This place is phenomenal! We were treated so well by everyone. We hadn't planned on spending almost 3 hours, but that is exactly what we did. That is even without seeing the basement level, as they were having an event going on. You absolutely DO NOT need to be a car nut to enjoy this place. P.S. if you liked this review please follow me and read the rest of my reviews.

Excellent displays! Well worth the trip and admission price!! 3 floors if awesomeness...Facility is clean, tour guides (if needed) are very knowledgeable. Lots of information and many items, cars, motorcycles etc that we've never heard of. Gift shop on site very reasonably priced. Thank you AACA!!

Fantastic place. There are vehicles here from every era. I'm a boomer so the vehicles from the 60's & 70's had me fascinated. The museum was not crowded on the day of my visit so I was able to take my time and just enjoy my trip back in time. There are also many modern cars there and a motorcycle area. The staff is super friendly and they're eager to answer any questions you might have. Thankfully I was able to attend with one of the museum volunteers so I got access to a few of the storage areas - amazing!! I'm looking forward to my next trip to Hershey and a stop at the museum.

We had a wonderful time looking at all of cars, trucks, motorcycles, busses, and die-cast models. The staff added to our experience by telling us in more detail about the vehicles. They have one of the best Tucker displays that I have ever seen. The museum is three floors and there are some displays outside.

Absolutely amazing! Great cars, beautiful spacious facility, and friendly staff. They rotate exhibits out enough to keep you coming back. Sign up for the behind the scenes annex tour to see even more cars in the storage annex! Kids love the train room! Mega display, with tons of detail.

Top notch museum at a reasonable price. The displays may change, but the collection is solid. Very nice backdrops and settings for the cars as well. They must have the most extensive collection of Tuckers that I have ever seen. I spent 2 hours here.

Definitely an interesting location. A little small in my opinion for the entry fee. If you are into antique buses, there’s a lot of cool exhibits. They have the bus from Forrest Gump and Speed.

We were surprised by how big this museum was. A very informative museum as well with lots of interactive parts where you can go inside buses (they have the bus from the movie Speed and Forrest Gump) and they had a diner that was actually functional at one point but was transported there and you can walk inside and interact with. The gift was was very reasonable with items ranging from 1.50 to 15.00. And for 3 of us to go it cost $45

Fantastic museum with lots of unusal cars. There were actually 4 Tucker cars on display! Also loved their bus collection. they usually have that on the lower floor but since they were setting up for a trade show the busses were outside. We were still able to see them however. Nice location and easy to have a picnic there.

This was an awesome museum of antique cars & muscle cars. The staff was very helpful in explaining details about the cars as we went through. There were cars from manufacturers I had never heard of. Beautiful cars, some were ahead of their time & the manufacturer didn't survive. There were a few motorcycles as well.

Really cool spot around Hershey if you're looking for something else to do besides the theme park. I appreciated the theming around the cars instead of just having cars lined up. The staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. There's also a cool train area setup in the basement with a lot of attention to detail. I enjoyed it and the little kids nearby seemed to enjoy the interactiveness of it as well.

Can’t recommend this place enough! All of the paid staff and volunteers go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The displays rotate about 6 or so months to always keep it interesting. There are cars I’ve never heard of and walked away having a decent knowledge about. It’s all self guided with volunteers to explain anything if you have questions. The tickets are extremely cheap for the experience, less than $15. Please go and support this amazing museum!

Wonderful trip through the evolution of the automobile with cars stretching back to the late 1800s. A nice way to spend a few hours "cruising" through autos of the past. Definitely cars here, like the Tucker, you might never see anywhere else.

The AACA museum houses lent vehicles along with orphaned cars. The permanent exhibition is housed in another building. See the oldest automobile that existed. Check out the bus and motorcycle displays on the ground floor. An interactive miniature train exhibit is also on this floor. Upstairs check out the hood ornament display along with various toys and toy vehicles modeled and inspired after some of the ones shown. The Hershey's kiss mobile is also on site. Most items are do not touch but some are interactive which gives you a hands on experience like getting behind the wheel of a Tucker car. Be sure to check out other exhibits as well such as 1940s gas station and the road map exhibit. Loved how they set everything up according to time periods. I enjoyed the drive in movie set up complete with cars and the Rt 66 exhibit. The Tucker exhibit is the largest collection. Allow about 90 minutes for your visit. Docents are on hand to guide you and answer any questions.

This is a true hidden treasure down the road from Hersheypark! Well worth it (only $12.50 for seniors). A variety of interesting automotive artful such as toys, lunch pails, buses, and, of course, cars! The displays are all professionally staged and beautifully lit. There are interactive model train sets for the kids to play with. Finally, its pride and joy are the Tucker Autos. Put this as a must-see on your next visit to Hershey! Tip: Follow up on your visit to the museum with a great meal and some brews at Troegs Brewery.

All three levels were outstanding but my most favorite was the ground level🥰🥰....I plan to become a member of this museum for sure😉😊. I apologize in advance for all the photos 😁😊.

The only reason I took a star away is because they have limited seating options throughout the museum. I have limited mobility and walk with a walker and although they had some benches throughout, it just wasn’t quite enough. That being said, I noticed that they have a few loaner wheelchairs in the museum. I do walk with a walker, I just need to be able to sit throughout the visit. The bathrooms were accessible with stalls big enough to accommodate my walker. The museum itself is a gem. They had well organized displays on everything transportation. Although the main attraction are cars, they also focus on trains and buses. The one thing I really liked was that the information posted for each item included the items complete history of everyone who owned it. I thought that was a great touch. One of my favorite items was the prototype of the Delorean. I’ve seen many museums with that car just not a prototype. I expected more from the gift shop. They had a variety of items for sale, but not a whole lot of choices within what they had. I was looking forward to buying a license plate bird house but they only had one with a Texas or Oregon license plate. I would’ve at least liked an option from one of our surrounding states.

Love this museum. It’s not the biggest museum by any means. You can expect to spend about 1-2 hours here. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. They have three Tucker cars which is awesome! They have Whitney Houston’s Roll’s Royce and the bus from Forrest Gump. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This is a really nice museum. We have visited this one before. There are a few city and coach buses on display that can be walked through. For those into muscle cars, this is not your place. They do offer the opportunity to drive a model T.

Absolutely loved spending the day here! They had a huge selection of great cars (old and new), and I hope to go back again one day! My favorite car of the day was absolutely the GT2 RS they had. That was an incredible car that was previously raced, and it was just stunning to get to see up close like that! I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes cars in general!

A gem of a car museum!! Well maintained, a great variety of cars, from incredibly rare to utilitarian vehicles like ambulances & hearses, it was so fun & interesting. Learned a lot!! I’d you loved the movie Tucker or are interested in Tucker automobiles, their collection is vast. Memorabilia from one of a kind cuff links to employee ID cards. Worth a good visit. Oh, they also have motorcycles! And busses. And…

Came to see the tuckers and it was not let down. The Tucker area is amazingly well laid out from the early days of his inventions to the end. Lots of original artifacts and new old stock. 3 original and one movie car on display. The other parts of the museum is set up nicely too. Hand painted murals that correspond to the eras car. Downstairs has large buses one of which from speed.

While in Hershey, we stopped in to visit the car museum. My little one enjoyed pretending to clock in & out with the old time punch clock and sitting in the old fashion office with a rotary phone. My mom/aunt enjoyed seeing old cars from their childhood. The men volunteering were wonderful from telling us interesting stories to entertaining my daughter at the old diner display. The train exhibit was interactive fun for adults and kids alike. We'll definitely return. I highly recommend stopping by when you're in Hershey.

I went there for the first time about a month ago and loved it so much that I took my son back 2 weeks afterwards so he could see all that history. It's a car museum and an amazing one at that but there's also interactive features which add to the experience. It really takes you back in time...the Tucker wing is a plus because those are rare cars that you don't really see anywhere else. The museum was clean and is very well maintained. If there's enough staff on hand, you can opt to pay a little extra and take a tour of the cars that aren't currently on display...it's well worth the added fee to see additional cars and trucks. There's a decent sized gift shop near the front entrance in case you want to take home a memory of the experience and there's a small vending/cafeteria area downstairs if you need a snack during the tour. I can't say enough positive things about this beautiful museum and all the automotive history that's so well maintained inside

This Museum has so many vintage cars trucks buses and special exhibit of mini bikes going on now that there was so many things to see and to understand about cars and how they just don't make them the way they used to. All the exhibits were nicely spaced out and there were two floors to go through so there was no lack of things to see. The gift shop has some very nice memorabilia to remember you our trip to this Museum. It was very easily drivable to get to. I would recommend this for anybody that wants to see vintage cars Etc.

My grandson had a blast! Staff is friendly and interactive if you choose. Train exhibit is interactive with foot pedals for the kids(or adults). The cars were absolutely beautiful. Hand sanitation stations everywhere. Found it cool that you can actually board the buses.

Beautiful museum this is definitely a must see just for their Tucker collection alone. But the Tuckers are just a small part of this amazing car museum. This museum will appeal to the daily driver, gear head, or vehicle historian alike. 10/10 you must see.

There was so much more than we expected! Three stories and a gift shop. They have the bus from Speed and Forest Gump. My daughter's favorite (shes 2) was the interactive train room. We only had an hour before close but I would plan for 2 hours in the future.

  • 5/5 Timothy B. 3 years ago on Google
What an awesome place. Loved all the classic cars, Busses and Motorcycles. Brought back so many fond memories of my youth. Everyone should visit this museum. They have a program where you learn to drive a Model T, then get some road time driving one. I am adding that to my bucket list.

  • 5/5 James P. 3 years ago on Google
Amazing collection, especially the Tuckers. I was in love with the whole exhibit. Can't forget about the concept Delorean (the first one, the actual concept!), as well as Betty White's Cadillac gifted to her by her husband Allen Ludden. Lots of neat and interesting vehicles and motorcycles, buses and more! A little bit of everything! The volunteers were extremely friendly and willing to share information, and I even picked up a few cool books from the gift shop for $5 a piece. Loved it here. Will likely come again if we're in the area again. Loved it.

This is excellent place for old car buffs. Very informative and well presented. There's a section devoted to buses that includes some vintage school and transit buses. We especially enjoyed the rooms with an elaborate model train setup. There was lots to keep track of. One area is devoted to the Tucker automotive story. Never heard of it before, but I learned a lot. Well worth the time.

  • 5/5 Thomas N. 3 years ago on Google
My review may be a little biased since I'm a huge car nerd, but I think that just goes to show how awesome this place is if you like cars. All the exhibits were very well designed, with many cars having extensive information on their history, and had subtle yet fitting backdrops/environments. My girlfriend, who brought me here, was never super interested in cars, but half way through the 1st floor (the main exhibit area) she mentioned she was getting really interested in the cars, especially the old Cadillacs with their distinctive angular designs. Some exhibits didn't really have much information beyond the make, model, and year, which was a bummer because the Puch Maxi that was exactly like the one I have (however the one in the exhibit was all original and in much much better condition than mine) didn't have anything beyond that basic info, and I wanted to learn more about the history of it. The bus museum in the basement was really awesome, especially being able to go inside several of the buses. Pictures always make classic Senicruiser buses look huge, however after seeing one up close here and getting inside, I was amazed at how small they really are. If you're at all interested in cars, bikes, or buses, this is absolutely a worthwhile place to check out if you're somewhat nearby. It's by no means the Peterson museum, you'll only need about 2-3 hours to see the whole thing, but it's still a great museum, and makes a great afternoon trip. They also apparently rotate exhibits somewhat regularly, so I might just have to go back again in the future!
