Just go out there and throw your line out in the water without a hook and just sat there and pretend you're fish, it will calm your nerves down. You'll love it. Plus you're saving some fishes lives. Check out my pictures I uploaded. They have the names of some plants you'll see around the areaπŸ‘

Love this park/recreational area. Its beautiful and well located. It's fun area to go fishing, feed the ducks, go for walks and experience the beauty of the backdrop.

Fishing ponds in South Jordan on the Jordan River Trail. Right now one is full of water and the other is almost empty. I guess if fishing is your thing this might be a neat place, it has pavilions, picnic benches, and bathrooms right next to a nice neighborhood. Safe and clean place to teach your kids to waste their time fishing.

We enjoy fishing here. It’s a great grouping of community ponds off the Jordan river. Close to home and easy to access. They are pretty well stocked with fish. The kids love coming here because they can watch the local water fowl take off and land in the ponds. Or roam about the area. It’s also a park with paved trails for biking, roller blading or strolling.

Great place to learn how to fish, or to just spend some quiet time with your family and friends! The city normally stocks it with Catfish, Channel Catfish, Bass, Bluegill, and Trout! There are some good size fish in there! I recommend it for sure!

Beautiful quiet spot to have a picnic, walk along the river or ride a bike. The mountain view is ever present and ever pleasant. It would have been nicer if there was a way to get closer to the river to see it flowing but we didn't want to go into the reeds and risk running into a snake. Late fall through early spring are my favorite times because the vegetation along the river has died from frost and the river is visible. The sky is bluest during that period as well, adding to the mountain view.

Stopped for a brief picnic lunch before an appointment. Seems like a good area to take a walk but the picnic table benches have been vandalized so now I wonder about the area.

This is a good way to get an outdoor experience in the city along the Jordan River. Great ponds stocked with great fish with a fish cleaning station. Public restrooms, picnic areas with bbqs. Paved walking and bike trails. This is a great place to have a family party or reunion.

This has a decent sized parking lot and connects to the jordan river trail. There is also a pond here so you can fish if you’d like. It’s a nice starting point!

Really pretty. Nice area for a walk or to take young kids. Fishing isn't good.

It's a cool feature to.the park but I don't know anyone that has ever caught a fish here. There are reviews online that say they have but I don't believe it. Never seen anyone catching fish 🐟

The only thing is that the fish are small but the sunsets are beautiful! I don’t recommend eating carp! The pond to the far right really needs attention- the seaweed could possibly be cleaned out and cleared for the river! The river to the left could be cleaned where the drain is the moss/seaweed is blocking the drain and there’s trash too.

I don't really fish but its nice walking by these ponds. I was glad to see they had filled back up with water last time we went by. They'd been looking pretty sad before that.
