This review is not food related as there was no problem with that part. Let's talk about the service or lack there of. We placed an online order and scheduled pickup for 6 PM. This gave them almost 30 minutes to prepare the order. We got there a 6 to pick up the order but it wasn't ready. Another gentleman had already been waiting 10 minutes for the order he placed ahead as well. The young lady working the register was in the weeds. The person who seemed to be the manager was just casually strolling around the kitchen area. Anyway, I finally got the order 15 minutes later and took it home. When I opened it, the mashed potatoes had no gravy and there were none of the sauces we requested either. What a terrible experience. Stay away from this KFC.

They completely got my order wrong after I watched her double check my order… and I live in Palmetto, stopped on my way home… drove all the way home and honestly if the food didn’t look so disgusting I probably would’ve just eaten what I got, but this isn’t even close to my order. I got a five piece tender meal, two sides, which were mashed potatoes and gravy for both, a biscuit and a drink. And this is what I got. (Pics below) Also when you go to call their establishment? It just goes to the line is busy so I couldn’t even get a hold of them on the phone to at least get my money back but I will be stopping by tomorrow. I just cannot comprehend how you cannot get a fast food order correctly. Even after you check it twice.

My husband spent over $50 so that I wouldn't have to cook, he got home and we realized that they forgot our entire order of chicken tenders for the children. I called the store to ask for a partial refund, they said they cannot do that and the manager argued with me insisting that it was put in the bag. She said she could pull the video up.. well I wish she would because I have never been so insulted by an incompetent manager. Customer service is a 0 star for me, the food also sucked and the biscuits were like hockey pucks. It's a no for me 👎👎👎

Update!! They screw you and don’t take their business seriously. The sign on the drive thru speaker says chicken sandwich $4.49 and they said the total was 5.89. I said the sign says $4.49 and all she said was dats roose, dats roose. I can only assume the manager meant that’s the rules, but that looks like false advertising to me!! This place is managed like it’s not a serious business. Horrible staff, always grumpy, they don’t listen to the order, so they rarely get it right, AND the food sucks. EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO

Order online threw door dash half my order is missing. I call the store they tell me call door dash. I call door dash they tell me to call the store and it's nothing but a run around game. So now I all I have from my order is sides and that is it. Worst experience ever. I will never order threw kfc again at this location nor will I make a order threw door dash. Just because I ordered threw the actual store no one will do anything so I am out almost 40 dollars because of this. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not go to this location and do not order threw door dash worst experience ever with both companies.

I've eaten at least 50 Kentucky Fried Chicken Sandwiches. All of them DELICIOUS! I got 2 Sandwiches today and they were small, dried, no pickles, and only one had mayo. Manager and employee very rude! (Round trip 4 miles and I did it twice) The Colonel would be disappointed!

6/28/2023 approximately 4pm I went to this location to get some chicken. Upon arriving in the parking lot , there was a strong odor of marijuana, the drive through speaker was blocked off by 2 cars ( not at the speaker , but parked just behind it to stop any real customers from ordering) There were 2 associates in uniform outside these vehicles (a male and a female) along with 1 person not in uniform , smoking. There was only 1 other car in the parking lot. I decided to NOT order anything from this location, and immediately left and went to a proper establishment. I think it's VERY unprofessional to be smoking outside of your drive thru, and I don't see how this location can even get sales with the drive through speaker blocked off by employee vehicles. Someone from corporate needs to do an honest evaluation of the management and crew at this establishment, I'm sure your not paying them to only smoke, and to drive away potential customers. I would NEVER trust food from this location. And this leaves me not wanting to purchase anything from any KFC location in the future as this seems to be a trend for this company. I do NOT want anything , or even an apology, I just would like you to have some honest feedback about this location. I should have taken a photo to add to google.

Stopped by the store 2 hours before close. Had originally placed an online order and tried picking up inside as the app told me to do. The doors were locked. I went through the drive thru instead, the girl told me to order when ready, I stated I had a pickup order. Then she said they were closed for the night and I would not receive my food. Which makes no sense, it was already paid for. And she was still taking orders. Was told to “get a refund from the app” when it wouldn’t even give me the option. Honestly horrible service.

While I enjoyed the new Beyond Meat chicken nuggets (I found them crispy and very flavorful). My wife on the other hand did not like her chicken sandwich. It looked nothing like any of the advertisements! It was flattened out, barely coated and it just looked pitiful.

The chicken and food were excellent! I have loved the original recipe for 50 years! The big box combo has great value for $10.99 and includes 3 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, a biscuit, and a drink. I love the biscuits. They are delicious! Keep up the good work KFC at 1420 Cortez Rd. W., Bradenton, FL!

We ordered online for the fill up deal. Our card was charged and everything. When we arrived to pick up our food, the employee notified us that they did not have the items we had ordered. When we asked if we could a refund, all she told me was to contact customer service. I stayed on hold for 45 minutes, just to be disconnected from the call. I still haven't been reimbursed for my money. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for stealing hard earned money from struggling families. My advise is to work on y'all's online ordering system communication with the restaurant locations. Also, the restaurant should be held responsible for refunds. Waiting 5-7 days for my money that only took y'all's company 2 seconds to get from my account is ridiculous.

Francisco served us at the drive thru. He was so nice and kind. He deserves to be rewarded. He made me and my grandson feel very special. He had the best customer service. I hope I see him again on our next visit. Thank you Francisco.

Every time ive stopped by to get a meal from here the people were rude. An employee today was stating that I was wrong for the price I mentioned and was very rude about it instead of correcting me in a nicer manner. He was going to charge me $38 for a meal that was the 5pc tender box meal which is around $11. He seemed like he was in a rush which I didn’t see why since they weren’t busy. I usually don’t write reviews but definitely wouldn’t recommend going here.

We hadn't had KFC for years and it sounded good. We got extra crispy bucket and it was SOGGY! No crisp, let alone EXTRA crispy! The biscuits were hockey pucks. The mashed potatoes were ok. We ordered Tenders and they forgot the 4 dipping sauces. It's ok.. we will never have the urge for KFC ever again. Ever. Publix fried chicken is 1000% better!! Fresh Crispy and waaaay less expensive!!

My grandmother and I went through the drive thru that was extremely busy at the time and had the pleasure to meet a young man named Fransisco . He stayed calm, professional and very polite during the rush. We were very impressed. Thank you Fransisco.

Again I was not given what I ordered when I got home!! On 7/3/23 @ 8:20pm at the KFC on Cortez Rd, I told the order taker at the drive up that a wanted 2 sides of corn that she confirmed with me before she made my order. When I got home I found that I was given 1 side of mashed potatoes with grave and another side of Cole slaw which I threw out in the garbage. I never asked for these sides. Your staff is incompetent and does not review the orders before giving it to the customer! Maybe they need to be trained better!!!

It’s lunch time. No food is ready. 10 people in the back walking around doing everything but cooking. If crew can’t, all those manager standing around should be doing something. Wow. Hope food is good.

The OG take out Chicken. Everything was good, chicken was fresh and tasty. LOVE KFC, just wish they still had grilled or roasted chicken in addition to the worlds best fried.

This is the worst kfc I've ever been to in my life. Rude, ghetto employees and they never get your order correct. On top of that the chicken is disgusting and old. They don't change the oil they fry the chicken in so you will get a black, nasty piece of chicken. If you don't believe me, do yourself a favor and read the other reviews. This store should be permanently shut down.

I went there today. Was told i couldn't get a leg and thigh 12 count bucket. Had to only get a mixed bucket. Came with 3 sides. I ordered all fries. Didn't even fill the container. And received no cookies, even tho the app i downloaded and shared my location said this kfc was able to provide these items, definitively stated i could get all this for the same price. Just go down the street to popeyes. Its much better. And the people are actually ok at customer service.

They don't deserve a 1 star. We got the large Coleslaw. It was half full. We got 2 of the bowls with the mash potatoes, corn, gravy, chicken, and cheese. It sure didn't look like the picture. Couldn't find the gravy or corn. The chicken was as hard as a rock and dry!!! As far as the owner/manager. Don't bother giving your generic reply. Do something about it. People spend their hard earned money at your establishment to get that they ordered and have it edible.

My family loves KFC. The chicken is always good and, for my part, I am glad they stopped the biscuits,cake instead😋 But they must have changed their recipe for the cole slaw, I was disappointed with that. And the corn was horrible, it looked and tasted like it was very old. If it wasn't several miles away, I would have taken it back and complained

Love KFC chicken, this one sucked. Paid with a voucher to the unfriendly manager. My order was wrong went back because they would not answer the phone. Get home to find my 3rd order was also messed up. Food is good if they could be nice and fulfill the order correctly

I go to this location couple times a week. The last 3 Sundays my orders have been messed up.last Sunday I order 4 meals my drinks were wrong my sides were wrong. They had the door locked the drive threw was packed. I set threw it to order then had to sit threw it again to try and get my order right. I told the gentleman that I ordered lemonades he even repeated it back. I got some nasty watered down red drink. He said ok but wouldn’t make it right by giving me lemonades. Then I asked for coleslaw and Mac n cheese. I got fries and mashed potatoes. He acted as though I was inconveniencing him by asking for correct sides. I don’t understand I was the one inconvenienced. I drove home realized everything that was wrong drove back had to sit threw a packed line. I was very polite never got upset. He cheated me my drinks. Begrudgingly gave me my sides that were wrong. Today I go to drive threw and my sides from the tender meal are wrong it’s just aggravating to keep getting wrong items.

We ordered for pick up and I wish we could give a zero star review! I spent over 100.00 to feed my family and they missed 3 sides of mashed potatoes , two sides of cole slaw, fries biscuits and our half gallon of sweet tea! The chicken was burnt and no meat on the bones! The one order of mashed potatoes for 8 people had no gravy! This store needs to be shut down!!! This isn’t the first time our order was halfway missing. From the looks of the other reviews whoever Manages this store is NOT CAPABLE! Never again will we order from this store.

I've been here a few times and my order has been wrong every single time. It's always missing sauce, gravy, honey, biscuits, etc. One time I got a chicken little with two top buns on it. How does that even happen? Just pure laziness and lack of oversight.

I got cole slaw, fries, and a biscuit, and drive away a happy vegetarian camper. There's not much there for a vegetarian to eat, but they have THE BEST cole slaw in the world. With the chopped cabbage and tangy dressing, you simply can NOT beat KFC Cole Slaw! BRING IT! Now, as for the French Fries. What happened to them? They used to be potato wedges with lovely seasonings of them, close to the original chicken seasonings, but not quite... Or maybe quite, but what do I know, either way, they are GONE to be replaced with boring, plain fries that, while crispy, were really nothing to write home to. But, KFC pulled through again, and hit another home run with their always buttery, tender, and warm biscuit... I should got two. When ya eat KFC, ya gotta say, "Screw the calories" or you'll never forgive yourself. They didn't give me any honey, but that's ok, their idea of honey isn't truly honey. It's not even called honey. It's called honey sauce or something silly like that. (So, it's probably vegan, seeing how real honey is not vegan because it's produced by an "animal", and anything that is an animal product or that is produced by an animal is off limits to a true vegan... Which I am not). Anyway, the picture is obviously (I hope) not mine. I added it to show you how FINE KFC Cole slaw is. Do you know how hard it is to find a photo of just real KFC Cole slaw? 🥹 Be well. Eat well.
