Hello, I still have not heard from your office. I've left 3 voicemails and sent an e-mail through here. I don't get why your office is being so irresponsible and unprofessional. My eye appointment was on 12/31/2021. I went to get my glasses on February 5th and were sent back for the lenses to be fixed. I called on March 3rd to get an update and you still had not received them back from the lab. Since then, I have not heard back and left a voicemail on 3/8 @10:10am, 3/9 @4:21pm , 3/11 @11:02 and called again on 3/15 @3:09pm. Your general voicemail says that calls will be returned at 1pm the next business day but that is unlikely as I have not received a call back. All I ask is for you to give me the courtesy of call back to advise me of where we stand with my glasses. It's been almost 3 months since my initial appointment and I still have no glasses. CALL ME BACK!

Incredible staff, the selection has changed a bit, and now offer Safety Glasses, but a small selection upon request, they do not have a shelf. Wait time was not to bad, about 10- 15 at the most. When you place your order they typically can take about 2 weeks but sometimes it's less than that.

This is my first completed year with South Gate optometry and through this whole year I’ve had to come back a few times to get prescription on to multiple glasses and they’ve always had great customer/patient service and always are friendly with a positive attitude. This was my second visit for an eye exam and the exam was done so well like the first one, very assuring with me, and optometrist Marilyn Hernandez very wonderful explaining everything to you and very assuring, as well as friendly!!! All staff are attentive and friendly! I love coming here and will stay here!! Highly recommend this optometry. I’ve waited a few months to get an appointment but they are so wonderful with their service I waited months to get my spot!!

Great customer service! The doctor was very attentive, wanted to answer all our questions if we had any, and greeted us in a friendly manner since we met him. He even walked us out and made us feel welcomed. The staff was patient and made sure we took our time choosing the frames we liked. I’m staying at this office! Greatly recommended! Everyone in this office is always friendly and very helpful. Every exam my family has there has been excellent. The doctors are very thorough with the eye exams and always take their time to answer each and every question.

First time wearing contacts and i could not properly put them on i was having a real issue with that until Claudia came she was a huge help guiding me through and I left a pro everyone else was great also really positive attitudes even down to the receptionist thank you all for your help

I found this place through my insurance VSP since I moved in to this area. I was really happy with the customer service that I received. All the staff was so nice! Dr. Chen was so communicative and thorough. I’m excited to get my new glasses. They have a lot of variety! I would definitely keep this as my clinic.

Jessica was pleasant, efficient, and simply awesome while prepping my family for doctor evaluation. Dr Hernandez is always very attentive, pleasant, thorough and explains how we’re progressing. We appreciate her dedication! Finally, the young lady who finalized the visit was very patient and explained our benefits thoroughly! The entire visit was phenomenal from start to finish!

This was my second time visiting South Gate Optometry, and once again, they were amazing! I do not remember the doctor I saw nor the technician that helped me. Both the doctor and the technician gave me thorough information on my contact lenses, since this was my first time ever using them. They also worked with me and showed me step by step on how to put and remove them. They also answered all my questions and concerns with detailed instructions that left me reassured. The doctor, technicians, and staff were all friendly and helpful. I will be visiting them again when the time comes!

Wonderful experience! I was able to get a Saturday appointment for my children and myself. I decided to come back this year because I felt that last year went great. We were provided a thorough examination along with a detailed explanation by the Dr. Everyone is attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit next year for our yearly exam.
