I’d love nothing more than to give this place five stars but I just can’t bring myself to do it. It’s not fair to all the other well-rounded eateries out there. The decor is fresh and clean, we were pleasantly surprised. The menu was diverse and offered plenty to choose from, in fact it has us waffling between a couple of no-lose options. Food came out pretty quick and tasted good. So what’s the rub? The service. Sadly, our server was quite good, she was friendly and attentive. The issue we had was some of the other staff. We were seated near the kitchen, but I’m not sure it mattered, a couple of servers were in a heated dispute nearly our entire visit. They continually yelling at each other every time they would disappear to the kitchen. Things being slammed around and at one point they were so wound up we were waiting for a fist fight to break out. Beyond that, the bad attitude carried itself out to the floor as they were openly criticizing and complaining about guests when leaving the other tables and walking around the front of house. I get it, some patrons are jerks. I don’t know the details, but that comes with the territory. Disappointing that these servers didn’t have the self awareness to realize their behavior was unprofessional. Even worse that their co-workers didn’t try and deescalate the situation over the 35+ minutes they continued to carry on. Inexcusable that the management didn’t immediately put an end to it. Heck, for all we know it might have been management that was carrying on. Regardless, ownership should take note, as it seems the common thread to anything other then glowing 5 star reviews ties back to your people issues. Great little dinning spot, service seems to be hit and miss. Sadly our first visit was a resounding miss (unless you’re a breakfast MMA fan, I suppose).

I visted on a Sunday afternoon for a lovely lunch with my family. The food was delicious, flavorful, and had great presentation. Service was prompt and everyone was very friendly. Great experience and will definitely return to try more of their tasty menu items.

I got the country fried steak and eggs and I've never eaten anything faster. The best breakfast around here by far. Prices were amazing and service was quick.

What a great all around experience! Our server, Sarah, was so friendly and the service was outstanding. The food was delicious! This is a family owned establishment and the atmosphere is super fun and relaxed. We will be back again next year, for sure🙂

These folks are wonderful. And the food is good. Now I will say sometimes there's a little bit of a wait because it's hard to get help. But I sure enjoy this place. I had gotten out of the hospital, and I did a phone order and they brought it out to my car. And that was really nice. I think they did a special for me and they didn't even know who I was. So I'm pretty loyal to this place when I want a local breakfast joint.

Honestly one of the best diners I’ve been to. They have the most warming environment, their restaurant is filled with love as soon as you walk in. Not only the customer service but the food, Wow!!!! It’s the best. They really take the time to make sure you enjoy your meal while you’re there. I highly recommend

Stopped by with a coworker while trucking our way through. Super awesome little Mom and Pop place. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. If ever in the area again, will definitely make an effort to stop in for some grub. Bravissimo folks... Job well done.

Just went here for lunch. The people who owned Fiona's at a different location that closed 2 years ago has purchased The Recipe Box and for now there's a banner saying Fiona's. They just opened yesterday, July 1st. We ate past 1pm and the place was still half full on a Tuesday! The food was marvelous! Largest club sandwich I've had! Their sweet potato fries are delightful and their prices are very reasonable. You need to try this place. Recipe Box menu through the summer and then they'll be adding some of their own. Staff are very nice and helpful. We will return!!

Awesome family restaurant. We love their breakfast menus.

We are greeted after a couple of minutes. The fabric of the chairs was peeled of on all chairs which was not pleasing to the eye Once we sat down we waited about 10 minutes before getting service. Once the food was there everything was fine. Food is pretty good.

Just for starters! My father comes weekly there! My issue was 2nd day open after hurricane, My dad and myself went. We were placed on list for 20 mins, no biggie! When we were seated, Took 10 mins to get drinks! We ordered! There were so many people, and staff was doing jam up job, Specially the one we call little bit! There was one I don’t know name, due to no name tags, But you best bet I know her face. She was one who was having bad day. My dad asked her for refill and wanted to know how much longer, very nicely! This woman says I get your drink, But you ain’t been here no hour! Hateful as she was walking away! I even said dad,Do you get treated this way when your alone? He said no never! I suggest training employees to leave your problems and attitudes outside, We all just went through a hurricane, we all had damage, and went without power! You also deal with mainly elderly retired customers! To see how my dad and I was treated! Not sure if he will be back, Thank you to the ones who were busting but with a smile!

Family owned restaurant with fantastic food and friendly staff! I’m a Southerner and they make the best grits I’ve ever had!!! Our favorite breakfast spot.

Eva was very pleasant and friendly. Waitresses seem to practice teamwork, one brought coffee, I asked for water and the one that passed by brought the water, the kitchen had the last croissant and I took as a breakfast sandwich, great food. Thanks

Great customer service! The food quality is good and the serving size satisfies the price. The breakfast is reasonably priced. The booths are comfortable. It’s super easy to reserve a seat on Yelp. Enjoy your meal 🥳

We unfortunately chose a terrible time to visit, right before a large group from a local church took over half the restaurant. To their credit, our waitress was very attentive and checked on us regularly. Food was good, a bit cold when it got to us and took nearly an hour which I blame squarely on the large group before us and not the staff in any way. Four stars is due to the restaurant feeling very cramped and overly loud. Not sure if that's because of the location or the large group. But we are definitely going back. It was a great little café.

Very good. I had the open faced roast beef w/ mashed potatoes and gravy. Definately reminds me of a home cooked meal. Sarah my waitress was attentive and took good care of me. Highly recommend. My new lunch spot.

Food came quickly. Philly cheese steak was ok. Fried steak was ok. Basically a restaurant with quickly food and healthier than fast food.
