Room was about $200 which I didn’t mind spending for my 2 kids because I was told breakfast was included and they had a pool! Got to the room and there is no microwave in the so called suite to warm food up. The separate room was so little it looks like a bed inside a closet! The pull out sofa bed was not made and had a balled up sheet inside of it! The pool area has bugs! Many bugs! There were no towels available in the pool area in the afternoon/evening when the kids wanted to swim or the next morning! Had to bring the towels from the room! Took the kids to the breakfast area and was stopped and advised that breakfast wasn’t included and I needed to pay an additional $19.99 per person including for the kids! Went to the desk where I advised that I was told on more than one occasion that breakfast was included with my price , but was basically told it didn’t matter and that I wasn’t a gold member to get the breakfast! I felt as though I was brushed off. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN? What did I pay $200 for? A little room! I will make sure to let my friends and family know to NEVER stay at double tree!

Had a pleasant stay. It is very close to US 1. Service was way too good. The rooms were impressive. You need to pay for the breakfast. +met my expectation. The photos on web site match the reality. The room is clean and the staff is nice. Nice to have a pool that kids love. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome

Pretty good. First impression was finding a hair in the mini fridge and the sink. Not that big of a deal. Room was fine for my wife and two sons. The following day we experienced an unruly mob of guests running through the hallways, smoking weed in the stairwell, pulling fire alarms and using fire extinguishers for fun. Fire alarm went off in the entire hotel and had to evacuate for at least an hour. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate to all guests. Thankfully they were kicked out and hopefully will never return. The staff was very friendly upon arriving. The restaurant was also very nice to have on the premises. Great food and staff.

Had a pleasant stay. It is very close to US 1. Service was way too good. The rooms were impressive. You need to pay for the breakfast. The rooms are spacious; clean crisp sheets. Had a pleasant smell entering in. Toilets were clean. The rooms comes with a small refrigerator, microwave and a safe. And a work table. The hotel has a decent size pool and a make shift gym. Looks like they are renovating the current gymnasium. They welcome with you water and send you off with delicious cookies. Worth every penny you pay. Had a pleasant stay

I have stayed here few times, but on this occasion I came from a delayed flight and missed baggage. They cancelled my hotel booking which was fully paid for 7 days. Staff had no empathy and asked me to wait over 5 hours for a room. This is not a standard you expect at Hilton

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were top-notch and added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The location was also perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay with excellent service.

The Doubletree Hotel by Hilton in Princeton New Jersey is in need of a massive renovation. Upon entering the hotel, the lobby is great with keeping the facade of a 4-star star hotel. However, when in fact, once you reach the rooms you will see that these rooms are outdated and in need of repairs and upgrades. 1. My sleep was interrupted by their outdated air conditioning machine. It was loud and shaking throughout the night. 2. There are no microwaves in the room to heat your food. 4. There was only one bath towel, one hand towel, and two washcloths in the bathroom for two people. Also, there were no trash cans in the bathroom. 5. The coffee machine had cobwebs on it. 6. The key card did not work. 7. The refrigerator was not plugged into the outlet so upon opening it, I smelled moisture. 8.The television is a blast from the mid 2000. 9. The shower head is over 6.5 feet above the ground so if you are 5'5 like myself, it is somewhat difficult to reach to adjust. Outdated. I am more than dissatisfied with the Double Tree Hilton of Princeton. For $200+ a night in an Executive Suite, I should not be making a review as such The only two facts that saves this hotel from me giving them a 1-star is the comfortable beds and the highly professional staff willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Never again unless this hotel has a total rehab.

I absolutely love this hotel. I've stayed here over ten times in the past 2/3 years and the experience has always been great. The front desk staff is really helpful, the location is perfectly far enough away from NYC and Philly and close enough to all the highways that you can get anywhere fairly quickly. They have an awesome heated pool and a great mini-store at the front desk with every thing you need for you visit like toiletries, drinks and snacks. The also have every kind of EV charger for Teslas and other EVs. The restaurant attached has a variety of food and the breakfast in the morning, even though it isn't free, gas a great buffet or à la cart option. Overall best hotel in the area as far as pricing, staff, room cleanliness and location. I highly recommend staying here and will continue to stay here myself whenever I have to visit NYC or Philly.

I didn't have hot water for two of my six nights, my TV didn't work for the first two. No apology from management, no offer of compensation, only an offer of moving me to a lower tier room at the same price I was paying! The hotel decor is old and worn, the sound insulation is inadequate considering it is on US-1. A colleague I was travelling with got food poisoning from the breakfast. Overall, possibly the worst hotel experience I've had.

This was my first time staying at this DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, and I wasn’t really happy with the customer service experience. When we checked in at the front desk, we requested joint rooms since we were traveling with family. However, they couldn’t find joint rooms for us and didn’t inform us properly about it until we got our room access cards. Then, we couldn’t find the room on the first floor since there is no proper signage available until the end of the hall, which is on the right side hidden away. I had to ask customer service at the front desk for the location of the rooms! The associate just said to us that is down the hall, so I had to go discover the location for myself regardless. I wasn’t very happy with the customer service I received and will not stay at this location again.

I popped in for a quick overnight. The hotel pricing (double queen) on a Sunday night was very affordable. The hotel itself is a bit older, but recent upgrades keep amenities modern. You can tell from the carpet in the hallways and wear spots on doors, yet the bathrooms in the rooms are much newer. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The hotel is away/offset from any major roads, so the stay was quiet from any outside disturbances. The breakfast fare (as identified in other reviews) is average for $17/person: the "hot" food in the buffet was warm; the fruit was fresh crisp; the breads and muffins were fresh. All of this was packaged in the standard DoubleTree charm, including helpful staff and the signature cookies

The walls of the hotel are incredibly thin and the road noise from Route 1 is deafening. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked with a bunch of students here for a debate competition, so they were loud. Our neighbors were especially loud so we asked to move. The night manager offered to refund our money and check us out. At midnight. He also raised his voice with me on the phone and in the elevator with my son. They finally moved us after 7 calls to the front desk. But our new room is still facing the highway and the road noise is louder. This hotel needs to train their staff and update their windows. Or condemn it. These reasons are why I will not stay at Hilton properties by choice. This one was organized by our tour.

Looks very good. Room was clean. Pool and pool deck were big. Fruit water in the lobby had bugs flying around it. No microwave in the room. Gave us a card that didn’t work. Room had 2 shampoos and no conditioner. Curtain had 2 small holes in them. No free wifi or breakfast.

Checking in was easy and efficient enough. The room itself was a good size. Had enough privacy to have a door to close that you can relax. The carpet was clean...sheets looked clean ... had great selection of channels for TV entertainment. Standard and basic room ... surprised there was not a microwave...tried to find the ice machine but the cleaning staff I asked had no idea where it was so upon searching found it in the same area as the laundry room . Didn't felt it was hygienic or clean enough to get any from there. Sadly while at the hotel alarms went off and no information was provided to guests ...just had to have common sense to go downstairs and wait a bit outside while the firefighters did their job . Upon my own observation...seems someone might have been smoking and the alarm went off in a room on the 4th floor ... comfortably waiting in my car till the firefighters left within a hour or so. Really throwed off my Saturday and the purpose of being there. No information again was provided upon reentry or apology for the inconvenience. Decided to leave and check out at midnight even though I had until 11 am to check out as the whole situation ruined the experience. Even at check out still no information provided or apology... thought I would have a little peace and quiet but that raucous alarm and firefighter situation threw off the entire night . Don't think I'll be returning to this location

I stayed first time last night for husband it was fourth stay. They have a few spots for diamond members which is a nice touch. They have lowered the credit to a $15 per person for food and beverage however with the cold buffet being $14.95 you can technically still get a free breakfast or pay $3 plus tax more for hot and cold. Ty at the front desk is awesome and always smiles. The toilets are low flush so please make sure to flush often especially if Tyson’s a lot of paper or you will need to call for a plunger. The suites with queen beds have too small a bedroom and only one night stand as to one side there is barely 6 inches and you must be careful getting out of bed or you will smack into a wall. Enjoyed the stay and while not perfect it was good!

This hotel is in a great spot for me. Close to my work and right on US1. But the rooms are really dated. Bed was nice but bathroom door opens in and kind of blocks toilet making hard to use. Looks like the hotel is still original inside from the 70's. I walked in and had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. I got there at 5:15pm so not sure where they were. Not a lot of people there looking at the parking lot. Needs a renovation badly!

Hotel was very clean. Price was good too. I traveled with my teens for a night's stay. Hotel is located far off the major highway I was on but overall I'd probably return. Hotel is in a very commercialized area. Lots of shops and food options available all around here. Service was ok. Desk clerk barely smiled or even said a word at check in. All vending machines on all the floors would not take cards or cash. I went to each floor myself. So I asked the clerk if I could purchase water. He gave me 2 bottles from the back office. When I told him I needed one more for my son. He grunted and mumbled. I told him I was willing to pay for it. He reluctantly gave me the 3rd water. Looked up my room # and told me "all set." Not sure if he charged my room or anything. But they need to hire someone who enjoys their job working the desk not this grumpy guy. Turns out he charged my room for the water. But that is not the part that bothers. What bothers me is that if I am paying for the water, then why was it such a big deal for him to hand me when I was paying for it anyway. It wasn't coming out of his pocket.

I needed a location between MetLife Stadium and Medford, NJ, and selected this hotel for a 3-night stay. Overall, I was very pleased with the accommodations and the staff were very pleasant and helpful! The room was spacious, comfortable and the shower was great. I was disappointed in the size of the TV (a bit small compared to the average hotel room these days) and the laundry service as the machine uses an app and after I downloaded it and added money, the dryer didn't work. There's ample parking and when I was there, someone was holding a celebration in one of the rooms so it can be a very busy environment.

Before booking I looked for hotels that had free breakfast because I had kids with me and was under the assumption that we would be able to eat and to my surprise the morning buffet was $20 per adult and 8 for the kids unless I had a certain membership then it would be free. So how are u suppose to know what level of membership you have upon booking a room here. Then the pool opens at 6am and yet there's no clean towels to dry off with just a bin full of dirty towels. Then to add insult to injury we couldn't warm up our food in our rooms the fridge wasn't worth putting your food in cause it hardly kept anything cold good. The air hardly worked as well shutting off in the middle of the night. I was totally displeased with my stay.

The staff is friendly and helpful. If I was only reviewing the staff it would be a 5 star review. Had problems checking in even though I confirmed twice they had received our credit card payment via their authorization portal. Thankfully I had both in writing because I was accused of making it up. Our room door was broken and we had to jiggle and mess with it a few minutes each time we wanted to go into the room. The free breakfast looked decent but the yogurt had turned bad and the rest of it was not edible. Our bathroom sink was broken and I am thankful my husband travels with tools bc he was able to somewhat get it to work. There are a total of 4 outlets in the room which are attached to the lamps and 2 USB plugs. This is not idea when you are traveling for team sports and people have multiple devices to charge. There is also a low maximum output so bringing a power strip is useless. Beds were clean and no evidence of bed bugs and the main areas and ballrooms looked nice. They even have an Amazon locker.

Easily the worst hotel in the area. The lady at the front desk this evening, June 19, is selective when it comes to customer service. From my first interaction with her to the subsequent ones. On one occasion, she offered cookies to a gentleman (you can see in the other reviews here that that is apparently their standard practice), but didn't offer the same courtesy to me - neither in food or in politeness.

Although the rooms need updating to new Double Tree standards, the cookie & the staff make up for what’s lacking. The dining crew team with Leny, Dora & Juan is super. Always welcoming and accommodating to any needs. The other day, I wanted an omelette, and the cook had yet not arrived, since the dining area had a temporary slow moment, Leny, became the chef & made an awesome omelette for me. That’s the service that I am talking about. Stay there and you will see the great the staff is.

I was half asleep on a drive home from sesame place with my 2 year old so we pulled over and I found a hotel with decent ratings close by. This location was clean, relatively updated, and staff was friendly. Check in was quick and bed was comfy and provided a welcoming place to get some much needed rest.

First, I would like to say that the manager Nicole was very polite and seems to be always working hard to keep the place going. That said, we had several issues: 1. The elevators make horrible sounds that make you feel you could be stuck or worse fall at any time. Sounded like something from a horror movie 2. More staff is needed. Calls to the front desk for simple request such as additional hand towel or shampoo were answered but no one ever came. I was able to get the items by going to the front desk, but it is obvious that the location is understaffed. Finally, I encountered the rudest restaurant staff person I have ever seen in the hospitality business. On 11/25 we came down for breakfast at 9:30. We were greeted by a staff person named Christian who yelled at us telling us that the restaurant was closing in 30 minutes and that the computer was not working and that they would not be serving any more food that we all just need to leave. He continued to yell this as more people followed in behind us. We decided to just sit down anyway and see if the other staff lady could bring us some coffee. Christian continued to yell at the top of his lungs that the restaurant was closing and that we should all leave despite the fact that it was posted as open until 10:00. He got into combative verbal exchange with several of the others that entered later. We left with our coffee in had as we did not wish to continue listening to his yelling. I mentioned the incident to Nicole the next day, but I also witnessed her talking to the staff the day of the incident. I reviewed my bill and I found that we were charged for breakfast that day even though we were yelled at and ate nothing. I mentioned this to the staff at the desk when I checked out and she told me that she would talk to Nicole to have the charge removed. I checked my account today and the charge is still showing on my receipt. One positive note, Will the Bartender was very pleasant and I enjoyed the conversation. I have stayed at this location many times over the past 6 years but it is needing a lot of TLC from Hilton. Going to look elsewhere next year when I visit for the holidays

Stayed here for business and my experience was wonderful. Check in was easy since I’m a diamond member I got my waters and a warm cookie! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn’t get a chance to dine at the restaurant but I will next time I’m in the area. The gym and pool look great! The only downside was not a lot of parking in the front and not enough diamond member spots, there were only 4 and all were always taken!
