This restaurant is located at Nager Bazar Satgachi intersection. One of the oldest, good and famous restaurants in the region. Definitely our favorite. Food quality is quite good. The price is affordable. In some cases it seems a little too much. But I don't like biryani and rolls here. Home delivery is available in nearby areas. Both take-out and sit-down options are available. Only parking is a problem. And during the festival season, the crowd is huge.

Ambience is pretty clean and well maintained. Staff service is very good. Quality and quantity of food is more than up to mark.

Have been going to this place since long. Saw how they grew in terms of outlets curtailed within an area (Satgachi). Appears to be a multicuisine restaurant providing a wide variety of delicacies served in appropriate portions. Nothing to write home about but yes it definitely serves the purpose. The biryani they offer is slightly on the lighter side with excellent grain quality and mild taste of other spices. Tandoori chicken is my all time favourite there. Not only on the outer layer but it's tasty from inside as well and the chicken too is tender. Do pay a visit on a random evening or in the afternoon and you won't regret

Taaj is a Calm Restaurant with Polite Helpful Waiters and Good Food, served sizzling hot The Aquarium, the chilled ACs, the sports in the TV, and the soothing jazz music in the background altogether make for a very calm, relaxing and cozy ambiance. My Favorite Food Item from Taaj is the Chili Baby Corn, which is very spicy and very tasty.

Hotel Taaj is a good place for Lunch and Dinner. They have multiple outlets at Satgachi more area. They don't charge anything for corporate pre-booking of entire hall Food quality is very good and their behavior is also very good.

Me and my husband had lunch on 25 th Dec in this hotel. The environment is really peaceful and good 😊. We had Chicken Reshmi Kabab as starter ;tawa lachha paratha, Butter naan and kadai Mutton as main course. Taste was delicious and the starter was really really awesome in taste.. 😋

I have been living in Dum Dum like forever and this is the first time I've visited here. Went without any expectations but turned out this is one of best food joints in Dum Dum Nagerbazar area if you're looking for Chinese. Had Mix chow with chili chicken. Portion was enough for two people and it was really tasty. Go give it a try if you still haven't or ignoring this one for a while just like me!

It is located beside sathgachi auto stand. Chinese items are very tasty. Firstly, Ambience was good but they can improve themself like the sitting arrangement as it is a small restaurant a group of only four people's can sit together. Secondly, the price was quite High.

I've been eating here for years. Whether it's take out, delivery (chargeable, irrespective of distance) or dine in. The ambience has always given me a cosy and comfortable vibe, the lighting is dim (I prefer it that way). However, you might find that it's not too spacious which can be a problem if it's crowded. Coming to food, it's actually pretty good. Kebab, biryani, chowmein, even the rotis. The people at the cash counter and the waiters are courteous and helpful.

The main course food was disgusting.... Ordered peas pulao which was full of unwanted veggies except peas..... The mutton do piyaza was bad in taste.... Mutton pieces were too tough to eat.... Biryani was tasteless and there also the pieces of mutton where very tough..... In a nutshell it was nothing but waste of money as I paid 2500 for the food which totally got wasted.

Visited with family some days ago. It is situated near satgachi auto stand just 10mints walking distance from Nagerbazar. Ordered Fish Fry, Egg fried rice , Hong kong chicken , mashala kulcha chicken manchurian and a mutton item. Restaurant has 2 rooms and each room has 2floors. Inside the room was darker has soft light and a soft music was playing although it was a nice experience but I will suggest to add more lights otherwise there will be some problems while eating. Food was very tasty specially fish fry which stuffing was very good and price worthy. Hong kong chicken must try item which has a smoky flavour and taste was little sour and little spicy. Allover had a good experience. Thank you

Majorly take away type of hotel, I am not very sure about sitting facilities , but they might have one. The food quality and taste are up to mark and good. Only CONS....the wait time is high and for those of you have 4 wheelers....you will have a hard time with parking u r vehicle.

Very tasty food in reasonable price.

We visited this restaurant after an exhausting day. It was not crowded and the restaurant was dimly lit. We ordered Fried Chicken Momo(Half), Pan-fried Chicken Momo (Half), Paneer Kulcha and Chicken Butter Masala. The momos came with soup and half plate was more than enough for one person. The fried momos were soft and not greasy at all, the pan-fried were spicy and crispy. The paneer kulcha was okay-ish but the chicken butter masala could have been better. It didn't have that authentic taste and tasted bland.

We ordered food from Hotel Taaj through online food delivery app. It was around 10:15 pm at night and we ordered rumali roti, palak paneer, chilli chicken. Very fast delivery service and we got the food hot. Quality was just amazing! 😋Their palak paneer is a must try for everyone. Really loved it. Thanks Hotel taaj. Will order again very soon!

My all-time favourite go to restaurant. Love the Prawn Fried rice and Schezwan Chicken combination. They make amazing soups too. This restaurant stands tall for more than a Decade now and the taste is absolutely the same... Lovely restaurant.
