It's a good place to take your kids to play for a while. Exercise machine don't work and there is no trees for shade.

Nice and clean I see the city is keeping up with the maintenance as it does get constantly tagged up by the soon to be drop outs. It is small though, and parking spaces are usually taken up by the residents who live next to the park because let's face it there's more cars than residents in South Gate.

Fun, and pretty much empty due to covid lock down I took my grand daughter, and our pets for a day out after this pandemic. Only thing the trash cans were over full with trash.

Its a good place to relax with the family there is a bunch a of tress where you can have shade and have a picnic. Not only that but also tables with shade as well. There are also bycicle tracks were you can ride a bike. A play ground for children of all ages. I spent there 5 hours today. Why? Well it wad warm and breeze so it wasnt to hot or cold i relaxed on the grass and took a nap so definitely a enjoyable place for a free day.

Unfortunately, the restrooms are completely tagged up with a couple of gang names. The area does not seem too safe to take kids to play. There were a couple of homeless visitors, one of which seemed to be on the drunk side and the other on the drugged up side. A bit more police activity may help in the safety of the area visitors as well as reduce the tagging a bit. Overall, the giant snake and the dinosaur bones and eggs are a GREAT idea, but the lack of supervision makes the park look a bit degraded. 🤔🤨🤦‍♂️

The place is very family oriented and i love what South Gate has done. The scenery is beautiful. The wild plants breath taking if you enjoy things like this. Come and visit.
