Shane with Citrus Homes in Bradenton, worked with us in planning our new home. He was such a super person to work with. As you can see in the inside pictures, it was when I was adding some of my personal touches, so things are a bit messy. In this model we put a door in the corner of the living room and it opened the whole area up. I would recommend, to anyone who is planning a home, to go and make an appointment with Shane. Wonderful person.

I had a great experience working with Shane Robson-Smith of Citrus Meadowood in Bradenton. I wanted some ideas that were not on the plan for my kitchen and Shane and Sally (from Jacobsen design center) were both very helpful. Came out just like I had hoped. Shane also was helpful in guiding me in selecting upgrades that would be most important to me, without spending a fortune. To sum it up, Shane knows what he is doing and very pleasant and professional to work with!

Citrus Homes allowed us to customize our home, which was a big plus, because most other manufacturers we visited with only had set model plans to choose from. We enjoyed working with the staff throughout our build. They took the time to listen to our needs and worked to meet them. Shane, the sales representative was very helpful from the beginning and made himself available to address any questions or concerns. Highly recommended.

Working with Citrus Homes was a great experience. Shane Robson Smith made the process of putting a home on our lot, while 1200 miles away, so easy. He addressed all our concerns and changes, in a timely manor. The home turned out beautiful. Irma addressed all the fixes we requested and the repair people were able to take care of every concern we had. We had a Manatee, built as a TNR, with drywall throughout and 9 ft. ceilings. The home is well built, energy efficient, and we are so glade we went with a Jacobsen Home. We highly recommend a Jacobsen home and Citrus Homes handling the sales and service.

We love our new Jacobsen Home! It’s comfortable, quiet, energy efficient and beautiful. And we can’t say enough about Shane Robson-Smith and the wonderful people who worked with us at Citrus/Meadowood Homes. Even with the unique challenges and delays our project posed - a custom built, triple wide with an attached garage located in a FEMA VE-Zone, working with the team spearheaded by Shane was a great experience. The team was with us at each step of the process, offering suggestions, mitigating problems, and presenting solutions. When we first met with Shane, we handed him 8-pages of construction details and design and finishing features. We well-remember the expression on his face as he perused our list of wants, needs and the quality construction we were expecting. We had spent over a year conceptualizing a design, measuring, visiting showrooms, drawing and modifying blueprints, gleaning ideas from friends with new homes, and doing extensive on-line research, before deciding on a Jacobsen Home. Rather than our lengthy wish list putting him off, Shane leaned back in his chair, smiled broadly and said, “This is great. Let’s get started”. He embraced our ideas, recommended additional features, and the year-long adventure began. Due to engineering constraints on a manufactured home and because of very specific VE-Zone regulations, our learning curve was steep, and there were a few bumps in the road, but even through the glitches, Shane guided us skillfully and cheerfully through the design and building process. Nothing was too small or too large for him to address, and as the project evolved, he engaged superior sub-contractors, companies and workmen: Alan at HiTech, whose firm engineered and created 46-unique building piers on which to set the units; Juli at Burns Kitchen and Design in Lakeland, who designed our beautiful custom kitchen; Keith at Lily Electrical, who enhanced our electrical capacity for the boat lift, dock and garage; and Marty at Bahrs, whose team met special FEMA and Manatee Co. wind and water VE-Zone requirements to skirt the units, construct the porches, and built an attached garage with flow-through louver insets. We’ve lived in the home now for several months, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the construction quality and the design choices we made. Shane and the entire Citrus Meadowood team (Jan, Greg, Donna and Grace) have been great to work with. Throughout the entire project, they have been friendly, efficient, professional and responsive. We have always been treated as valued customers; in fact, we’ve been treated as family.

We recently received the keys to our beautiful new home! The Customer service from Citrus Homes has been great! Our project manager, Ed Carls was/is Fantastic. He kept us updated on the progress of the house over the past few months, and was always quick to respond to our emails and texts. He patiently addressed our questions and concerns along the way! We recently purchased a new home from Citrus Homes Meadowood Homes in Bradenton. The crew at the Bradenton location was great to work with. Our salesman, Greg Auen, was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the whole process. He helped us get the model/floor plan we wanted by making some modifications to it, so it would fit on our lot! He was very responsive to our calls and emails. We highly recommend asking for Greg Auen if you are interested in one of their homes.

The staff at Citrus Meadowood Homes have been outstanding to work with us, they seem to care very much about their customers, we've been in the office when other customers have came in and they treat everyone with up most respect. Anytime we have had questions or concerns they all have went above and beyond to assist us and we thank them all very much for all they do.

The sales team at Citrus Homes Meadowood Homes of Florida was knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to assist. They patiently answered all my questions and provided me with detailed information about the various home models, customization options, and pricing.

Having an issue with a unit that was set next door. Didn't follow site plans as approved by the association. Will not call back. There is a 5 foot setback and they are a 1 foot into the setback and still need to put in the steps up to the unit. Claims they followed plan but site map but I proof they didn't. Association will not approve the steps inside setback. Shoddy cement work.

Greg Auen, Donna Rauch, Monique Malanowicz and Ed Carls helped make our building experience outstanding! Greg assisted Mary and I design a beautiful manufactured home. Donna worked with us on the certificate of occupancy and continues to assist with the 30 and 90 day concerns. Ed was on site to make sure the construction was finished to our expectations. Monique Malanowicz played an important role in making sure the lender and trailer park had all the requirements processed to finalize the financing. The team made sure our experience was fantastic....in fact they continue to assist us as we move into our new home this week! Thank you so very much.
