This is not usually visible from main road traffic . Protected place but one can enter with due permission. Maintains a low key status . People of different religious faith can enter subject to permission . Calm and quite place . Beautifully carved budha idol.

This has been a stone's throw away from my home. The place gets lively during the Chinese New year and other festivals. Otherwise I usually find it closed. The caretaker family stays downstairs. The interiors are beautiful with Lord Buddha idols and a holy feel. Kanjis decorate the place. The temple is managed by a committee and was set up in 1962, way before lake town bangur areas were developed.

It is very fantastic place but the temple is not properly maintain.Actually no one take care of the temple. A family with their children lives down floor of the temple who takes care the temple. They are not suitable or elligible to maintain it due to their behavior. No particular time for visit mention outside the gate or any where you can follow it. The temple is closed at evening for unknown reason may be their wish. The aforesaid temple caring family always make clamsy dirty noisy atmosphere of the main entrance. Requested to authority please look after the matter and make the temple lovely meditation center with proper care and professional training. I am eagerly interested about the buddha temple.

Let me tell u wat i know about this place! 1. This is a Mahayana not theraveda Buddhist Temple. 2. No monks, sometimes Buddhist nuns visit here to pray, their visit is occasional. 3. As per as i know, no official gatekeeper, to look after the devotes. 4. recommended to pay a visit if you are planning.
