This almost rectangular park is pretty much a stretch of nice trees around the outside (good for scooting as other reviewers have noted) and mainly grass. One side of the park is the children’s playground, basketball court and 4 tennis courts along with what looks like a dog-walking area. The much-photographed tree is in the south east corner, and while an impressive tree in its day its just dead and large but doesn’t offer any shade or climbing opportunities. The playground has a good mix of equipment in working order (including an accessible swing) and even on sunny days doesn’t seem to get too hot despite being metal. Though there isn’t any shade in the playground itself. Access is a bit limited with entrances at the North in the middle, South West and South East so it’s not great as a cut-through to improve a commute but entrances are easy enough to find. So it’s a great place for sport, perhaps as many as 3 full sized football games on the grass, and getting a tan, or a gentle walk, but not so great if you want some shade and a picnic unless you fancy sitting around the edge.

Is a lovely small park. There are tennis courts, basketball court, kids playground, and grassy enclosure for puppies/dog training. There are many benches to sit on. Is close to Addiscombe tram stop and Addiscombe high street & shops.

I've brought up my children around this park. It's a lovely, clean dog friendly park with good tennis courts and now, a new basketball court. It's good that the tennis courts are free but some people still use the courts to play football and this ruins the nets. It would be nice for polite reminder signs to be placed in this area. There are 3 entrances into the park so good access for all.

Clean and friendly place to go! Good kids park, space for activities on the green. during good weather the tennis courts are always used which is good to see. Good dog walking spot also. it's nice to know this park is so local to me.

Quiet area with some great tennis courts for the amateur player. I’ve enjoyed coming here on some of the most sunniest and brightest days and I would recommend anyone in the area to visit.

It's alright, good for a little afternoon run-around on a Sunday to tire the kids out before the week commences, also a decent place to take the dog for a quick jog etc. The kids' playground is OK, though it is a bit on the small side, but what the playground lacks in size the park makes up for in green space, it also has a basketball court and tennis court to, so not to shabby.

Lovely little local park. Has tennis courts, basketball court and a children's playground. I had no idea it was there until I moved nearby.

A reasonably quiet and pleasant small to mid sized park in the midst of houses' back gardens with 3 entrances so quite an oasis regarding low traffic pollution and noise. Reasonably well maintained although not a shadow of its former glory. Just under 1/2 mile per circuit for joggers or distance walkers. Locked at night, variable time each month of year. Facilities include 4 free tennis courts in good condition on a first come basis. One basketball court often in use during afternoon & evenings. Old grass courts now a fenced dog 'off lead' area. No longer has a permanent park attendant present. No kiosk, also toilets and drinking water fountain no longer available, best to use the nearby church hall coffee facilities for drinks, toilets etc when open. Fenced play area for younger children. No longer permanent goal posts on football pitch so does not appear to be regularly used anymore. Local residence association have restored a couple of the old flower beds. If you live local, definitely worth a stroll on a sunny day.

A refuge for kids but full of rubbish, with Croydon Council neglecting their duties.

Played some of my most fun Football here in my entire life. Made some great friends here. Played with probably over 100 different people here over the years. All ages and types of people were welcome to come and join in and play a game. I miss this place and those good times a lot. It is a simple park, but quite pleasant. Good place to walk around or jog. Very dog friendly. Has a few basketball and tennis courts which can be used for Football. Has a kiddies play area. Large open space for full Football games.

Good park but it needs toilets and a shop for refreshments. Many other parks have these facilities so not sure why this doesn't.

Set in a natural environment, big space, dedicated areas to all ages, good walking track however, some areas need cleaning and trimming.
