Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves tasty food and delicious coffee. Staff here is so friendly, helpful and professional. The only, really tiny downside was the fact, that we thought we were waiting for our food for a little too long. Although this doesn’t mean they don’t deserve 5+ stars. Absolutely fabulous place.

Absolutely incredible Sunday dinner it has to be one of the best Sunday dinners I have had and because Iam useless at choosing I went for the platter of meat which was incredible, cooked to perfection, the gulten free option was also amazing. Massive thank you to the staff and chef.

Lovely pub and restaurant in beautiful location. By far the best restaurant food served in the area at very reasonable prices. The Bespoke Inn chain has other restaurants, but the kitchen at The Boot continues to impress time after time by always being able to provide cuisine offering delicate textures, amazing flavours and top professional presentation. If you ever have the chance, it's not one to miss! There is a microbrewery on site served in the bar and accommodation on property too.

Delicious, proper food. Good potion sizes and nice drinks too. Good service. One thing that took away from the meal a bit were the tiny flies inside (particularly by the windows)

This is the second booking we've made and it was just as good as our first visit! The Sunday roast is outstanding, maybe a little expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. We booked a Sunday night again, and it was worth every penny (Superior room (9) £85 including breakfast) The breakfast is so filling I didn't need to eat until 6pm, which is saying something for me! We will be trying all the other venues in the chain and can't wait but will return!

I had breakfast with my partner here and it was exceptional. I had the eggs royal and the poached eggs were perfect, and my partner had the full English and he really enjoyed his. We are thinking of trying the bottomless brunch for our anniversary later in the year.

We went for Saturday lunch service. We were in the conservatory area. It's the second time that we have dined in this room and even though it wasn't very busy, again it was very noisy to the point where I couldn't hear my fello diners. The food was plentiful and tasty. We had 3 different people wsiting on, 2 were very good, one was less so. I think that the person concerned could do with some training. Our table wasn't cleared properly after our mains and they forgot about a dessert too. Would definitely recommend .

Food was nice. Portions were generous. Service a little on the slow side. I hate bills which come with a “discretionary service charge”, in all circumstances this is awkward for the customer if you do/don’t want to include it in what you pay. It’s more understandable with large groups but not for a family.

The Boot Inn is a very well executed formulaic modern pub. Part of a chain of 4 in the standard battle ship grey colours. It's busy most of the time, filled with families and dogs so a great atmosphere.. Our room was (room 3) was very comfortable with a great bed and good linen. The only down side is its incredibly noisy from the bar below and kitchen corridor. All conversation can be clearly heard. So you sleep when the staff have finished at night and wake up when they start their breakfast shift. Excellent selection of draught beers and an a limited but creative menu. What we had was beautifully cooked and presented. The starters are unusual in that they are positioned as 'small plates'...? All heavy, nothing light, mushrooms on toast, deep fried fish cake etc. Staff were polite and efficient. On their terms and conditions it says they charge your room when you arrive. This is not the case, and the full payment was attempted to be taken the day before we arrived. This led to time on the phone with my bank (some 20 minutes) to establish if this call for payment was fraudulent or not. So....either change the terms and conditions to full payment will be taken at the time of booking, or don't try and take the money early.

Stayed overnight, had evening meal and breakfast. The food never fails to impress! Absolutely delicious! I can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal at The Boot as we’ve been going for a few years. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room was wonderful, very clean with lovely white bedding and thick soft towels. We’ll definitely be staying again.

Wonderful meal had by my family and I on Sunday. Chloe was exceptional in serving us our Sunday dinners efficiently and with a smile. She was interested in our children and very pleasant. I have been coming to The Boot for many years and i have to say Sunday was one of our very best experiences. One of my observations historically is when your food arrives and then sauces and condiments can take 5-6 mins to arrive after that. This allows food to maybe go cold. We requested the sauces with Chloe upon order and sure enough it arrived with our main course. A little thing that made a big different to our dining experience. The food was, of course excellent!

Our first visit for supper. Warm and welcoming service. We opted for a mix of small and large dishes - all were excellent but special mention of the new tomato and cheese muffin style breads, duck tacos and the Pork belly with black pudding hash. Good value for money and had more than a touch of fine dining in a traditional pub setting

Lovely weekend away with my partner last weekend, it was our Christmas as we can't be together this Christmas, beautiful room, fantastic food and great service, couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for making it a great stay.

We stayed at the Boot Inn over a weekend, and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The room was sumptuously cosy and very clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Easily the best food we have had during our week in the UK. Everything was good but the vegetables were just perfect. Service, surroundings really top quality. Nikki and Dave from Greensboro North Carolina.

A family evening meal for 7, delightful staff and service. The food was excellent, including pork belly, sea bass, fish and chips, kids' meals and tagliatelle. Booked after reading a report in The Guardian about Sunday lunch. Can highly recommend The Boot.

My partner and I attended today for a Sunday lunch. Both of us were let’s say delighted with the beef main and the boot platter which is a mix of beef, chicken and pork. All cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes were simply lovely but the toppers were the cauliflower cheese and red cabbage mix which was simply divine. We didn’t do the pudding on this occasion but will do next time. Btw their own Boot IPA was also a great pint. Beautiful location

Delightful pub which made for perfect overnight stay. Friendly and welcoming people, generous portions of delicious food, very comfortable and spacious room, fabulous breakfast. Absolutely nothing not to like. If I have one constructive criticism, it's that the wine list could do with a bit if a makeover but I place I would enjoy staying at again if I'm in the area.

Love the boot. Always great friendly service and lovely food /beer. Also dogs allowed in the bar which is great for mid walk pitstops.

I visited The Boot for a 50th Aniversary celebration. I have not set foot in The Boot for many years. Can hardly recognise it. The lay out is very good with different areas for small parties. The food was excellent and the service was just the right speed not too quick. Had an excellent afternoon. Will be back.

We went for dinner for a family group of 6 adults. It's a lovely old inn with little parking. We sat at 3 tables pushed together. Table heights varied. Waiters worked without coordination or system. My meal arrived about 70 minutes after being ordered and had obviously been prepared and kept hot. All the staff did, if they came to the table, was try to sell more drinks and soft drinks were very expensive. Staff brought food using dirty striped tea towels and seemed to know nothing about service. A very costly experience which I will not be repeating.
