It's been a while since we have gone to Dennys. We were surprised of the change in the menu! We were really impressed and everything was really delicious! Definitely, family friendly and I am loving the new menu! You want a late snack or just a spontaneous night out with the family, we recommend Dennys. It has affordable prices and a great menu selection!!! Keep it up Dennys!!!

VERY BAD SERVICE!!!! the waitress who served us from the beginning was very rude, but that was not the worst we ordered 4 T-bones and they were old, hard and smelled bad, the burger was burnt and I ended up with a stomach ache, we called the manager "Carlos" to show him the food and he came out spoiled, angry and arrogant with the worst attitude. If you don't want to waste your money don't go to Dennys. It is the worst experience I have ever had in my life 🤮🤮🤮🤢

Denny's Firestone Blvd and Garfield Ave on the corner, Had the Worst /disgusting Birthday Slam ever. Burned pancakes and under cooked eggs, it even came with several Hairs in it after I ate most of it, I found hair under the pancakes (probably dropped them on the floor before they served them) here are the photos, hope you can see the hair in the photos. Yuck never again at this location. Dirty !

Nice, quaint cozy place to have breakfast. More like a family type setting but I go alone sometimes and it's all good. Staff are courteous and professional. Great breakfast!

I came to the South gate Dennys on Firestone/Garfield at 4am, 6/09/2022, and my server Diego was amazing, professional and excellent customer service.

2am all the cooks outside drinking. Ordered a sizzling skillet was not sizzling not flavourful not crispy onions management to these in order now.this is a insult to your customers! Update. caused Me Severe Diarrhea!

Tasty brunch, fun place. I loved it. I had a beautiful time there with family. The food I had was super tasty with good and warm coffee.

My 2 kids and I went on sunday for breakfast. The restaurant was busy and waited about 10 min. To be seated. I knew our food was gonna take sometime since I saw how busy the restaurant was. I order 2 breakfast for my boys and sandwich for myself. Our water Carlos was great he kept refilling my coffee while updating us on our food. I asked for a side of Goldfish crackers and he brought them right away ... even cracking a joke how he just had caught the fish for us. He brought our food . And keep checking on us. Great food. And very good service.

I went to this Denny’s on Saturday, the service was amazing, the food was good, and the vibe of the place entirely was great. It was a busy day, but lucky for us we had a server named Carlos who was friendly and would check up on us many times. It was my daughter’s birthday, and when I asked him if he could sing happy birthday to her, Carlos our server brought over a bunch of other servers to our table. Together they sang happy birthday to my daughter, and gave us such a wonderful experience. Thank you to Denny’s for the beautiful memory and thank you to our server Carlos.

Contrary to some reviews, this location offers good quality service for its customers. The young woman (whose name I can't remember) who was attentive to me and my loved ones did a splendid job to assure we received our coffee, food, and side dishes in a timely manner. 😊 More so, we gave her a tip to assure that we value excellent people who help us. Far too often, some people don't appreciate the diligence and challenges these employees endure. But the fact they can still provide you with attentiveness is superb. Off topic, but the cost of food was reasonable, so that's another up-vote. 😎

I have been to this location several tim3s and the service here is great. The food is so tasty and the enviorment is clean and inviting. My grandma loves this location. This place does have limited parking and gets very busy lost of the time so i would recommend to come during the week if you can.

Foods was excellent today Steak & eggs fresh and delicious. I came to this Dennys a few weeks back and I had one of the best experience ever. The costumer service was great. The food was amazing it was full of flavor. The server Ana was very attentive to providing us with the best service possible, she made sure we were satisfied with our drinks and food. The manager Arturo was going around the tables to make sure every costumer was happy with the food and service. Will be coming to this location more often with friends and family.

Horrible experience on Friday night around 10pm my husband and I left all our food and drink of how salty our wings were even after dipping them in ranch. The waitress was super rude and I would call her and she would just make eye contact and ignore me. I have never been to such a horrible place than this the only good employee they have and sincerely feel bad that she has to have this coworker is the older lady cleaning the tables other than that your young staff needs to be replaced

The server was friendly and food came out fast. The building and seating is very dated. The tables are covered in plastic and floor is even uglier, the food was average Denny’s, the French toast was no thicker then my basic toast. They don’t offer sour dough bread so don’t expect it. Bacon was not as wide or long another budget item. This place is cutting corners if your a Denny’s fan don’t come here or you will be disappointed

We came to Denny with our service dog and first arriving we mentioned our dog is a service dog a guy lead us to a booth and our server was daila it was a bad service Food came in wrong twice my bf order double bourbon bacon burger and didn’t receive the double then they fixed it however I got a lumberjack with salted caramel bananas pancakes I asked for English muffin but received white bread then in my set of utensil my knife was still dirty and we have no napkins I tried to let the server know, but she walked off before listening and only heard the speaking on the dirty knife. Then our sever saw that my bf finish his drink ask did he want more he said yes we waited over 10minutes for more water, asked for manager and told him what happened. it wasn’t handle correctly at all he just said let me see what’s going on but come to figure out he didn’t talk to her because our server brought waters and so did he right after. my bf was very upset with service and management. I work in this industry myself and have never seen a manager deflect ownership for the bad service the way this one did.

I was really needing to use the restroom & didn't want to just go in & do that. So I decided to support & not just use the restroom w/o buying something. Well I regretted that idea by spending $10 on Onion rings. This photo shows you how sorry they were.

Food quality is good, but sometimes servers, are in a hurry, and instead of letting us eat, they come around asking if we want them to remove our plates, even if were still eating. Tables could be a little cleaner, sometimes they feel sticky.

Ordered the philly cheese steak omelet with a short stack and an Arnold Palmer. Service was fast and quick with server Robert, gave me check ups to make sure everything was good. Food was hot and delicious, pancakes were fluffy and light. Bathroom was a little rough but nothing too upsetting. Overall, good dining experience.

One of my favorite locations BUT The only downfall of this place is the restroom. Overall it's always a pleasant experience. When you get the country fried steak switch it for the chicken you won't regret it.

I came here Yesterday to eat with my family and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our service was excellent, we were so pleased with our service and will most definitely come back. Food was excellent. All the employees were so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for somewhere to take the family out definitely stop by here. Not only can you eat here at the shopping center you can also shop and is if it isn’t enough there’s also a movie theater. Parking is always easy to find. Our server was very polite and her energy was fantastic. All the shakes here are super delicious. My favorite is the Oreo shake. Highly recommend this Dennys restaurant. One of the biggest Dennys I’ve went to so far.

The food was really good and so was the service. For unfortunately the place is very dirty, the tables, floors and everything. Also while drinking my coke I had a fly in my drink without noticing until I was half way which was very disappointing but told the waiters and right away gave me a new drink. Is been years since I haven't been here to this place or Dennys but hopefully they can get this issue of cleaning resolve soon.

We were seated in Roberts section.It was very busy and our service was great. Our food was hot and arrived quickly exactly how we requested it. He communicated well and was great at multitasking. Our entire section was highly satisfied! We will be back! Thanks Robert and Dennys Team!

It's sad that my 1st time order ended up in disappointment. Who ever the chef is didn't know how to cook, the Tbone steak was tasteless,the French fries was tasteless,the corn was worse.. I wasted 26.67 plus tip to purchase tasteless meal.

I had an amazing experience my server Joseph was so nice and helpful. He was very tentative and my drink was never empty, coffee warm and burger well seasoned, fries crispy but fluffy it was just perfect. I would recommend this Dennys and don’t forget to ask for Joseph !!!

My server, Shaira gave an excellent service to me and my family. She was kind, checked up on our table every few minutes in case we needed anything, and overall a great experience. Food was great, will be back to this diner soon.

The food was delicious and served promptly, thanks to Dahlia's efficient service. Overall, my visit to Denny's in South Gate, enhanced by Dahlia's outstanding service, merits a well-deserved five-star rating, and I'll undoubtedly be returning for both the inviting atmosphere and excellent customer care.
