel restaurants. The bar in the restaurant also offers a wide variety and excellent cocktails for a hotel bar. This is my choice whenever I come to South Bend.

First with the positive the bartender at happy hour is very nice, and so is the security guard on 2-3rd shift. If I could rate a 0 I would. When I went to bed after doing my computer work, I all the sudden felt something wet, my bed was wet! A BIG WET SPOT.... I called down to the front desk on my Cell phone because the phone in the room phone wasn't working, they wanted to bring me up more bedding lol the mattress was wet also. Around 11:00pm I got moved to another room, NO KEY for all night, some lame excuse, waited in the lobby for almost an hour because I couldn't get back up to my room in WET CLOTHES, for security to let me in. The front desk guy was very rude. I called the Hilton Number, I was supposed to get the room for free. The next morning the manager was somewhat apologetic, but I feel I wasn't taken seriously. The security and the morning front desk lady seemed to care more than the management. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Great location, excellent service (Amy was great at the front desk!), and very spacious and comfortable rooms. I also really enjoyed the fresh breakfast every morning, with an omelette station.

Hotel feels a bit upscale. Service is friendly, efficient, and informative. Breakfast and an evening refreshment reception are included. Rooms are clean and spacious. Located right on Notre Dame campus. There's a restaurant on site as well. Note: They don't do room service (although there's a button on the phone for it.) You'll have to order carry out and grab it yourself but that's not a big deal.

What a fabulous facility! Loved our stay here- especially the staff who we’re warm friendly and very helpful - shout out to Kristine, aAdrian, Gail and particularly Jamaal! The out door fire pit and the herds in every pot on the patio made the evenings so very beautiful I forgot a treasured item in the room and they worked very hard to return it to me. Forever grateful! See you again soon!

Hotel was nice and and staff were generally helpful and kind. Attended an event where I overheard two of the older lady’s that were hotel supplied bar tenders being rude to guest throughout most of the evening. I would not host any events using these services nor recommend a friend to use their service. Rooms were great!

This outstanding hotel is across the street from Notre Dame and actually appears to be a part of the campus. We were fortunate to be traveling mid week rather than a football weekend, so were able to get a beautiful, well appointed room. From an evening reception with complimentary drinks and appetizers to a comfortable bed, a large screen TV, an exceptionally clean bathroom and a much better than average complimentary cafeteria style breakfast, we felt treated as welcome guests. It is easily accessible to and from US 31 and the Indiana toll road.

My wife and I had an excellent stay here! A HUGE shout out goes to Taylor Greaves, she was awesome, from before check in to after check out. Taylor went above and beyond, assuring that our 39th wedding anniversary stay was special, awesome and memorable. Taylor definitely deserves 20 stars...and a raise! Because of Taylor, we will be back! Bill and Donna Carney

A very nice and clean hotel! Very convenient to restaurants and ND. It was nice to be able to walk to the stadium and the campus. Also the staff was great! Especially Lesley and Tina at the front desk. They we a huge help in securing another room for us.

Great looking hotel with nice and helpful staff. However, the beds are unbelievably awful and uncomfortable. My guest and I had a very hard time falling asleep. I can't express how awful the bed was.

  • 2/5 Roselene L. 1 year ago on Google
It’s super overpriced, not clean enough. We stains in our sheets, not enough blankets and it’s an old hotel. Breakfast is great, but takes forever to replace coffee. I mean if you are going to overcharge, then it’s better to have an excellent service. I had no choice on picking a hotel.

Staying at Embassy Suites is such a joy...if ever our family had an issue it was quickly resolved. Thanks to the staff for taking great care to the many details that have to happen to make a home away from home run so smoothly! Great job....especially to Michael at the front desk and Chef Mario and Chef Patrick.
