The ambience of the place is quite decent and peaceful. You can have a certain level of privacy when you visit with your loved one. The prices are average. The main dish which i like the most is the Cantonese Noodles. It's massively healthy and surprisingly tasty as well. Located in a secluded spot in a busy place it is a must visit. The prices of items are in the range of 200-300. One noodles or rice dish with a chicken item should cost around 500 which is affordable for the most part. The main thing is the ambience. No one will disturb you or judge you. You can visit with your family too. Overall nice place to dine. Must try at least once.

The Oldest Chinese Restaurant In Tye Whole Laketown, Kalindi & Bangur Avenue Area!! Since Childhood I Am A Regular Customer of Host As My Parents Always Used To Visit This Olace during Weekend ❤️ So many memories were attached from this place...But Needless to say ! Their quality nowadays has gone downgrade!! The Tastes Is Not As Good Like Before...The Tastes Is little bit degraded... They should more focus on tastes!

Ordered Singaporean Fried Rice (Mixed) and the Platter I received was a horrible one and on bottom of the dish I saw an iron square mixed with rice....... Staffs are Callous and Clumsy.... In Short HOST has LOST its old glory with Ashes of Time....... Utterly Pathetic

Wonderful ambience, chill music. Pocket pinch is quite reasonable. Good crowded place. Most importantly we saw lot of international guest profile out there. We ordered for chicken takrai and thai green curry. It was just amazing, luv d place we ll b der very soon again.

The restaurant is old and shabby, felt like time travel. Anyway, I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary after seeing the reviews. I just wanted some decent food; however, it turned out to be horrible! The fish was stale, hard, and rubbery. They did not even cook the fried fish in the garlic-lemon-butter gravy. They probably just applied the sauce on fried fish when it was already cold because the fish was hard and had no flavor of the gravy! The mixed noodles were very salty and oily and smelled weird. Chicken in oyster sauce was very salty, with a whole bottle of soy sauce, and had 4-5 tiny pieces of chicken. Roadside stalls make much better food for a lower price.

This is my mother's favourite Calcuttan chinese/Cantonese place She loves the thai chicken soup and the chopsuey a lot. The flavours of the food is subtle. The quality and the quantity is great as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for chinese food at an affordable price out there.

Not sure if business is just slow or if the staff are just too tired to care. The appetizer was fine. The chopsuey I ordered, not so much. Stick to basic Chinese meals here and you should have a wholesome feast.

Ita one of the oldest chinese restaurant in laketown area. But for sure they have lost their old glory as food quality is just worst. Ordered dry chili chicken and it was just horrible and NOT chili chicken for sure. Quality was horrible. Will never have it again. Called up and complained as well.

The taste of the food was average.We ordered mixed fried rice and hot garlic chicken from their menu, both tasted average. Quantity decent, enough for 2 people. The restaurant was not spacious, sitting arrangements for approx 40-45 people.
