Horrible!!! Yes, it is affordable but not worth it!! Didn't waste my time taking pics because half of the basic necessities weren't in the room. I couldn't believe that Choice Hotels allows them to be in their rotation. I thought I was in a horror movie. This hotel needs an entire renovation from top to bottom. The pictures of the room are false advertisement and are probably from when they had their grand opening. No iron, bathroom nasty, creepy, and old, no continental breakfast, lock missing from the door. I pray that anyone that reads this review takes it seriously, this is nothing but the truth. No exaggeration, I'm not capping!!! I didn't leave because I was in town for a conference and didn't have the time to check into another hotel.

Do not stay at this hotel! It's a total dump! An they will steal your money. Paint peeling from the ceiling, room carpet floor is torn up, its not worth the disappointment. I haven't gotten my money back yet when I didn't even stay at they dump of a hotel. Also don't be mislead by these pictures because that hotel looks nothing like these picture. They worse.

I usually find that most reviews are just a bunch of Karen’s. This place, you don’t want to stay here. Mostly people who live here. The room was the dirtiest room I have ever seen in 20 years of traveling . It’s make the bed and that’s it. Walls are filthy. Carpet? Oh lord!! It’s like something you see in the movies as a crack house. I just laughed and left. Called choice and got rebooked somewhere else. If you just want cheap and don’t care. This place is for you.

The clerk charged my card four times claiming each time it did not go through then waited for me to go to the ATM and get cash. Once I found out that I had been charged repeatedly they claim I was refunded but the bank stated that was a lie. Crooked establishment that hates women and tries to take advantage of the vunerable.

This was a simple"bait and switch" room looks nothing like they show on the website,the tv didn't work the ceiling tiles in the bathroom was coming down and there was no way I was getting in that dirty tub,they should rename it "Bates motel"......

That's the very poor hotel ever I stayed in econolodge so far. Rooms are very poor and it's doesn't looks good. As per my other echono lodge expenses I thought that could be ok but I really I felt worst. Manager attitudes was good but Rooms are very poor and smells. I don't like to go back again that hotel.

Anything you see about this hotel on the internet is a lie. The rooms are disgusting. Haven’t been cleaned. We had no toilet paper, no cups , no towels and the handle on the faucet was broken. The price isn’t low enough to have to deal with such horrible conditions. And the free breakfast???? Where is it? Nothing is free here except the hand foot and mouth disease and bed bugs that you will more than likely contract during your short stay. Never again. I’ll sleep in my car before I’ll pay any amount to step foot in this place. I almost forgot. The furniture was so old and nasty . It looks like they bought it from a dive hotel in a town just a little better than south holland. Please do yourself a favor and drive passed this place . The tiny savings is not worth the risks you’ll be taking by staying here.

Worst hotel I’ve been at, most of the rooms smell of cigarettes, and they always have problems with check in, either the company card doesn’t work, or they make you cancel the reservation, and you have to go through choice service, so that you can even do it. Do not recommend, stay away from this hotel!

I'm a home town guy. Do the older cats are a joy to converse life how it is verse how it used to be. I love baths. Only problem.they are not accepting a current temporary state I.d. from Secretary of State facility. I don't know y? 1/2 block from Maxwell street Polish. I had a steak last week. The pancakes & french toast & tacos are 2-die-4.& Lemon or German choc. Cakes or cheese cake.

They were pretty ok. They had security there too which made us feel like things were handled if stuff went left.

They're cheap as hell! They turn off the water at midnight and turn it back on at 10:30a, check out is 11a! There was no water main break in the area! CHEAP!

I have to be honest. Rooms are decent and clean. A little slow check in but that’s not a bother. Rooms and lobby smell fresh.

The whole building is raggedy !!!! inside and out , and smells like mole , and it flooded on the bottom floor and its cigarette wholes and every blanket and sheets , the floors are warped and cracked old tvs , can’t even watch my fire stick , twins beds, no queens beds, half cleaned and has crack heads and zombies walking around the building. Don’t go here the whole time I felt like I was sleep in a bear cave that had roaches.

There's nothing that's right about this place. I could give you a list of 100 items and still not be even close. I'm not certain how the city of lansing Illinois allows such an entity to be in business. Violation after Violation. Rates F-

I reserved this room for my kids mom to take them to her sisters funeral my kids aunt. This was horrible to have them stay at this dirty unkept room. How horrible to be subjected to this while attending funeral. The sheets were dingy, the carpet had stains it definitely is the WORST hotel my family had ever had to stay at EVER!

hello, I won’t invent anything, the fact is that they never cleaned my room for the whole week of my stay. and by the way, room 146 has a very dirty carpet, there is so much land in it that you can grow potatoes, and the room is also heavily checked by cigarettes. there's a lot to be said. about your hotel, I just didn't have enough money to stay, that's why I was with you. I wish you to really improve the condition of the rooms in the hotel and not ask customers to overestimate the rating. I already gave you a high score. Sincerely. all the best.

Room was dirty, floor sticky. holes in the wall. Door not secure. Tried to give me another room but it reeked of cigarettes and it was not clean either. Went to another hotel. Will be contacting management to get my money back.

This place is terrible it's a motel for homeless people to stay there until they get place with shelter. My aunt is there I took her some food. I wouldn't let my dog stay there. United States let immigrants come to the state and put them in a nice hotel. U have American people that's been in the State all they life and put them in a motel that's not liveable! Something is truly wrong with this picture!

Walls are absolutely dirty. Dirt still on sheets. Carpet looks to not be vacuumed in forever. Walls are poorly patched. Paint chipping off everywhere.

Just do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.. Even if it’s cheap. It’s cheap for a reason.. My catalytic converter was stolen off of my vehicle during my stay at this property. For the time being, I figured my vehicle had a muffler problem.. Having returned home, I checked my vehicle more throughIy and realized why it was so loud all of a sudden.. I called to let them know what had happened and I was told that they would check the cameras and they never called back. I also found a toe nail in my bed.. YUCK! The bed spread was very thin and had atleast 5 holes in it.. The shower water barely got warm.. The area has a sketchy vibe in general. I’m never staying here again. I’m calling my insurance company tomorrow and also probably will have to file a police report with the South Holland Police department.. Sketchy, rinky dink, dirty, and cheap. The only plus was that the staff was friendly.

This was 1 of the most nastiest hotels I've ever been to. The room given was dirty beyond measure. The bed had dried, white crusty substance on the bedspread and tables. There was Black Mold around and on the inside of the tub. The toilet had not been cleaned and the Deadbolt was broken off the door. The Representative attempted to offer me another room, which also had dirty sheets and Black Mold in the tub as well.

Kinda rough looking area. Rooms in bed of obvious repair. It was the cheapest in a block of about 8 or more hotels right there. You have to go through Travel Lodge's parking lot to get to it with no sign indicating that. They have us a room with a full bed instead of a queen that we reserved with no other rooms available. Rooms were clean, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and allowed us a later checkout. The safety latch on our door was broken off.
