Just popped in whilst passing through the area and we just expected a standard pub meal... This was anything but!! The food was incredible!! The open steak sandwich was just wow wow wowwww!! We will now be making this a regular dining destination and I'll be working my way through that menu one meal at a time lol. The venue is decorated lovely and it's very clean inside too. The staff were all lovely which always makes the experience all the better too. But honestly, the food blew us away. Service was speedy, we were waiting around 5 minutes for our food. What a great surprise finding this place was. We'll be seeing you again soon guys. ☺️👍🏼

We have never been before but heard so many good reviews off people so we took our daughter for her 16th birthday and it didn't disappoint, wonderful staff, excellent food, amazing service and our daughters little happy birthday plaque. Absolutely fantastic highly recommend this place we will definitely be back :) thank you so much for an excellent meal x

First time visiting. Was disappointed by the quality of the beef stroganoff as the rice was so wet all you could taste was water and it also diluted the sauce around it. I did feed this back when the server asked if I had enjoyed the meal though and it felt like this was taken on board well and he did discount my meal which was unexpected and very welcome. Location of the table wasn't the best as I was halfway out the entrance to that section so had people walking right behind me a lot. Atmosphere wise it gets loud easily in that small space and I had spot lights glaring down at me which didn't create the best ambiance for a date night. I'd be willing to try again but I definitely had a better experience at the Joiners Arms from the same chain.

Consistently excellent. Superb service, very attentive and welcoming wiithout being excessive. Food choice very good. Pizzas huge, full of toppings, perfectly cooked ans very reasonable. Some great dishes, somethibg for everyone. Atmosphere good. Always busy which is a good sign but make sure tou book in advance. We go multiple times a year. Our go to place for a locely meal.

What a great place this is, we turned up on the off chance of getting a table but sadly the inside was full, nevertheless the staff were very accommodating and found us a table outside. Thet came straight away with a drinks menu so we could look through there vast array of drinks of which we chose a gin and beer 🍺 To say they were busy it took no time at all for our order to arrive, then they took the food order and again was with us in an appropriate amount of time. The food was delicious, service was great and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. Went last night to the swan.normally go bulls head Repton but couldn’t get in, the service was excellent nothing to much trouble. The pizza man was twirling the dough in the air. Great atmosphere great food will now use the swan (bulls head still excellent)my pic doesn’t do the food justice

Absolutely fabulous place!! Food divine, great value for money, staff so lovely welcoming, atmosphere lovely, decor awesome. Me and my 8 year old daughter had the best time!!! Highly recommend!!

Tried this pub for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the cocktails were fantastic! Good price as well for what you get. We had a lovely waitress Ellen serving us who was very attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend this pub and will be returning soon!

Fantastic place! I went for my birthday and the staff were friendly and service was first class. The food was delicious with huge portions. The cocktails are amazing with a good selection. You can tell it’s quality ingredients in all the food and drinks. Staff were attentive from start to finish and it makes the whole experience of dining out so much better. The biggest surprise was value for money, compared to other similar places around the area, this is definitely good value.

Very nice place with pretty architecture with its own stone pizza over and fairy lights in the trees you can see from the big windows. Food was and always has been very good but have very little vegan options, however they were quite flexible and made the sweet potato and veg open sandwich.

We visited for my Dad's 70th birthday. The welcome was warm Ndy the food was lovely. The staff were great with my daughter too.

Wow is a single word to describe this place. Friends have always spoke highly but never expected it to be so amazing in reality. The welcome was superb with a wonderful atmosphere. One of my friends has a couple of food issues so the manager came over to take our order to ensure that the food ordered would be ok. The food was spectacular to say the least and oh my then there was the desserts! Photos do not do it justice. I honestly cannot wait to go back. Big thank you to everyone for an awesome evening.

Fantastic place to wine and dine and great for mocktails too. Great choice on the menu, pictured below is the Salmon and then the Katsu chicken curry. Signal can be hit and miss but they offer WiFi and its great as you can order on their app. Staff are friendly and inviting. Parking is to the rear of the pub, its a bit narrow so be careful.

This was our first visit and was a great place to go. HARRY was our waiter and was brilliant. Dogs are welcome here also.

Great pub/restaurant. Lots of character and really done out nicely. Food was very good. It was raining when I visited, but it has a nicely lit outdoor area.

Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Food is great, lots of fun cocktails to try. Staff are very friendly and helpful, go above and beyond. Looking forward to going again!

Sister pub to the bulls head repton. Gastro type food, fairly expensive but it's all fresh cooked & extremely tasty. (You get what you pay for) 🙂 Massive range of good quality drinks too.

A lovely place for great food and excellent service. The Swan is a great place for dining out and enjoying some great and quirky combinations of food and cocktails. The food and drinks here are very tasty and come at a very reasonable price for what you get. I highly recommend getting the ducky bath cocktail as it’s great for sharing, looking and tasting amazing. The staff at this restaurant are also really nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place for groups and couples!

First time diner @ the Swan, the Menu options are incredible. I went for the Jerk Stick, was delicious. Few sides too, great food all round. And a lovey Guinness. Also Matt our server was lovely! Thanks to him.. Would love to come again.

Excellent place to eat. We turned up without any reservation on Sunday dinner, and they found us a table. We had our dog also…they are very dog friendly 🐶We had the burger sliders which were super tasty. Thanks to all the staff👍👍

Fantastic food and atmosphere. I had the open steak sandwich and it was one of the nicest things I've ever eaten! I also had a Korean Chicken Boa bun which was maybe a touch too spicy for my taste even though I like spice, but I like that you aren't afraid to go hot! A lot of places advertise "spicy" and they're mild at best. Will definitely return!

Arrived at The Swan on Tuesday evening having booked in the conservatory. We were far too warm so Tom (I think his name was) kindly found us a table outside. A young lady who was working outside helped us amend the Pit Burger and communicated with the kitchen, I didn’t catch her name but she was fab too. Tasty food and cocktails and very pretty decor. We've been working our way around the chilled pubs to collect all the alpacas. The Swan was next on our list. From the moment we got in we have the most wonderful waiter - Matthew. He was so enthusiastic and talkative. He went above and beyond with our service. The alpaca we received was from the Chesterfield pub. As we are collecting them we enquired about 'The Swan' one. Now this is were Matthew went above and beyond. On our journey up the stairs to our seat there was a display of Hettie (the alpaca for The Swan). We notice on leaving there was one less in the display. Matthew had sourced one out of the display for me. The most thoughtful waiter I've ever had.
